I had purchased a home that the gutters had not been cleaned out for years. They came out, cleaned off my roof, cleaned out my gutters. Was done quickly and the entire mess was bagged up for me. Excellent work.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I hired Ned Stevens for a gutter cleaning, and they upsold me on a full replacement. Since I plan to sell my house, I agreed. That’s when the problems started.

First, they told me some wood needed repair before gutters could be replaced. At first they said they could handle it, but later told me I’d need another contractor. I hired one just for the wood work, but he couldn’t start until the gutters were removed — which I had already paid Ned Stevens to do.

After weeks of delays trying to coordinate, Ned Stevens finally came back (their 4th visit) only to tell me they wouldn’t do the job because of power line concerns. This was something they should have noticed the very first time they came out.

Wasted a month of my time, and left me with nothing done. Completely unprofessional.

The crew did a wonderful job cleaning the gutters on my home.
I was very impressed with the cleanup efforts. They actually cleaned up more than just their mess.
I would use them again.

Gustavo is a highly experienced and personable technician. He recently became the leader of the Washington division of Ned's Home company. He responded to a challenging situation with the exhaust from our clothes dryerthat is too detailed to report in a very timely fashion. As a former director of large teams of people, I recommend him with with great enthusiasm.

1/22/24: Ned’s reached out after seeing my review. Kristi was much nicer to deal with than the first 2 agents that were not helpful or empathetic. Kristi refunded my window cleaning and offered to take care of the damage their workers caused. I declined that offer. Sometimes you just have to move on. This is a good example of how poor communication and training of customer service and field technicians can result in losing a previously satisfied customer. I wish I could say I would trust Ned’s again, unfortunately I’m done.
12/20/24: I’ll be updating this review once I find out how Ned’s resolves serious problems we had with this year’s services. They used a pressure washer to clean windows and removed paint from my window trim.

The team arrived promptly for the gutter and roof cleaning. They left the property clean. We had to request a call back for the roof due to stubborn debris that was initially resistant to the treatment. They took care of this without question or charge and very quickly! I am pleased that they chose to sweep the roof rather than apply more chemicals. It looks great now. We will use them again- signed up for bi-annual gutter service so we don’t have to worry in the future.

We had them replace our gutters. After it was completed, we had an issue with one of the downspouts. Even though that was not part of the original work, they agreed to fix the issue to take cate of us. It was trickier than expected and the crew didn’t do it right. Gustavo (manager) had to come out to assess. He came out on a Saturday, and went above and beyond. He spent time to troubleshoot, found underground drains we didn’t even know about, he painstakingly cleaned them all out, was great with our son who wanted to help, and came up with a solution to the downspout problem that was perfect. He’s having the crew come on Monday to complete the work. The company took care of us, and Gustavo was amazing.

Eynar & Kevin arrived bright and early got right to work and did an outstanding job!! They let me know right away of any issues my gutters had and fixed the problem expertly. Then cleaned and treated the roof and cleaned the gutters and cleaned up all around!! Very happy with the company and i also signed up for the maintenance plan to keep the flow going!!! Excellent job !!

I was extremely happy with a service provided by NED’S HOME company. The service was done a next day after I have scheduled it. A working crew has done a great job. After they left, a roof of my house is free of a moss, the roof seems to be treated with some powder to prevent that moss from regrowing, windows are clean, and my gutters are clean too. The crew did not leave any mess around my house either. I will reach back to this company again in a close future for more services.
Also, a price for the service was more than affordable.

We had Ned’s Home service us today. Pricing was incredibly fair, especially compared with others. This company was very easy to work with and the workers are just amazing.I have been having some trouble finding a company that would go up on my roof (they tell me it’s too high). Shaquis said it would be no problem, he was very friendly, explained everything, and even gave some suggestions for improving other areas of the house. Him and his partner were very professional and they were very quick, and that may make you think the quality wasn’t as great- but that would be incorrect. Amazing job, Will be hiring again, thank you.

I’m very happy with Ned’s gutter cleaning service. Two professional technicians arrived—then got right to work cleaning the gutters and the mess that comes with the job. They were safety conscious which is important and we are happy with the results.

Hired Ned's last spring for a gutter cleaning as they negotiated a semi-reasonable price although I was put off by all of their attempts to upsell on other services. Anyway, they did the job and it was a mess. Left debris all over my yard and also left notes that I needed repairs. I got quotes for their suggested repairs and others said I did not need repairs. I called them and made sure I wouldn't get any recurring services and shared that their crew left a mess. I had a feeling they had me on a recurring schedule because they were so adamant about upselling services and continuing the gutter cleaning. Well, I got a text yesterday saying a crew was on the way. I called immediately and told them to dispatch their crew and not do the job because they weren't supposed to be coming at all!!! They said they couldn't contact the crew becuase "they are not supposed to be on their phones." The crew showed up. I have been charged $172 which I told them yesterday I would not pay. I plan to contact them today and I will update this review one way or the other depending on the outcome. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

UPDATE: To their credit, Ned's contacted me in a reasonable amount of time and agreed to not charge me since I didn't sign up for the service. The troubling part is that they agreed to that if I would go in change/delete my initial review. That just doesn't sit well. Is that how they only get good reviews? Negotiate away the bad ones? Regardless, they genuinely seemed concerned to "make things right" and even communicated that they hope I will use them again so they can prove they do a good service. While I would still be wary of this company (just be sure to communicate VERY CLEARLY), they do seem to have good intentions.

