After 29 years my well quit working on Sunday at 3 pm. I called Valley Pump and Joe, the owner, was at my house within 90 minutes to trouble shoot what happen. Joe, diagnosed the problem after inspecting the well head and the pump. The next day Joe sent his team to fix my well issues. His team was polite, fast, and ready with all the parts to replace the tank and well pump. Our water is now working better than ever. Valley Pump Inc. is the business to go to for your well issues. Outstanding customer service from the top down. Thank you from our whole family for fixing our problem with 24 hours. Super highly recommended. Thanks, Mike

Amazing! If you’re on a well, you know what it means when you turn the faucet on and nothing happens. We had no idea what to do. We called as many companies as we could find in the phone book and got recordings about returning our call within 24 hours. Then we were referred to Valley by a friend. First, an actual person answered the phone! That person was so gracious and sympathetic. After explaining our emergency we had two of the greatest guys at our door within a couple of hours. They had the part, fixed the problem, were professional, experienced, super guys! Can’t express how great this company is and grateful to have a number that we trust and can call at any time. Thank you!

First class company First class Service
I have been a general contractor for over 40 years. CEO Joe Alcorn is knowledgeable, courteous, ready to help, and is able to understand and diagnose complicated water related problems with texted pictures when possible, and by talking to the customer, so that when his crew shows up, they have the needed equipment and parts to do the repair work.
Whenever possible, he will send a crew to deal with emergency repairs the same or next day, even though they have work already scheduled several weeks ahead. When we called with questions, Gray was more than willing to share his knowledge and information about our water problem when Joe Alcorn was not available .
Journeymen well technicians Kyle and Magnus along with helper Peter worked efficiently to do much needed repairs to our four family well system and allowed me to do the needed digging in order to keep costs down on our last repair job. Aurora, answering the phone, is always courteous and efficient.
5 stars! I highly recommend Valley Pump NW

I would give zero stars if I could. DISHONEST!!!!!! Estimate was doubled with bill …& the job wasn’t complete. Known in the industry as it turns out, for being horribly dishonest

We woke up to no water one morning after only being in my home less than three years. I was told to give Valley Pump a call. I spoke with Dave who was very knowledgeable and after asking a few simple questions had a good idea of what the issue was. He said he couldn't guarantee a crew today but could get them out the following morning. He wasn't pushy for me to wait and politely told me just to let him know if I am able to get someone there to fix it the same day. I called around and another company was able to come out. They didn't ask any questions and upon arrival diagnosed the issue but I was told that "we don't do that". They did charge me for their 5 minutes of time. I should have just waited... The next morning as promised Dave called and said the crew was on the way. Gray and his tech were AMAZING. They were able to fix the issue and were so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and answered all of my random questions about my system. We were able to get water the same day! Rates were also reasonable and I am so happy for their great service! Next time I know exactly who to call. Thanks again for all your help!

Valley pump is quick to respond and get you on their schedule, But more eager to get billable hours at $320/hr. They need constant supervision to keep them moving towards finding solution and not just hanging out. $1,068 To check pressure from the well and flush/check pressure tank output. Only to be told they don't know what's wrong and to hire a residential plumber. As a construction professional myself I'm saddened by the service and communication of this company.

Had Valley Pump put in a new filter system and replace pressure tanks on our well. Prices were comparable to other bids we received. The guys that came out, I think it was Kyle and crew, were super nice and so helpful. We appreciated them being patient with all of our questions and after the work he made sure to walk us through the system and teach us how to maintain it.
Would definitely call this company again. -
They were asked to check the pump just to make sure that was the problem. They said oh the pump is toast. They didn't check it. They stood around and bitched at each other, when they finally finished the job of replacing the pump. I got a bill of 8,500. The water pressure is low where it wasn't before. Not impressed!

