We had an excellent experience working with Smart Buildery, and cannot recommend Alex highly enough. From start to finish, he delivered outstanding work and showed a level of professionalism that genuinely sets him apart.

Communication was consistent throughout the entire project. Alex kept us updated on progress, next steps, and any adjustments that needed to be made. He arrived on time, completed everything we agreed to, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations.

One thing that really impressed me was how clean and organized he was. Many contractors leave behind dust or debris, but not Alex. He cleaned as he worked, and every area was spotless when he finished.

There was also a small situation where I had mistakenly directed him to park in a reserved space. The moment we realized it, Alex immediately moved his van and apologized to the tenant. He handled the situation with complete professionalism, which we truly appreciated.

We also had a slight change in the project scope once work began. Alex carefully assessed the updates, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured we were aligned before moving forward. Although the added work extended the project later into the day, he still delivered everything to a very high standard. We are extremely pleased with the final result.

We absolutely plan to work with Alex again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and professional contractor services.

The Wall Doctor Team did an absolutely beautiful job repairing the damage left as a result of an extensive electrical rewire to both our drywall and plaster. They worked quickly, efficiently, and the quality of the work was superb. Absolutely recommend them enthusiastically!

Outrageously, shockingly high quote - like 4x higher than everything else I got and 10x higher than the competitive bids I got.

I think it’s there’s a large range that is reasonable to quote as businesses need to make money, cost of living is going up and honestly I get a lot of high quotes as a younger looking woman in Bellevue. This is so high it felt predatory.

The front desk people who answered the call were nice though.

I have contracted the Wall Doctor to paint our house, it is still not painted and it has been extremely frustrating to deal with them. I originally met with Rob 5 and half weeks ago where he told me he would get me a quote for painting the entire inside of my house in two business days and they would start painting a week after I signed the contract. It took me a week to get a quote, a week before I spoke with someone after they received a contract and a $3,300.00 deposit and I had to call them. Then they said it would be three more weeks before they would show up to paint. Originally Rob told me they would be here Monday, then he called and said they would be here Wednesday between 8:00am and 8:30am. When they didn't show I called their office and the owner of the company, Gary, said they were going to give me a call before they showed up. This was never told to me, I canceled plans, rearranged my schedule, took all art work and tvs of the wall. So maybe they will show up tomorrow, like they said, who knows. I do know one thing, at this point I would never recommend them for any job. I will be updating this review, here's to hoping they show and do a nice job painting.

The Wall Doctor did show up the next day. Almost every day I had a different crew of painters, some of the painters where very good, and some of the painters where very very bad. At the end of the job I had to call Gary the owner to have people come back to fix two hallways and a bathroom where paint was everywhere, the toilet, the ceiling, other walls, uneven edges, a poorly done warped patch. Two men did come to fix the problems and those two guys worked hard for 13 hours. In the end, most stuff was fixed, not everything, I still have some edges to fix and some green paint on a grey wall, I paid them the remaining balance and was happy to never see anyone from this company again. A couple of weeks after the job I was in a tragic plane crash and lost my four year old daughter and my father, Gary called while I was in the hospital and harassed my husband about this review in the end I believe my husband had to hang up on him after asking Gary to leave us alone. So here is my update. I would really recommend using anyone other than these painters, it was a most unpleasant experience.

Wall doctor team (Pat, Brian, Rob) repaired my ceilings after home upgrade accidents. My home has 70s cedar ceilings and the team did miracle repair recognizing the material is so unique to NW (clear rough sawn tongue & groove)... GREAT performance. Thank you.

This is the company to call when you're on a deadline to get your wall fixed. We've had them repair our walls on three different occasions over the past 20 years. In every case we had unexpected holes in our walls due to plumbing or electrical issues, and had to get it fixed fast so tenants could move in. Wall Doctor came through every time and did a great job. They are definitely more expensive, but for us it was worth it to have the quality, reliability and speed! Rob the estimator is responsive and helpful!

We had a very smooth experience with The Wall Doctor. From my first phone call with Rob I could tell that he’s a dedicated professional who really cared about his clients’ needs, even when it’s just a small project. Throughout the communication process he was always friendly, attentive to details, and efficient — all qualities one seriously can’t take for granted especially in this day and age. Chevy was also great to work with — he arrived on time on the day of repair, stayed organized, informed us of his progress, and cleaned up before he left. It was a job well done and we much appreciated the professionalism. We would definitely call The Wall Doctor again next time + recommend them to friends and family.

The Wall Doctor worked on two homes doing all the restorations and major repair work. Appreciated their professionalism and expertise. We be using them again when we have the opportunity to do so.

Really frustrated. Keep finding things. Hired The Wall Doctor to repair holes after a house rewire and drywall an old house’s addition that was never drywalled. He insisted on some light texture to save money, forgot to put it in the contract, so I added it in the notes “light texture” - this texture is thick, like a cheese grater. The texture was clumped on the tops of the doors, 2 patio and 1 main, and on 2 windows. Not cleaned up. When drywalling the ceiling, the crawl space access was not put back/no more access to the crawlspace. I’m pretty sure there’s no insulation in the ceiling because it’s freezing, and no way to add it… the little hallway that is part of the addition wasn’t touched. It’s so weird, it has the same weird ceiling panels, it’s clearly part of the addition, but they didn’t touch it. I don’t get it. I felt like I was nickeled and dimed. Paid premium prices for bare minimum work spread over as many days as possible, so they could also charge me for that. And without letting me know the schedule/plan. When a window sill bowed up and couldn’t close/lock, in the room getting drywalled, I WAS CHARGED FOR THEM TO OPEN THE NEW DRYWALL AND FIGURE IT OUT. I wasn’t even living in my house. I didn’t bow the window. The window was closed and locked last time I left the house. I remember being so excited to come the last day they worked to see the finished walls and there was a huge gap between the floor and the baseboard trim in the old part of the house, I was standing there in shock they would leave a house like that without calling, texting, or emailing, “our quote didn’t include this bit, but this finishing bit is what I’d do to cover the gap…” I’d guess, why start communicating now? Over it; I went & bought quarter round and added it that night. This week I noticed the ceiling in the addition is doing something. I emailed Rob a few days ago and he hasn’t responded. What is happening to my ceiling? Is there some consumer advocate that can help me get help?

Gary and Todd are phenomenal! My home is a 1934 Tudor in Magnolia. I needed to update the electrical wiring from knob and tube to romex. The electricians did their part but I needed the Wall Doctor to finish the job out. There were easily over 50 circular and rectangular wall cuttings in my home. Wall Doctor came in and repaired and painted all of them! You wouldn't even know the electrical project was done. Here are some before and after photo’s. I hope to hire them again for future painting and remodeling.

Jake Adams of Wall Doctor helped repair several sheetrock and trim areas, including designing and building a quick access frame and panel to cover the main water valve to the house. Excellent results and a pleasure to work with - very professional.

Previously, we were clients of the current owners, so our experience with this team of professionals dates back six or seven years. Projects have included repairing extensive water damage in our garage (including drywall and ceiling replacement), designing and building a complete utility room in our barn, re-siding and repainting our home, concrete work, fence repair, deck install, insulation install, etc. Their work is consistently of the highest quality, performed in a timely manner, and fairly priced. They are also great communicators. Their construction knowledge is exceptional and their craftsmanship is truly amazing!
