I needed a second opinion. Cardinal got Luis out to us the same day. He was polite, and gave us exactly the information we needed in a manner that instilled confidence unlike previous guy. Admittedly a limited encounter but overall a great experience. Will definitely use Cardinal again next time something comes up.

Great experience from start to finish. Customer service (Rheanna) was terrific and scheduling was easy. Technician (Vitali) was professional and offered helpful advice. Will definitely use Cardinal again.

Skylar did an awesome job in cleaning our base board heaters which were filled with all sorts of debris, primarily from past construction. Fast yet efficient for the rental property that we live in. Which is great because I am suffering from serious hay fever/allergy symptoms! There is no job to big or small! They get the job done! Great job communicating with me about the condition of the heaters and a way forward. Skylar was on time and if there was a shift is his schedule due to emergency he communicated that with me well in advice! 10/10 in my book! Thank you from a “stretched to thin” and overwhelmed mother of a newborn and toddler!

At the first preliminary service call to evaluate and diagnose our system in a commercial space with heating and a/c the tech discovered a filter that had been lodged inside the system where it shouldn’t have been. It had been there since the system was installed! 15 years. Even with an other company servicing the system. Removing it freed up the airflow and solved one of the issues. A comprehensive list of near future and further out repairs was written up with ballpark pricing.
Personable tech and admin staff. Excellent work! Looking forward to seeing a Preventative Maintenance Agreement with Cardinal. -
Tim was very knowledgeable about Wine Cooling Systems and rapidly diagnosed the issue and implemented the remedy. Additionally he has recommended specific follow up monitoring and checking for possible leaks.
He was both friendly and professional.
Highly recommend he and Cardinal. -
Brandon is awesome, and we’ve been using Cardinal since 2014 for our new work and old work on our radiant system and euro boiler. They are fabulous every time they are on site.

2025 update Cardinale Heating and Air USED to be great. The business was sold. Now I hate interacting with the company. They DONT answer a phone and advertise 24 hours 7 days but they are not.
Now an AI machine answers and you can’t bypass to get to a “live agent” or anyone who works for the company. It takes your contact information and then you wait for a call back. I’ve been waiting a couple days.
Last week I was able to get a call back by sending an email and asking for one.
It’s infuriating.
As for homes with complex Boiler Systems be aware Cardinal used to be great for Boilers. BUT When they sold a bunch of their tech all left and went to different companies in the region.
It’s NOT defamation when everything I posted is true. I suggest management get rid of the damn AI answering machine. -
Mike arrived right on time and was very detail-oriented throughout the job. The price was agreed upon beforehand, and there were no surprises. The work was completed just as we expected, and furnace is running smoothly. We appreciate Mike professionalism and reliability - highly recommended!

Good communication from the service tech on day of appointment. He showed up on time and communicated very well. He was upfront and completed around the anticipated time. We did not have any other repairs needed outside the service of two units in our unit. Pricing was competitive for HVAC maintenance and service. We didn’t have any additional repairs needed or recommended.

This company was recommended by my realtor. Thankfully my problem with my heating system was easily solved. I still had a great experience with my Cardinal technician. He was professional and on time. He went through each part of my heating system to make sure it was all working. I would use this company again.

TLDR: They need to get rid of their Virtual Assistant messaging. Longer version: I've used Cardinal for routine furnace maintenance and have previously loved their service. However, sometime in the past year, they implemented a virtual assistant to answer their phone calls. Every time I call, I get routed to a virtual assistant who want you to give her all of your information so she can take a message and have someone call you back. Name? Phone number? Address? Email? What is the issue? What message do you want to leave? I can't get through to a person no matter what I do. Specifically, I tried calling again today because our thermostat died (at least I think its the thermostat, but it could be the furnace). I need to have it looked at ASAP. I left two different messages and still no one has called me back. I'm done. I called All Climate and they answered the phone and have me schedule for a technician to visit in a few hours. So, in the end, I will not be returning to Cardinal unless they go back to real customer service. Extremely dissapointed.

We had Cardinal's Tech Ivan come out to do our annual furnace maintenance. He was very detailed and took the time to explain the work we need to have done so I could understand it. We will be using Cardinal again, both for the needed repair and for our future furnace maintenance.

I scheduled a routine gas furnace tune-up expecting a straightforward inspection. Instead, I was hit with a shocking $14,000 estimate for a list of supposed issues. What made it worse was the aggressive upselling tactics that followed.
After the technician completed the tune-up (without mentioning any gas leak), a sales rep showed up and immediately claimed he smelled gas, using it as a scare tactic to push expensive upgrades and replacements. The technician hadn’t flagged this, and there were no signs of a leak. It felt manipulative and designed to pressure me into a major purchase I wasn’t prepared for.
I arranged for a different vendor to perform another inspeccion to get a second opinion, and surprise, surprise... they didnt find any of the issues or recommended expensive repairs or a full furnace replacement that Cardinal Heating & Air was pushing for.
The whole experience left me feeling uneasy and mistrustful. I called for maintenance, not a high-pressure sales pitch. If you're looking for honest service and transparent diagnostics, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. -
Good and reliable company, skilled workers. The tech, Luis, very nice, professional and punctual. Will follow-up with you most of the time. I appreciated that the office people stayed on top of things throughoutthe entire project.