Pump went out Saturday night and called Valley Pump Inc. on Sunday. Kyle got in touch with me within 30 minutes and walked me through how to fix my issue over the phone....and it worked!
Incredibly grateful and hope nothing but the best for this business. -
Valley Pump has been our neighborhood go-to for years. Prompt service, friendly and knowledgeable technicians, fair prices. They do everything from drilling to pump replacement to basic system maintenance.
-
Valley Pump was fantastic. They responded quickly, priced the repair reasonably, and the technician, Grey, was highly knowledgeable and professional. We’ll be calling them for routine service going forward. (But hopefully not any more emergencies!)

BUYER BEWARE: HIDDEN FEES & QUESTIONABLE SERVICE
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY'S PRICING STRUCTURE
I'm writing this review to save others from the frustrating and expensive experience I had. Before you consider hiring this organization, please understand their deceptive pricing model:
The Real Cost Breakdown:
$350 "Service Fee" - This only covers UP TO two hours of travel time (not actual service)
$350 PER HOUR for the actual work performed
You will pay for travel time to OTHER customers' jobs
Expect to pay at least $1,000 for even basic service calls
When I questioned these excessive charges, I was given the runaround with no resolution. Management refused to address my concerns about the unclear pricing that was never properly explained upfront.
Additional Concerns:
The service technician arrived with a firearm visibly hanging out of his pants - completely unprofessional and concerning for a home service visit
Staff was dismissive when I tried to discuss the final bill
Their pricing structure appears deliberately misleading
BOTTOM LINE: Save yourself time, money, and frustration. This company charges premium prices for substandard service while hiding their true costs. I strongly recommend reading ALL reviews and getting written cost estimates before considering their services. -
Pump stopped working on a Saturday. Called Valley Pump and talked to Joe. Rather than charging me overtime to come out on a Saturday evening, he asked me a series of questions and we discussed what I already tried and his best guess of the problem. Monday morning Joe arrived and took a look at everything and gave an estimate. Josh and Martin arrived a few hours later to start working. I should point out, this was the hottest day so far this year. Temperatures in my area were 108 degrees but it felt like 115 outside my house. They were very nice and professional and got to work right away. They were able to remove the old piping and pump without cutting through the roof of my well house. I thought for sure they would have to remove a wall or cut through the roof or worse, order parts and I would be without water another 2 or 3 days but nope. They worked continuously in the hot sun and were able to replace the piping and install a new well pump. They also upgraded my control box. I had clear running water before they left. So grateful for Josh and Martin suffering through our unusual heatwave and restoring water to me. Thank you sooooo much!

Same experience as Brianna. I wish I read the post before.
Valley Pump cheated me. When called about water pump stopping intermittently, they said they had the availability and can come the same day and that it would cost me $350 for a two hour service call including travel time. They came to my place stayed for an hour max and charged me close to 4 times more for a service call where they didn’t even have to put in any new part. When called about the bill owner is told me stories about the traffic and crew came back late and so he had to pay overtime and again none of this was communicated ahead of time. A $350 service call ended up being $1390. Be wary of this company. -
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Joe at Valley Pump is absolutely incredible. I’ve honestly never met a business owner like him. He spent hours on the phone with me tonight helping me troubleshoot a well that wasn’t working at my new property. He didn’t rush me, he didn’t make me feel like a burden—he just patiently walked me through every step until I understood what was going on.
I can’t thank him enough. It’s so rare these days to find someone who genuinely cares and goes out of their way to help like that. They’re even coming out first thing tomorrow to get everything resolved.
If you ever need well service, call Joe. His faith, integrity, and knowledge set him apart. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. -
Owning a well not always cheap. To those who complain about the hourly rate, Valley Pump is right in line with the competition. I get it sucks laying $500 every time you have water issues, but it beats city water all day long.
These guys have installed, replaced and serviced 2 of my wells since 1992.
Recently, Dave and Joe did a great job at repairing my pump, instead of replacing it, helping me suck the last out of my existing pump.
I’ve tried the others and Valley Pump has been the best fit for me. Even the office gal is good! -
