Avoid this company at all costs. Their tactics are shady and dishonest to say the least. They sent postcards with “SERVICE REMINDER” followed by a date (04-09-25) and time (9:27 AM) for ‘RE: Water heater flush and inspection,’ designed to make you think you booked it when you didn’t. That $99 ‘credit’ is just a lure to rope you into calling. It’s a deceptive trick—don’t fall for it. If you got a card, report them to the FTC and State Attorney General. Legitimate honest and companies do not do these things.

Brandon and his team has helped me multiple times and saved my family (of 6) money vs. Their competition. They are forthcoming with what needs fixed and what doesn't. I appreciate their business.

My wife called Grind Stone Guys about our front hose bib. Nick came the next day, did an inspection under the house and then explained everything, including photo's about what was happening. He also showed me where a leak going to the rear bib was starting and that he could replace the pipe and move this bib to a location easier to access. He gave us the cost and the time needed to complete the repair. We couldn't be happier. Nick was friendly, professional and did the repair in the time frame he quoted. When he left, he said to feel free to call him any time about any plumbing issue and he would be happy to come take a look. Grind Stone is committed to great service and we recommend them to you.

Highly commended for excellent service, warranty advocacy, support competence, and efficient service. Replacing a water heater under warranty as the original installer, I appreciated Fast Water Heater’s customer care staff especially Edward who advocated through his contacts at Rheem for me. Not only did he help with calls but he clarified my responsibilities and explained next steps under warranty. Truly, the company has integrity to stand by its work and consideration to support customers FAST.

Charles was very professional and courteous. He was prompt and performed the installation satisfactorily. This is my second install by Fast Water Heater. The staff is helpful and prompt returning calls and email as we planned the project. I chose a Bradford White hot water heater because of the reviews and made in the USA.

Our 35 year old water heater finally gave up and started leaking. Sent them an e-mail for an estimate about 11am. Within 30 minutes, I got a call from them explaining the process. Sent pictures over to their tech so they knew what to expect. He showed up around 1:30pm. After an inspection, he gave me an estimate. At that point, I could give a thumbs up or down to go ahead. Price was lower than I expected. The tech had to overcome several problems with our old system. He's been doing it for decades, so not a hassle. Job was done by 4pm. A pretty painless transaction. They to were sent by Mfgr to install part previously diagnosed by other plumber. They arrived and determined the correct problem and expedited the real part from Mfgr. Once part arrived they then showed up on the same day to fix my water heater. Both technicians were professional and very knowledgeable. I so appreciate their expertise.

I was charged $300 for a basic metal stand and another $300 for a thermal expansion tank that costs about $30 retail. Between the upcharges and unnecessary add-ons, I ended up paying over $3,000 for a standard 40-gallon water heater with a 9-year warranty.

If you’re able to shop around, definitely do so. I would not recommend trusting Home Depot’s outside installers — the pricing is extremely inflated, and “overpriced” is honestly an understatement.

Scott received my call and made sure what I needed was recorded. I spoke with with him three times and he was friendly and made sure what I wanted and needed was correctly recorded before the purchase. Jim came out to install the water heater and he came on time and finished the job like a professional.

They were here the next day, after we called. However, what we expected to be a few hundred dollar repair was over one thousand dollars. What I find suspicious is that they will NOT quote an hourly labor rate. When the technician was done, in around an hour, we didn't get an itemized receipt. One was not offered. While we are happy the hot water heater is fixed, I would not call them again.

Noticed our water heater was starting to leak and went to Home Depot which contracts with Fast Water Heater. We picked out a rheem that was $760. We let FWH know our tank has a recirculating pump and tankbooster already installed on the tank. FWH quoted us $2100 for parts, install, and labor. Tech came out and our quote quickly went up to $3000. They didn't mention the expansion tank, the extra labor for hooking up the recirc pump, and there was another charge of $100 for an unlisted plumbing charge. We were in need of a water heater soon but next time I'll be shopping around for different quotes.

Fast water heater installed my water heater the next day after I called them. The installer was professional and did high quality work. The cost was a lot cheaper than the two other plumbing companies that gave me estimates.

Can't say enough great things about FAST Water Heater Company. Had an estimate within a couple of hours of calling and they were able to schedule very quickly upon acceptance. Very thorough on their pre-install inspection and the installers were on time, in and out in about 2 hours and did a great job. Chuck was the main installer and I was impressed with how he worked with and guided his helper/trainee. Shouldn't need them again for a good long while, but wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

Vinland is an asset to the company. He is very knowledgeable and polite. He was able to answer all of our questions. We were surprised at how quickly our old heater was replaced and installed in less than 24 hrs from the time we called for help.
