I had a highly positive experience with the field crews at NWES, particularly the lead, Evie. He and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, always prioritizing crew safety and staying late each day to ensure thorough cleanup. Evie’s communication skills were outstanding, which made the start of my project—installing 16 solar panels, 4 Tesla Powerwalls, and 2 SPAN panels—truly impressive.
However, things took a turn when technical issues arose with one SPAN panel and a Tesla Powerwall connector. This is where the project management’s weaknesses became glaringly apparent. Instead of stepping up to resolve the problems, my project manager demonstrated complete incompetence. There was no timely outreach to explain the issues, no proposed plan or solutions, and even after my repeated follow-ups, responses were delayed or nonexistent. Now, a month past the original completion date, I’m still without any updates on fixes or a timeline to wrap things up. I even postponed an important summer trip twice to accommodate the schedule, only to be met with radio silence on my emails and calls—as if my concerns didn’t matter.
This highlights a severe lack of fundamental project management skills: poor communication, disorganization, ineffective time management, inadequate problem-solving, and zero focus on client expectations. Without these glitches, I might never have noticed the management flaws, but they’ve left my project unresolved and frustrating.
I’d still rate the field team 5 stars, with special praise for Evie—he’d make an exceptional project manager himself. That said, I urge potential customers to carefully weigh NWES’s project management shortcomings before committing. I was set to give a full 5-star review until these issues emerged, dragging it down significantly.

It took a little time upfront going back and forth via email and the form to explain, show, and clarify what I wanted but once it was done, everything was straightforward and simple. Payment was all online, work was scheduled and completed as expected. Inspection set up for me and happening today. I used the EV charger last night and all good. You made it all so simple and easy for me. Thank you so much! If you do electrical work other than EV and Solar panel, I'll hire you in a heartbeat again!

Northwest electric and solar did a good job of installing a Tesla wall connector in our garage. David was our electrician. Our panel was maxed out, so they reused the 30 amp dryer circuit using a smart switch to work for both the dryer and ev charging. They did all the required permitting work and the inspection passed without any issue.

Couldn’t be more impressed with Northwest Electric for an EV charger install. It was very easy to get a quote and I was surprised to find such a great price compared to other electricians. It was easy to schedule and the technician, Cameron, showed up on time, was very professional and easy to work with. I was impressed by his speed, cleanliness of work and was creative with the installation. The charger was installed outside on the siding and he even reinforced the mount by adding some clasp 2x4 I had laying around. 5 star service all the way around. We used NW Electric and Solar to install a Tesla charger at home a few months ago. We chose the company because 1) they were certified by Tesla, 2) they were responsive and pain free to deal with from quoting for the job to scheduling the appointment, 3) they were knowledgeable about the current rebates and incentives offered, 4) competitive pricing. We were super happy with the installation as the technician was professional. He came on time, completed the installation and the certification process efficiently, and left the installation site clean. We wish we had installed the charger much earlier! Thank you for a superb job done!

Install crew was courteous and professional. They did a really good job on the installation and it turned out great. More could have been done to make sure the system was fully operational before they left. It was apparent right away that something was wrong and it took me hours on the phone with Tesla and countless attempts with NWES to get someone to help me get my system up and working. After around 3 weeks of troubleshooting with Tesla and then finally NWES did I find out from Tesla that the reason my setup was non functional was due to a setting that was either not configured or overlooked during NWES installation. Once I found out from Tesla that this setting was incorrect, I contacted NWES and let them know. It was fixed within the next hour. However, I can understand why it was difficult to get any help from NWES due to the fact they were trying to churn out as many of these installs as possible before the tax incentive disappears at the end of the year.

I've worked with NW solar team to install solar panels and home batteries. They are highly professional and very well organized.
Throughout the installation they kept us informed on the progress and the end result was amazing, exactly as we planned out.

I came upon this well reviewed electric vehicle charger installed company by Google search. Communications has been smooth, timely, and excellent. Very easy getting a quote through the online portal. Pricing was extremely competitive and lower than other quotes. Scheduling and install process went smoothly. Finished product looks excellent. Technician was very professional and kept the work area clean. Highly recommend.

Very good experience in getting my Tesla PowerWall installed. Was kept informed every step of the way. They kept to the schedule and the work was first-rate. If/when I have solar panels installed, these are the people I will call.

The work crew was amazing- great guys and easy to talk to and ask questions. Materials are scarce, so make sure you have a clear timeline and if you have your own crews for any digging, make sure NWES has the right wire there to bury before your trenchers dig. My project manager never came on site- my main frustration. But again, when I took the time to press and get answers, they responded, but you should be ready to do your own oversight throughout the process. The cement team they sourced for me was also efficient and quick.