Great job. Very professional. We had the gutters cleaned. So happy with the job the workers did. Cleaned the roof and gutters and sacked all the debris. As I had room in my yard waste, I told them they could use our yard waste container They kindly put the sacked debris in our yard waste. Very much appreciated. Upon finishing they used the leaf blower to clean the the deck and sidewalk of debris that came from the roof. When they left, all was neat and clean.

After having another local company cancel on me twice, we decided to give Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning a call. Jorge Montenegro and his partner came right out and did an amazing job cleaning my roof and gutters. They cleaned up the ground/deck/yard and washed everything off after they were done on the roof. The place looks spotless. Their prices were less than the going rate too. We are very satisfied and highly recommend these guys.

Two young men showed up on time driving a Lincoln Gutter truck, I was looking for Ned marketing truck but ok. Both very personable but all business, from my old gutter removal to watching the new gutters being crated out of the back of the truck, to hanging the new gutters, which took team work. A very smooth process and the end result looks fantastic, thanks Ned and crew!

We had an incredible experience with Kai & James! They were absolute experts—professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. They left the job site clean and pristine, and our gutters look beautiful. Thank you, Kai & James, for taking such great care of us. I would absolutely recommend this crew to my friends and family!

I signed up for Ned Steven's Platinum service. They called me and told me a section of my gutters needed replacing. I agreed to have them replace them. They came out and took my gutters off and left. They then called and said they couldn't install the new gutters and it was my problem now due to issues they couldn't control. I'm stuck in winter with no gutters and a gutter service company that can't service gutters. Be careful when considering using Ned Stevens. You're on your own.

[Updated] To clarify my review. I actually connect with the company many times. Everyone assured me, quite politely how sorry they were as I was working to cancel my account. While I do appreciate the politeness, sorry doesn't fix the problem. Another gutter service company will have to do that.

[Update #2] I wanted to provide a final update to say that the company very promptly refunded the money for the gutter replacement they were not able to complete, without me needed to specifically ask for it or even mentioning it. This is very much appreciated and high integrity.

I am very happy with the quality of service provided by the technicians that arrived at my home. Exactly on time, neat and clean, appropriate safety equipment and equipment necessary to perform the work was well maintained and new. Daniel and Franco were very polite and listened carefully about my concerns and expectations. All debri was removed and areas hosed off and swept leaving a very clean finished product.
I am very happy to have acted on a tip from my neighbor to use Ned’s and will continue in the future.
Hopefully Daniel and Frank will perform the work again next year!
I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend Ned’s.

They were able to schedule us in even during the season of heavy rain and heavier leaves. They provided competitive prices, comparable to the prices we got a couple years ago from other gutter people. We were helped by Kevin and Davy, who worked for three hours in the rain and hauled away 9 bags of leaves from the gutters. Respectful. Kind. Even helped shore up a gutter that was coming loose due to wind chucking a branch at our house. For a once-a-year, end-of-the-leaf-season visit, I think the price is perfectly reasonable and remarkably painless.

Edit: We had a great follow up with their roof repair team who helped replace the damaged gutters. Kai and James, we loved your work and you had great energy! I hope this company treats you guys well because these guys are QUALITY.

This company is a total scam. I had stopped my service because I was unhappy with their ability to complete a job properly. They would send not the appropriate number of staff or equipment to complete the service at our house that is very tall. We had to have them come back many times and still couldn't complete the job. I subsequently called to cancel the service back in 2023. I ended up having the Gutter Guard company, who installed the gutters, come to do it properly. They subsequently continued charging me once every December. Since then, I have sold my house and they just charged me for a cleaning this year. When I called to inquire about the charge, the customer service rep, who was defensive from the beginning, said no we have you listed as once a year service. Why would I have continued a service that doesn't even get the job done. When I said the last invoice I have from y'all is from 2 years ago, his response was well you probably deleted the email. When I said maybe the company should change the policy, where they notify the customer before coming out, his response was we don't do that. We have been a very successful company for 16+ years. If you want good quality care and great customer service, this is not the company for you.

My gutters were over flowing at my home and Gustavo came to my house today and was so friendly and he took the time to explain what my issues were and what he did to fix them. After he finished cleaning everything out the gutters look brand new again. He also cleaned up all the debris off the ground that came out of the gutters. 5 star service would recommend for anyone needing their gutters cleaned!

Gustavo was extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to find a suitable solution for my gutters. He was so positive and professional. It’s refreshing to experience first-rate customer care these days! I highly recommend.
