Update 3 days after visit: Turns out my satisfaction was premature. The system failed again due to thermal overloads and Briggs had the codes but ignored them as extraneous codes; they shouldn't have. So they didn't do anything unnecessary, but they didn't resolve the reason they were here in the first place.

Quality and honest work from a dependable company. When larger companies didn't seem to care about my business and stood me up on appointments, I turned to Briggs and they went out of their way to respond the same day, on time, and when they didn't find anything wrong with the system, explained the drain likely clogged for a while, shutting the system down. They didn't try to make unnecessary repairs and did the annual maintenance for me while they were here. They care about their work and Austin was spectacular in explaining things to my wife so we knew what was being done and why. Wonderful people at Briggs.

Geraldo did an excellent job of servicing our HVAC. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

These people were really helpful. They are knowledgeable, they follow manuals, and they do follow ups to make sure that the job is done properly. We needed them to fix an issue that was created by another HVAC company who did a terrible job and left the work incomplete. Briggs techs came in and worked relentlessly until they found the problem and fixed it permanently. We highly recommend them.

Dryer vent cleaning and gas fire place inspection - Gerardo was excellent at his job. He explains what needs fixed and did a great job.

Had them come out to clean my dryer vent. They called when they were about 10 minutes out to let me know when they would arrive. Tech was very nice and showed me the pictures of the cleaning once he was done.

Gerardo was very efficient and thorough with the inspection and changing the air filter. After his work he reviewed the results with me. Definitely a 5 star visit.

I needed immediate service for my dryer vents and contacted Dennis. I just want to say I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided. I called around to several companies in the area who either missed their scheduled appointment (twice!), or where incapable/not equipped to service my homes particular build. Dennis showed up promptly, cleaned my vents, got my dryer to work, and all at a price point that was at least half the other companies I contacted! I highly recommend Dennis for all your dryer vent or air duct needs. Great job all around.

Mr Briggs came by to evaluate my older gas fireplace. I was afraid it would need to be replaced, but after a few minutes he had it working flawlessly. While here he cleaned it up, positioned the logs, and thoroughly tested it. He answered all of my questions and made sure I was ready for cold season. Thank you Mr. Briggs!

I can’t say enough good things about Briggs Heating & Air! After calling around and getting nowhere with other companies, I was relieved to speak with Carrol, the owner, who treated my broken AC like it was her personal emergency. She was incredibly responsive and compassionate, and immediately dispatched a technician—Mr. Wonderful(and the name truly fits!).

Mr. Wonderful was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything to me without any pressure. On top of that, they were understanding of my budget and worked with me to find an affordable solution.

Our Heat went out before the storm. Briggs came out assessed the situation and installed a new system the next day in time for the storm. When the temperature was negative outside our family was warm inside.

Outstanding service and super professional--from the Front Office to the hands-on owner, who not only supervised the repair crew but actually joined them during the setup and repair! Professional, reasonably priced, courteous, safe and communicative throughout the entire process. From the timely estimate to the final report with photos, they went out of their way to renovate and customize my chimney--now much more functional and looks great! I compared several other companies to Sixpenny and they are clearly the best in the VA/MD/DC area. Highly recommend for chimney repair, renovations, and maintenance! Sixpenny Chimney (Briggs) was great service for me. On time and did exactly what I wanted them to do for my gas fireplace maintenance/inspection.
