We had received a quote from another company and signed paperwork with them for business. They did not call us back after multiple attempts to have them take our business and our money. So in a panic I reached out to AWR; needless to say THANK GOODNESS WE DID! A very professional and knowledgeable man, Austin, came and 👏saved 👏 the 👏 day! He not only told us that the other quote was priced way too high, but they were charging us for products we did not even need. Austin explained everything so wonderfully and made us feel safe in our decision with switching. He and Jessica made it possible to do it through the holidays, while it was terrible snowing weather, and within less than a week! AWS was highly recommended by our plumber to mitigate water damage from a spray leak in our crawl space that also impacted flooring above. AWS was phenomenal from the very first call. Austin and Eric came out immediately to begin the water clean up + dry out process, and were a pleasure to work with. They were thorough, professional and always punctual. They came every day to check on the progress and make adjustments to ensure the job was done right. They always gave a time range for the next day, were flexible with our schedule and called when they were on their way. Our insurance agent, who received photos from the contractor, also commented that their work looked high-quality, including clean drywall cuts. We were very happy with AWS and especially with Austin and Eric who were wonderful. Thank you!

We have been impressed with the knowledge, and professionalism from Jim and everyone we have worked with at AWR. We have extensive water damage from a burst pipe in our upstairs laundry room, and AWR has navigated us through insurance conversations, and all of the difficulties with the issue we are having. I also wanted to shout out to Austin, and Eric who have done a great job. I would 100% recommend.

Jim sent the "A Team" to take care of my house after a pipe burst in my kitchen. Austin, Eric, and Tyrell were kind, respectful and performed their work on my home meticulously! I am so incredibly impressed by how professional this team is and how much it seems they truly care about my home, the animals within, and my overall satisfaction. I received a call each day with advanced notice that they'd be arriving, a clear explanation of the work they were performing, and they always cleaned up after themselves better than most any contractor I've seen. It is NEVER easy to go through emergencies like these, but I truly feel Jim and his team are handling me with kid gloves and making sure this uncomfortable situation is as low-stress as possible for me. I have nothing but good things to say about the team at AWR. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, patient (I had a LOT of questions), and professional. I saw Zack, Nick and Eric several times over the dry-out process. They always gave me a courtesy call when they were on their way and made a point of helping me understand everything they were doing while they were in our home. I hired AWR to do the rebuild of my bedroom after a leaky roof caused extensive damages. The were extremely responsive, professional and so easy to deal with. They took care of everything my insurance company needed to make payment and did a fantastic job on the rebuild. I highly recommend them.

Full disclosure: this is my personal experience with this business and the review is based on my opinion of what happened.

We had the unfortunate experience of a water heater busting and suddenly flooding our garage and then flooding into the house. I hope no one ever has to go through this experience, but I did want to express our gratitude to AWR and especially John! John came to our house within 40 minutes of calling and set up dehumidifiers and fans on a Saturday evening. I think the damage would have been much worse if he had not come out so quickly. They were great in communication, sent messages to let us know when they were on their way and also made sure to reach out to us each time they came to the house to give us updates and assessments of the situation. John did his best effort to minimize excessive removal of planking and walls, and because they came so early our walls were spared.

However, I was not happy and disappointed working with the financial department. They sent an invoice to the insurance for a final price and listed the price as “non negotiable.” After everything was submitted to insurance and insurance approved covering the cost, the finance department added an additional cost and charged a higher cost since they said they forgot to include the tax (which was an additional 500 dollars).

I felt it was unprofessional to send an invoice to me and the insurance that was “final and non negotiable” , have it accepted and covered by the insurance, and then turn around and say “sorry we forgot to include this cost” and then charge additional money to the price that they originally wrote was “non negotiable”. I wish their finance department did a better job the first time around because their mistake and error made going through insurance more burdensome , submitting more paperwork, negotiating with the insurance adjuster, explaining why the insurance needed to send more money because the first invoice was ‘“wrong” and the newer invoice was more expensive, etc. This is why I’m leaving a 2 star review. Had I not had this issue with finances, I would’ve said this was a 5 star experience.

Our dishwasher flooded our kitchen, and we called AWR based on their good reviews. They were great! Jim was very helpful and patient in walking us through the process. Eric and Austin were also great - always called ahead, always showed up on time, and were always professional. Having your dishwasher explode is not fun, but these guys made it less stressful and feel more manageable. Thank you!

After a toilet wax seal gave way causing water damage, AWR did a great job eliminating the water damage and cleaning up afterwards. I 100% recommend AWR Restoration and cleaning. Lamar and Brian are great guys and kept me updated every step of the way.

We had a potential water and mold issue with a rental house we own. The tenant had complained of a moldy smell and dampness in the bathroom wall. AWR restoration, Lamar specifically, came promptly to do the inspection. Lamar was beyond professional and efficient. Our tenant is particularly difficult and he handled himself with distinction. it turned out the the dampness was caused, not by a leak, but by overzealous, cleaning by the tenant. Lamar, was very tactful in the way he explained how her overcleaning had caused the issue.
The repair of the wall still needs to be done. We have met Dwayne, also from AWR, who will be doing that repair. And so far, he is living up to the same level of expertise and professionalism that Lamar showed.

This is an update to my previous post. The repair work was completed yesterday. The team did exemplary work. They arrived on time and worked to complete the repairs in a day. The team made a concerted effort to work around a very difficult tenant. As before, they were all professional, friendly and knew what they were doing.
Ths team consisted of Dwayne, Lamar, Robert, Adrian and Miguel. I hope I didn't leave anyone out because they were all great.

I can't review the cost as this was an insurance issue and I haven't seen the cost yet.

Great company to work with. I had a sizable project and they responded same day, and got the project done quickly in the days that followed. Good attention to detail and even helped with a few small unrelated things while they were here. Good communication, quality, and timing are hard to find!
