Just experienced OUTSTANDING 5-Star service from 3 plumbing techs with Nichols & Phipps, Woodbridge. We discovered water leaking from an unknown source below our slab in the kitchen. Without any available plumbing plans for our 23yo house in Belmont Bay, Luke, Stephen & Edgar began a systematic search to locate the leak under the concrete slab, which they found. It was an Extremely difficult endeavor. They finally located the leak, replaced both hot & cold supply lines and repaired the slab, all in two days. Superior skill & service. Very polite, courteous & helpful throughout this trying evolution, and they cleaned up too. Definitely a 5-Star business.

Russell came and did extensive electric work for my house. He installed under cabinet lights, added a new switch for the kitchen, added pendant lights for an island, and corrected some shoddy electrical work that was previously done. He even took the time to troubleshoot a light source that wasn’t working properly and got it to work. Professional, experienced, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Excellent Service from Ky at Nichols and Phipps

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ky from Nichols and Phipps, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service! Ky installed two filter boxes, an easy trap kit, a gas union fitting, and even went above and beyond by rerouting all the wires to make sure everything was neat and out of the way. The job was completed efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.

Nick and his team did an outstanding job replacing all water supply lines in my new home. Ky and the Nichols & Phipps team worked with me all day from 8am-4pm on the Saturday of MLK Day weekend to fix a very old oil furnace that needed hard-to-source parts. They tracked down the parts, called every oil vendor in the DC area to find someone who would come out on Saturday, and assured me that they would be with me until it was repaired. They even texted me that evening to make sure it was still working properly. If you want knowledgeable technicians and caring service, you cannot beat Nichols & Phipps.

It's been an adventure just trying to hire someone to replace our water heater- out of 4 places we called to get estimates, Nichols and Phipps was hands down the most responsive, reasonable and personable. There is a whole story here but bottom line is, we went with Nichols and Phipps, their installation was great (I have hot water!) and they came back because to get the new water heater down the 84 year old basement staircase a door and frame had to be removed, so a very handy person reinstalled our frame and door. I highly recommend them.