As someone who comes from a family and professional background where customer service is not just a value but a legacy, I was appalled by the treatment I received from Cardinal Heating. A Technician was scheduled to come to my home, but they never arrived. There was no call, no update, and not even a courtesy follow-up. When I reached out to the office after several attempts without speaking to a live person, I eventually called back for the fourth time and connected with a representative named Nikki. She identified herself as the manager. Her tone was dismissive, her attitude indifferent, and she offered nothing but excuses. It was as if she had better things to do than actually resolve a paying customer's issues. For someone in a leadership position, the complete lack of accountability was both unprofessional and unacceptable. This level of indifference from a management role is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I've yet to hear back from the general manager, as I have heard from reliable sources that this company currently does not have an active general manager. It makes more sense now. After my experience, this is no surprise, another red flag in what's clearly a company spiraling in customer care. It's also no surprise that Cardinal Heating removed its Google review page, a clear attempt to suppress real feedback and manage its PR through more controlled platforms, such as Yelp. I will no longer refer or recommend Cardinal Heating to anyone in my circle, and based on this experience, I strongly suggest that others look elsewhere as well.

I have used Cardinal H & A for several years for annual maintenance of my two home furnaces. Their technicians have all been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in my understanding of any issues with my equipment. That includes Luis, the one that came for this year's inspection. One of my furnaces was over 20 years old and Luis identified some problems that could involve optional repairs. He clearly described my options, the cost of repair and and an estimated cost of complete replacement. As with all of Cardinal's technicians, he was competent, friendly and eager to make sure I understood the issues with an older furnace and help me make a decision to repair or replace. An important point here is that he helped me differentiate between which repair needs were just mechanical and which were safety issues. I chose to "give the old furnace a chance at one more year." One of its components failed a couple of weeks later due to age and wear. Luis arrived the next day, assessed the problem and I chose to replace the furnace. He immediately scheduled a consultation with their estimator who came out and gave me a quote on a new furnace the next day. After evaluating other supplier options, I had Cardinal install a new furnace which they did 2 days later. So, I noticed failure on Tuesday morning, Cardinal assessed the problem on Wednesday and I had a new furnace up and running on Friday afternoon. It's hard to ask for more than that. Luis was a major part of making that happen.

Not a fan. The technician was amazing. But I basically paid $300 to $400 to have somebody come out and then nothing was fixed. They ordered the part, but your company up charged the part four times what I would pay if I just ordered it from the manufacturer. Of course it’s not including paying the technician again to come out and install it.
It was actually cheaper for me to just order the part myself and hire an electrician to come out and put it in.
Four times what the part costs…. That seems excessive. I’m very disappointed in this. -
We had an amazing experience with Cardinal heating from start to finish. Michael came out to diagnose the issue with our 19 year old furnace . He was very thorough and offered options to replace parts but ultimately we decided to replace . He sent sales person out within the hour who spent 2 hours evaluating and looking at everything including our crawl space . Eric provided multiple options for furnace replacement and offered competitive pricing. The install was scheduled within 2 days as we needed the new furnace asap. The install team was incredible . Arrived on time at 8am and completed by 3pm. Manny explained all work done and was extremely thorough and did a great job. Would highly recommend Cardinal for your furnace needs!

I wanted to provide an update regarding the installation by Cardinal Heating. After several phone calls, I am pleased to report that the installation was finally fixed and completed on December 5th. The technicians who carried out the work were indeed very skilled and did an excellent job with the installation.
However, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to the office communications. Clearer and more transparent communication about scheduling would greatly enhance the customer experience.

The installation process, which began in September, took multiple days due to several issues. Initially, the wrong size part was brought on the first day, necessitating a second visit. During this follow-up visit, another part was found to be the wrong size, which resulted in yet another visit. Finally, just when I thought everything was completed, I was informed that the air surface purification system was not working and promised that someone would come back to fix it.
Unfortunately, it is now November, and no one has come to resolve the issue. I have called three times and written to them once to schedule the repair, but each time I was transferred to a voicemail and ignored and have yet to receive a response. While I agree that they are excellent for annual service, my recent experience has left me quite disappointed. -
Aaron was terrific. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our heat pump and, although we were sad to learn that we have to replace it, we have great confidence that he was steering us in the right direction. They were also incredibly prompt; Aaron arrived at our home less than two hours after I called And we were able to set up a call the next day to learn our options for replacement. I recommend cardinal highly!

Please please be warned! Customer service is not a concern with Cardinal Heating & Air. I am not sure if service is a concern either. This definitely how one should NOT run a business. Here is why I claim all of these:
A month ago I had Cardinal come and fix my Furnace. They changed the capacitor on furnace. They charged me $200 for a part that I later found out was $12. A month later I had the same issue that they had fixed. They sent a different Technician. When I mentioned that he should check the capacitor he said that couldn't be the issue and refused to check it. Anyway he later determined that it was the control board that was bad and needed to be replaced. He did not have the part nor the price for me. He told me the office will reach out the day after with a Quote and time line AND charged me for his visit. Two days later they have yet to reach out. I called them 3 times and their customer service told me they are busy!!!!! The only thing the customer service was going to do was to tell them that I called. How nice of them.... Mind you there is not direct number you can call anyone anymore. So I sent them a massage through their website. No WORD so far. Here I am in my house with no heat. Three days has past and no respond, no call, no service!
I promise this review will not get a respond either! I guess because they are BUSY??? Not sure what they are busy for? But they don't have to worry! One day they will not be busy! People will not care to do business with them. Zero Customer service, High prices and Zero results with zero follow ups!
