Plumber Chris did a meticulous job installing my new Karran kitchen sink and Kohler faucet, using a multitool instead of a circular saw to enlarge the cut out to avoid a mess. Friendly and professional service.

I have used Purdy Plumbing a few times and has ALWAYS been delighted with the service. Rarely do you find a service company that is an advocate for the CLIENT, and truly puts your best interests first, AND does a stellar job in the process. Love them and will remain a loyal customer!

6 weeks without hot water. We have been working through our supplemental home warranty provider, which ran us around for weeks. 1.5 hour wait times on hold just for step one. Anyway, 1 plumber, 1 electrician and 4 weeks later, Rich at Purdy came by and said that our tankless hot water heater needed to be replaced. Pretty shoddy original install in the end. So they shuffled their heavy work schedule and got us a new, upgraded water heater. The customer service was excellent and I felt great confidence in their knowledge. Thank you to Tami (should be on the wish list for any Customer Service business), Rich, Richard and Mitch - professional and communicative plumbers. We now have a better performing hot water heater and my stress level has taken a nose dive. Thank you, Purdy!

Responsive, punctual, quick, friendly, tidy, honest. I have used Purdy Plumbing for a few jobs recently, including damaged drain pipe repair, on-demand water heater maintenance, and shower/ faucet stem replacement. I will call them again if the need arises.

Rich at Purdy Plumbing went above and beyond to help get a new water heater installed in my home. He spent hours dealing with a home warranty company after the previous fix of replacing the thermalcouples failed through no fault of his own. The water heater was 30 years old. I can't say enough about the expertise, kindness and empathy he showed. Plus, Linda and Laurie in the office bent over backwards to fit me in to a very busy schedule on two occasions. Rich and this company are grounded in honesty and integrity. You've made a customer for life! Thank you, again, for your patience and diligence!

Had Purdy plumbing out last night to fix a leak on our toilet valve.Cris was the tech that did the work.He was very professional & friendly. I was shocked at how little he charged us only around $300 dollars. Most other companies would charge that as a trip charge.We have had them out a few years ago and they were half the charge (if not more) than any other company. If you have any plumbing needs you should definitely include Purdy plumbing !!!

*I still cannot speak about Purdy Plumbing in a better way. These people are flat out amazing. We had a new tech we had never worked with, Chris, come help us with a driveway drainage issue. Problem was found within minutes and saved us SO MUCH time and effort. He was an expert troubleshooter. On top of that, he gave us some insight on a propane fireplace issue we have been dealing with and saved us about $500 by doing so. Love these people.*

It all started with a leak under the kitchen sink July of 2024… Well, replacing a hot water heater, installing two toilets, fixing three leaky sinks and their connections, moving the two toilets to install new flooring, checking for leaks under three new sinks and their connections later (Feb of 2025) … I’m really happy to share Chris of Purdy Plumbing came through to make all of this happen in the most positive and enjoyable of experiences! From that first phone call to the most recent phone call, setting up appointments has been professionally and expertly handled. I can’t say enough about how well I was treated as a person plus all the great work that was completed!! Thank you, everyone at Purdy Plumbing!

I found a new plumber for life. I had to call Purdy Plumbing to inspect a possible leak as my dinning room floor was stained. Within a few days Purdy came out. They discovered the leak and repaired it. They recommend a great company to repair my wet hardwood and wet crawl space. I had Purdy install new pex plumbing through out my house and install a new water heater. They did a fantastic job. I would recommend them without reservations. It's a local family run business in Gig Harbor.

Purdy Plumbing has done several plumbing repairs and upgrades for me over the past few years. I appreciate the quality of their work that they stand behind and at a fair price. It’s always a pleasure to see them when I need the help.

I had Purdy Plumbing come to my house today to fix a number of things - a hot water heater that was improperly installed by another company, a kitchen faucet, and a bathroom faucet. Cash was the plumber I worked with and he was incredible! I am extremely happy with the service and felt the prices were very competitive and fair. Will be using Purdy Plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs!

I reached out to Purdy Plumbing because I had a leaky shower head and thought the entire Delta cartridge needed replacing. After a few days of sending them photos of the cartridge, an estimator from Purdy called and said they could come over the next day to replace the unit for a flat rate of $535.00. Since I’m not a plumber, I thought that was the usual price. Well, it turns out I didn’t need the entire cartridge replaced; it was just a $29.00 part, and an additional trim kit that costs $35-$80 retail.

The plumber was on my property for a total of 40 minutes, but I still ended up paying $535.00. When you add up the parts, it works out to more that $425.00 per hour. This wasn’t an emergency call; it was a scheduled appointment.

I called Purdy Plumbing to express my concern about what seemed like a very high fee. The estimator finally called me only to start lecturing (bullying) me over the phone. I knew the moment he started talking where this was going, and I knew I was going to pay for falling for their flat rate tactic. He said he would meet me halfway, but what that meant was a check for $58 big ones.

I was insulted not once but twice by this company. I’m keeping the check framed and mounted in the guest bathroom so when people ask me about the check, I can share my experience with Purdy Plumbing and let them know about the $425.00 dollar per hour special rates they have.

Do yourself a favor when hiring service tradespeople; call around and get estimates.

I’ll never hire Purdy Plumbing again.

Excellent service from Purdy Plumbing. All work performed as agreed. Good communication and cheerful prompt response from the office staff (Kathy I think - I hope.) Richard our plumber went straight to work with a smile - not kidding. We had budgeted $3,000 for the work including a new Toto toilet in our main bath. Total cost came in at $2,100 including the first day inspection of our crawl space.

I had Chris as the expert come out and he quickly diagnosed my brother's plumbing problem. Was more extensive than I originally thought but he used time wisely and coordinated others to help from another local company to get septic pumped. He's a pro and he digs really fast. I'll ask for him first if the need comes up again.

We had a water leak emergency where we had no water in the house. We called Purdy Plumbing and they sent out Rich. He was on our doorstep within 30 minutes! Immediately the stress level diminished. Rich was very professional and answered all of my dumb questions all while repairing the damaged pipe. I have already shared my experience with friends.
