Recently, we added another TV, prompting me to make some needed changes to my system. I called the Directv 1-800 number and got nothing but the run-around.

Frustrated, I called the team at Col Basin Satellite and the needed changes in my system were handled right away. The technician was on time, professional, and courteous. Never again, will I buy TV service from a 1-800 number. Buy local!

plus $ 250 installation. I only used it once and the latest technician said it is obsolete and does not work. He said to throw it away.

I was recently overly impressed with my interaction with Columbia Basin Satellite & Electric. They have always been great to work with, but they went beyond expectations with some trouble I was having with my DIRECTV. After several frustrating phone calls with DIRECTV customer service about issues with my Satellite/receiver not working correctly I decided to call Dave and his team. They came out the next day and totally resolved all issues that DIRECTV could not figure out. They really know how to make their customer happy and I highly recommend getting your Satellite and electrical needs!

I recently had a DirectTV "emergency" at my job. Mike came out and got us up and running in no time! They are absolutely awesome and I highly recommend them! I am in the customer service industry and it is so nice to have a company provide such excellent customer service!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We purchased an attic/outdoor mount tv antenna to receive over the air channels and just needed it installed and wired to one tv. This was a simple job that should have taken an hour to complete. We hired professionals because we didn't have the time and wanted someone with expertise to tell us what we needed to do to get this working. The technicians were friendly but I did not get the impression they had much technical experience in this area. They mounted the antenna in our attic fairly quickly but put it in a location that was easy for them to wire but impossible for us to easily access later. We had even discussed the placement beforehand (for repositioning) so I have no idea why this was done. We scanned for channels on our tv and still had poor reception despite theoretically being well within range with our style of antenna and location. The techs spent over two hours kind of willy nilly pointing the antenna in all directions (literally, 360, even with no chance of hitting signal there) looking for better signal with no luck. It felt like they were just running the clock. They even sent my husband over to home depot to get a signal amplifier which had no effect. They didn't seem to have much understanding of how to troubleshoot this issue and left without discussing any other resolutions like relocating the antenna outside, or trying different equipment. They left us in the same position as when they arrived except I'm now out $450 with no tv, and a useless antenna in my attic that I would like to install outside but can't even access. I would call them back but really am just tired of this situation and can't imagine paying them any more than I already have for this.

I ordered my Direct TV through Columbia Basin Satellite. The staff member I worked with was very friendly and helpful helping me decide what products I would be needing and I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. The website is easy to use. I was contacted by staff quickly after my inquiry. I look forward to using Columbia Basin Satellite in the future.

Took my mom in to possibly sign up for Dish. The whole experience was great. From Dave in the office to the installer (sorry can't remember his name). I'd reccomend going through Columbia Basin Satellite for any of your Home entertainment needs.

Very good service except for the equipment they first brought was defected and i had already cancelled my current service. Thankfully they were able to come back with good equipment 3 days later. Technician was very personable, helpful, respectful, knowledgable and a nice guy. My biggest issue was that he was in such a hurry, I didn't learn much as he went through the training process. I learned VERY little. I do not know how to use it, even to get to the regular TV. Hoping a family member comes into town to explain it all to me. Thankfully I can use the voice command to get to basic stuff. I am not tech savvy.

These guys are great! I highly recommend them. We've had them do projects for both our business and our home and every time I've been completely and utterly satisfied and happy with the work, professionalism, and the knowledge of the staff. They get two thumbs up and 5 stars from me!

Unfortunately, I have to bring my review to one star. I hired this company in 2022 to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. They installed a second breaker because of supply chain issues and all seemed well until shortly after. The second breakers tripped constantly and they said that a high percentage are factory defective. They offered to sell me new breakers but the electrician instead bypassed the second breakers. They also said not to tell anybody they did it this way but that the outlet was safe from the first set of breakers.

In 2023 one slot of the outlet was loose and melted the fixture into my EVSE plug. It almost caught fire. The electricians replaced the receptacle with one from Lowes and asked about temperatures during the initial installation because of screw tightening. I was never told to tighten any screws. They insisted on taking my old receptacle and would send me an invoice to avoid a 4.5% card fee. After trying to find a way to pay, I received a call while in Europe for work. I told the man (Mike) the situation and told him I needed the receptacle to file a claim with the manufacturer. He originally said it was probably "tossed out" but found it moments later. He re-iterated multiple times that he was the "owner" of the company although I am unsure why. I received an invoice shortly after but it took two more calls to ensure the invoice was correct as I insisted I'd pay the late fee per the invoice policy unless I had written documentation. I paid the fee and am forwarding this issue to the necessary people for inspection as I don't feel safe with their work.

Columbia Basin Satellite & Electric is a great local owned and run company. They have great customer service ( especially Mckenzie ) and they are very patient with every customer they see. And they do a great job! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to do electrical contracting to basic dish set ups!

Essie and Mason are awesome! Essie greeted us with a smile, was warm and caring and helped us decide which package was best for us. No pressure. Great customer service! Installation was quick and Mason talked us through the whole process. Would highly recommend.

Can't recommend them for small, but important jobs. After paying a large fee for an "estimate" I was given advice that I only needed a breaker. That was good news. The only reason they get two stars is the electrician who came to my house. They didn't have the older style breaker and it was up to me to get one. I called back wanting to ask some questions and to verify that they could complete the work with the breaker I procured. After multiple requests and waiting over a week they failed to return my call and my problem persisted. I ended up calling someone else who came out the same day and did the breaker install. I’m doing a major kitchen renovation/expansion and needed an entire rewire job done on the whole kitchen. During this remodel I have dealt with plumbers who flaked on me and hvac companies that have flaked on me. It seems to be a real nightmare finding honest companies looking to do quality work. With that said, I could not be more impressed than I am with Columbia basin Satellite and Electric. Special thanks to Spencer and the crew for doing such an outstanding job. Thoroughly communicated scope of work, including thinking of many aspects I had not considered and implementing them into the job. They were very prompt and provided top tier work. I always came back to a clean work area when they were done for the day. It can be painstakingly difficult to find and hire good contractors, but I can assure you, you will not find better service than the one provided by these guys. Will recommend to everyone I know for electrical work.

These guys are the best. We had a problem and they came out the very next day and had it fixed. Their customer service was excellent and they were very helpful in resolving my concerns. We switched from Charter and their tech, who was very helpful, was out within two days to switch our service over. Highly recommended.

I also was very pleased with the young man, Abel, who came to my home to install my satellite dish. He was knowledgeable, courteous and very efficient. He went thru how to use the remote, the channel list, as well as the remote guide. I was pretty overwhelmed by the amount of information that I was given, but have gained more confidence as I have continued to explore and investigate on my own. If I have any further questions or concerns, I will contact Columbia Basin Satellite and Electric to help me.

Prompt service, polite and did a great job installing my Dish system. Kept me informed when they had to move the location of my existing satellite dishes to ensure the signal was clear and strong and would remain so for a long time. Great job guys!
