My mother had to have a Thermal Expansion Tank added to her gas hot water heater. We were able to get an appointment quickly and it was installed quickly too. Wow! What great service! Thank you Jay for taking great care of us today! :)

Brendon came out to look at my water heater because my gas bill and water bill was extremely high because of some sort of leakage. He found the problem within minutes And fixed the problem immediately Send me so much money. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. I’ve even had other companies come out to evaluate the problem and not one person was able to come up with a solution and fix it so I have a lot of respect for Brendon and his skills

In this case, "I'm in hot water" is a good thing. The whole process from connecting via Home Depot re: new hot water heater, to the initial efficient AI contact to a contact with Tim (human) to learn of options/cost to having an appointment to arrival of the technician (Charles) (with prearrival I. D. photo) was slightly more than 1 day! and on a Saturday! Charles was thorough, pleasant, did a great job of reviewing the paperwork, pre-work inspection and post-installation instructions. They take care of permitting. An added bonus was that the work area was left spotless. Seems like a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience.

Excellent experience with Fast Water Heater from my first call asking for estimate to replace our water heater (that Fast Water Heater installed almost 16 years ago & still working) to installation. Installer, Rizq, explained everything that would be done, answered all questions and installation was quick and neat.

Brendan arrived early morning and worked hard all day. A very pleasant young man. I enjoyed his company. He explained everything in detail. I would recommend your work anytime.

Install guy was great and did a good job. My issue is with Fast nickel and diming me to a significantly inflated cost. All the addons made a 2.2k install into a 3.5k install. Around 280 dollars for a 40 dollar expansion tank is just gouging, especially when the tank already has roughly 1000 added for install that takes just 2 hrs. Not using Fast again with these business practices.

Provided great service, same day install ! Talk about fast. They understood my budget needs and I didn’t feel pressure to make a decision right away. I appreciate the serviceman as he was prompt, knowledgeable, and kind. 10/10 would hire for service again.

Fast Water Heater is a very professional, efficient company providing 5-star service from scheduling, corresponding, to quick installation of replacing our Tankless Water Heater. Even calling later in the day, I got scheduled for a next-day appointment. I really appreciated their itemized proposal with a very reasonable price. Another well-known large company gave a more expensive quote, but wouldn’t give an itemization. So unbelievable as replacement is a huge expense. Obviously, they did not get my business as I wouldn’t know where costs and our money would be applied.

Tommy, the Fast Water Heater Tech, had reviewed my photos of our older, leaking tankless water heater. Before coming to my appointment, he felt to bring a replacement unit in case there was a major issue. His intuition proved correct, saving time for everyone and he did the replacement at same appointment.

Tommy was friendly, professional, very informative, detail-oriented and thorough in explaining entire process of installing new updated model. This included the permit process, all handled by the company. Tommy worked fast & within a couple hours of unloading equipment, we were testing hot water running through faucets. It was another 45 minutes to wrap everything up. Fast Water Heater lives up to its name!

I was very impressed with Fast Water Heater’s efficient system of very detailed checklists and documenting installation with many photos. They emailed everything for our records. I am so pleased and happy with the excellent experience and service provided by Tommy and Fast Water Heater. I highly recommend them and will share about them to neighbors, family, and friends!

2/5 Stars - Installation Issues and Incomplete Work
I hired Fast Water Heater Company via Home Depot to install a Rheem Performance Platinum (Gladiator) 50-gallon water heater. While the heater itself works, there were significant problems with the installation that required a callback.
Issues I discovered:
1. Missing Pipe Insulation: The contract included “up to 6’ of pipe insulation” as part of the standard installation, and Washington State code requires hot water pipes to be insulated (IRC M2105.1.4). When I inspected the work, the hot water outlet pipe was completely bare - no insulation at all. This is both a contract violation and likely a code issue.
2. Overcharged for Shut-Off Valve: I was charged $380 for two water shut-off valves ($190 each). However, I already had a functioning shut-off valve on the main cold water line. The installer added a second valve on the expansion tank line that isn’t necessary or required by code.
3. Had to Request Callback: The installer left without completing the insulation work that was paid for. I now need them to return to finish what should have been done during the initial installation.
What went right:
∙ The water heater itself appears to be installed correctly and is functioning
∙ Expansion tank, drip pan, and flex lines were installed

Bottom Line: The core installation seems solid, but the lack of attention to detail on the pipe insulation and the overcharge for an unnecessary valve is concerning. I shouldn’t have to inspect the work myself to catch these issues. I’m waiting for them to return to complete the insulation and process the refund.
I’ll update this review once the callback work is completed.

Brendan did an exceptional job removing my old water heater and installing a new one. He was great at problem solving because the water heater was in a tight area and he had to also move my washer & dryer to access the water heater in the pantry. He took time to explain my options and what to do if something should ever go wrong.

Customer service was also excellent. They reached out to me immediately after I requested service from Home Depot’s website. They gave me multiple options for a water heater and insisted that I did not have to commit to buying the water heater if I did not want to during the consultation. I received same day service after I called.

I highly recommend FWH!

I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the whole process went. Our hot water tank failed after 8-months. I called the service number Thursday afternoon and they had a technician out Friday afternoon. He installed a brand new hot water tank and also added a pressure relief tank, which we didn’t have before. Jay, our technician also recommended installing a foam pad under the hot water tank. We were using a concrete block, which tends to suck the heat out of the. I was extremely happy with Sam, the service manager and Jay.

Brendan communicated everything very well. He installed the new tankless hot water heater in 6 hours and when he was done, everything worked great! He was friendly, fast, and always made sure to call with his arrival time. The new water heater is working great!

By luck of the draw we had Connor come to our home to install a water heater. From the beginning he explained everything in clear, easy to understand things he will be doing.
We are so impressed with his skills,, personality and very pleasant demeanor.
We welcome him back to our home anytime.

I had a great experience. Chuck was the technician I worked with and delivered on the promise of fast, quality work. Everyone I spoke with was professional, knew their stuff, very helpful. Best of all, reasonably priced- half of the first quote that I got for a tankless replacement. Would recommend!
