Greentop recently completed a complex job for us and I feel I must leave this review to help anyone else who's deciding whether to hire them for something complicated. They did a fabulous job and we are very pleased.

In 2010, we gut renovated our home but left the oil furnace in place at the time. This year we finally got around to replacing it with a heat pump, motivated by the hot summers we've been having, the new Seattle heating oil tax, and to be more green/efficient. So, the scope of the job was to replace the oil furnace with a 36k BTU Mitsubishi air handler and 36k Mitsubishi Hyperheat heat pump (using our existing ductwork), to add floor ducting from our addition's crawl space with a Mitsubishi ducted air handler, and adding a Mitsubishi 9k MSZ-FS09 wall mini split to another room. The latter two systems share a second heat pump, 24k Mitsubishi Hyperheat. Three different types of systems, working within finished rooms, running electrical and refrigerant lines from literally one side of the house to the other. Adding to the complexity, the exterior of our house has some architecture that makes running the line set raceway challenging, at least to do it most discreetly.

There were other guys on our job who I'm sure did good work, but to me Alex and Volodymyr were the most visible and the stars of our job. The electricians who I believe were subs were also excellent. Alex was on the job all 4 days, making our air handler and mechanical room functional and tidy. He worked tirelessly in the crawlspace running back and forth to locate floor vent placement. It took several workers to get the line set around the bend from the mechanical room and up into a finished ceiling, but they did it, and now we only have to slightly extend a soffit to enclose the lines. And Volodymyr was a wizard with the line set raceway from the second story wall unit, following my diagram to a T. And he also did a super tidy and impressive job placing the two heat pumps in our side yard (see photos), and nailed the placement of the wall unit, where we have unusual cladding on the exterior.

The electrical inspector said everything looked great, as did the mechanical inspector. Greentop only had to come back and add some sealant to the plenum box, which they did immediately, within a couple of hours of calling.

Greentop had all the best Mitsubishi equipment we asked for, and they had it on hand in their warehouse. They covered the finished floors where they worked, and took off their shoes when they came upstairs. Our dogs loved them. :) They were super professional in their work with the air handler drain pan, auto shut off, tying both the air handler and our existing HRV drip line into a new condensate pump, using Honeywell box filters and more. Not necessarily itemized in our estimate, but you can tell they want to do things the right way and did not skimp.

We've already used both heating and cooling and they systems work perfectly. We highly recommend Greentop!

Amazing service! I was a little apprehensive about calling an HVAC company because of all of the horror stories that I had heard about upselling but Ruslan was great. They were able to schedule me in same day and Ruslan very respectful as soon as he entered the door (asked if he should take off his shoes). He was very efficient at finding the problem with our furnace and did not try to sell us a whole new system. The diagnostic fee was very reasonable and at the end, that was about all it cost to have the furnace fixed. We will definitely use Greentop again if we need further HVAC services.

Greentop just installed a Midea heat pump for us and it is working great. They were able to locate the outdoor unit well and accommodate the layout of our house and yard, while other companies didn't propose a location that worked as well for us. Nice and quiet, we can barely hear the heat pump running. Very happy, five stars.

I felt Ruslan was honest and fair in assessing our situation and providing quotes for a few different reasonable options for our house. They're not the absolute cheapest option for HVAC but they install higher quality furnaces/heat pumps and, most critically, have highly skilled technicians. Given the cost of parts and labor for HVAC, it's worth the money to know the job will get done right. Thanks also to Alex for answering my countless questions along the way.

We had a great experience with Ruslan at Greentop Heating. Very prompt, professional and friendly service. Our gas heater was repaired and serviced very quickly and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Greentop.

Honestly speaking, this is a very good company with very nice and honest people! They really made my day today because I was having an emergency. When you have a facility like mine and your furnace fails to function during this cold season it becomes an emergency. These guys are the real deal. If you need furnace help run, don’t walk, to the phone and call them.

Another company tried to sell my parents a whole new system but Greentop found the broken component, fixed it, and had them back up and running in no time! All for a very fair price! If you’re looking for a true profesional who can diagnose and fix issues instead of selling you a full replacement, these are your people!

First time visit after subscribing to their annual service for our heat pump, air filtration system and gas furnace. Their rate is very reasonable and tech did a thorough job. The technician cleared the alerts on our thermostat, showed me where the air filters were and how to clean each one, which I really appreciated. Glad to have found them!

My furnace stopped working just days before a house guest was scheduled to arrive. Greentop was awesome! They diagnosed the issue and got a new furnace installed really quickly. So impressed with this company! We called NW Superior Services after finding them on google with 5-star reviews. I thought it was unlikely they'd be able to get to us today, since we are in the midst of a heatwave, but our AC gave out last night. They not only returned our 6am call within minutes, but also had a tech out within a couple of hours, and the issue was fixed by 10:30am. AMAZING service, and we are so grateful! We also posted this in our neighborhood group and similarly, another neighbor called and had everything fixed within a hour. Will be using them again.

Brian Benton made time to help us out when our furnace stopped working amidst freezing cold outdoor temperature. He repaired and serviced it at the same appt. Their pricing is straight forward, based on the job not hourly. Brian's communication was above par from the time I called him. He let me know when he was on his way (which was also in line with his estimated arrival window) and followed up with me regarding the diagnosis and maintenance suggestion. Highly Recommend!

Brian was amazing and came out to install new ductless heating/cooling units after our 22yr old furnace finally died. He got it all done in a timely manner, despite the snow. He was very professional and gave us a great deal! Highly recommend!

Brian was great. Our furnace stopped working when it was 14 degrees out. We called as an emergency to keep our two kids (2 & 5) warm. The issue was pressure related due to frozen outlets for condensation. He found a solution and got everything back up and running in under 90 minutes. Was prompt, explained how things worked and why it stopped working, and we have plans for him to come back for additional service. Highly recommend.

We like the fact that Brian was our interface and not a dispatch or customer service person. His crew of Luis & Luis are very efficient. Brian took the time to explain why we needed everything and how to use it. He also explained why our old thermostat didn't work, so that was an additional expense but now we have a complete system that we will eventually be able to use remotely.
Addendum: We had to have them return on the first hot day as the air conditioner didn't seem to work right. They came right out and tested and fixed the problem which was related to the old wiring they were connecting to. They were very helpful, explaining how to set the thermostat again and letting us know that they wanted to make sure everything was working properly.

Brian and his crew are an ideal company to work with. Knowledgeable, deliver on promises, and their work quality is excellent. Already recommended them to two family members for their homes.

Brian and Jack were amazing and got the AC Replacement completed on the same day. NW Superior was very accommodating and fit us into their schedule for the replacement. Shoutout to Jack for his superior professionalism and staying over time to finish the job.

Responsive, courteous, clean, and knowledgeable! I was given repair and replacement options when my furnace quit during our latest cold snap, with pros and cons for each. There new unit I chose was installed perfectly and brought my home from frigid to cozy within a few hours. Thanks NW Superior Services!
