I've used Adept Mechanical for the last 5 years at my business. I wish I would have found them sooner. Always professional and knowledgeable, Shelton and his crew went above and beyond aiding me, even in case of weekend emergencies. I came to rely on them for many aspect of my electrical and plumbing needs. I highly recommend Adept Mechanical for any business seeking a great solid company for their construction and maintenance needs.

Steven was polite and knowledgeable and came an hour early. He explained things to me too. They were able to schedule us the same day and he took care of a bad clog in the drain. He was going to jet out the pipes, but was unable to do it through most of the pipes, so he didn't charge for that part. I appreciated this. I highly recommend this company and will keep them on my contacts list.
And Yes, he fixed the problem successfully.

I called Adept mechanical at the recommendation of my neighbor who is a property manager. They were the third plumber I called when our master shower drain and toilet backed up. My husband had been home from the hospital after having open heart surgery a week before when this happened. After Freaking when Beacon quoted me $1785 to unclog the pipe, I called Adept. Lawrence was at my house about 2 hours later wearing a mask. He was polite, professional and fixed my problem promptly at literally less than 1/4 of the price that Beacon quoted. Adept will be my first call every time and I will recommend them to all my friends and family!

Adept has been out to the house several times and each time, our plumbing issues have been fixed quickly and professionally. They go above and beyond to ensure that the job is done right and even point out potential areas that could be a problem later. I would highly recommend adept

They charged me $675 to fix a shower valve. We even bought a shower kit that was the correct one from Moen. But no, they insisted they couldn't use it, went out to buy parts. Fixed it and presented me the bill of $600. I was in shock. The bill didn't show hourly costs, it didn't show price of parts. It just said $675
I'm elder and I paid it but when I just saw my son over Christmas, he told me they ripped me off and they should have used my kit and broke down the whole bill.
They are a horrible business.

I called several local plumbers to get bids for the work I needed at my home. I called and spoke to Dennis from the Kent, Gary Fox Plumbing & Heating location. Over the phone he was very pleasant and professional. He agreed to a bid for the job. Yet when his plumber arrived the bid amount more than doubled. I was also given an expected amount of time the job would take and it was three times longer which made me late for work. I called Dennis while the plumber stood in my kitchen. He reassured me over the phone that he would meet me in the middle because there was more work than he thought. Not really, I'd told him upfront exactly what needed to be done! He just wasn't adding in the cost of parts over the phone apparently so the price would seem lower, but added the additional cost once they arrived. We agree to the price in the middle and then the plumber argues with me that he can't do the work for the amount agreed upon. SO I had to call Dennis again! Then the plumber finally started working. He did 5 out of the 7 things I needed done, that we agreed on. His statement to me was that he couldn't do all the work we'd agreed on for the amount we agreed on. WHAT?!? I insisted he finish the main job and I'd call Dennis to clear up this situation. Dennis reassured me that he would personally come by the next day to finish the work which should have taken less than 20-30 minutes tops. SO then, when the plumber was leaving he said "well I can only give you the price agreed if you pay me all in cash." I informed him that I wasn't prepared with cash as I made the arrangement to pay with my bank card. He said "well I will need to follow you to the bank then if you want the price DENNIS agreed to." So off to the bank we drove. He then told me he would not give me a receipt because he needed to not charge tax in order to make the price work. I was again SHOCKED at their business ethics and demanded a copy of the receipt which after agruing infront of the bank he handed a copy over. I called the next day when Dennis no-showed me. He claimed it was an oversight in his schedule and he apologized. He reassured me that he would come the next Monday since it was a Friday he missed. I said that was fine and I appreciated him prioritizing finishing the job as agreed. Well, he never showed up so I called him again. Which was followed up with another excuse. In the end - Dennis as someone who represents Gary Fox Plumbing management: misled me, allowed his plumber to try and rip me off with the work I paid for and then ripped me off himself by never finishing the job as agreed and paid for.

I am disgusted by their unethical business tactics.

I had them come out for my AC seasonal check up before summer hits and a furnace check. He was professional and answered all my questions. Cleaned up the AC really good! Gave both units a good bill of health and now I can rest easy . Thanks guys!

Dann was extremely knowledgeable and came out on short notice. He did excellent work on the furnace and AC for preventive maintenance and pointed out I had corrosion and efflorescence forming at the vent. He cleaned everything thoroughly and took the time to walk me through what was happening and gave me tips on how to prevent further issues. Great price point for the work.
