I used Columbia Basin Satellite for installation of in-wall-speakers in multiple locations in my house and to relocate few electrical outlets. The two installers came in exactly on time, identified themselves and the company they worked for and went promptly to work. They were very polite and pleasant. The installation was performed flawlessly and cleanly. Can’t ask for more. I would recommend them to anyone.

We contacted Columbia Basin Satellite & Electric to have some electrical work done around our house. They were quick to come out, look at our work plan and give us a quote. We scheduled a date and time for them to come out and do the work which included installing replacing lights, ceiling fans, and replace electrical outlets. Mason and Scooter were very friendly and professional and completed the work in a timely matte. I would recommend this company as their work was very professional and their rates were very reasonable.

Absolutely great service, very friendly and easy to schedule. Only negative i could say is the price, but I was obviously willing to pay. Id recommend them without hesitation.

I’ve really struggled with my experience using this company for my Starlink installation. I’ll take responsibility for the fact that Starlink’s equipment and measurements were confusing, and I originally had a malfunctioning dish that required a second visit. I was also unaware that the Gen 3 system only comes with a 50-foot cord, while my Gen 2 came with a 150-foot cord, which added to the confusion. Even so, the quality of the work from this company was disappointing.

During the installation of the upgraded dish, the technician mounted the Starlink directly under the roofline, even though there were better placement options available. They blamed this placement on the shorter cord, but there are multiple viable mounting locations at the front of my house that were never even explored or discussed that the shorter cord would have reached no problem. This has affected the signal and overall performance and is actually worse than if I just kept the malfunctioning satellite. They also left debris and exposed wiring running through my office, which is especially concerning because my kids are in and out of that room every day. My home was left messy after the visit, which added to the frustration. Not to mention the excess putty they left to just melt all over the roof.

When I reached out about the concerns, they offered to come out free of charge to move the Starlink “one foot,” but anything beyond that would require a charged hourly visit. At this point, I just expected the job to be done correctly, especially considering how many times I already had to schedule them to come out and happily paid their hourly fee each time.

Overall, the communication and workmanship fell short of what I expected, and I cannot say I would recommend them based on my experience. This company seems to take no pride in their work or how they leave their customers homes. I’m sure they will respond to this review with their excuses (that I have been receiving via email all morning) but the pictures do not lie. See attached.

They told us that they thought that they what the problem was. They advised a 2 hour minimum at 135 and hour 270 plus tax minimum. They went over to the house, never called us or wrote back to tell us what they found or even what they suspected. We contacted them and asked about the visit and the half hour they spent at the house. Nothing was wrong but for a half hour to find nothing we paid close to $300.

Although electricians in this area are very busy Kim was able to quickly schedule, stop in and fix an electrical problem that cropped kitchen activity. His prompt attention and through problem analysis resulted in a quick correction of the problem.
