Alex and his son are probably one of the top contractors I have worked with. They are on-time, professional and personable. They completed a retaining wall project when I was on a work trip, and it is beyond my expectation. I trust this company 100%. Alex has great communication and always sends me updates on how’s the project is going. They also fixed a sprinkle pipe that broke, and I really appreciate them doing these small extra things. He is very thorough on his estimate and really takes time to understand his customer vision. Fair quote for what needed to be done. I’m happy to recommend their services.

Already talking about the next project I want Outdoor Works to do for me! Alex and his crew transformed my front yard. They removed a failing retaining wall and installed new stairs and two tiers of walls as well as installing yard drainage. I am thrilled with the work they did! Highly recommend Outdoor Works!

There are few times in life where I have walked away from an estimate traumatized. This is one of them.

I had asked Alex for an estimate for a project in November and for his opinion on fixing a previous contractors work. I needed his opinion because he was so well regarded. We didn’t use his services back then. The previous contractors admitted their mistake, fixed the project.

I asked him to come over for his previous quote and gave new details and that it’s a bit different. We texted details and pictures and asked him if he’d like to meet again, he agreed.

He came over and I was home alone with my puppy. I had my partner on the phone and he had done a lot of research on this and asked a lot of great detailed questions. My partner had just asked how many people will be working on the project when Alex said ‘I’m done, this is ridiculous’ and started walking out. I was confused and asked what’s ridiculous? And Alex responded, ‘you guys are ridiculous’ and continued to storm out. I asked him to wait so I can restrain my puppy and he didn’t listen and continued to open the door and leave.

As a home owner and a business owner, there are a million reasons why someone isn’t a good fit for you or things you disagree with. Respect shouldn’t go out the window. A simple conversation of the misunderstanding or him communicating frustration over something would have sufficed. He could have simply noted the previous quote is outdated.

If you’re invited into someone’s home and you accept that invitation, rude walk outs and labeling someone ‘ridiculous’ is what is in fact, utterly ridiculous.

Outdoor works installed a large irrigation system and completed some work that a previous landscaper could not finish. Alex and his Team were nothing short of outstanding. Professional high quality work with very fair prices. If your looking for landscape projects to be done at your place, Outdoor works is a excellent choice

Outdoor Works Landscape Services is top-notch! They are exceptionally experienced in all phases of design, and implementation of yard issues. Alex first provided a complete walkway from my driveway clear to the back of my yard which required removal of a long concrete piece. Then about 2 years later he/they tore out my whole front yard and reseeded it plus designed a front rock riverbed including featured larger rocks and plants. My admiration for this company could not be higher. Excellent level of integrity, communication, pricing and honesty! ✅👍

I have had the opportunity to work with Alex and his son multiple times over the past several years as I have done my yard in stages. From retaining wall, paver paths, flower garden areas, vegetable garden area, and gas fire pit. The work has been outstanding. I have let him go with his ideas and am amazed at the outcome. They have also solved several sprinkler areas and repairs.

Alex and son are amazing! We started our first project with them after we bought our house in 2018 where he pulled out and replaced the previous deck with pavers and a retaining wall. Their work is so good that we have continued to use them for 4 additional projects over the years (more walls and walkpaths, complete new front and backyard, replaced sprinkler system, front yard retaining wall, new fencing). They are so patient with all of our changes! I would highly recommend Alex for any project - communicative, competitive pricing, easy to work with, efficient and so professional.

Booked Alex and his son for a one-time landscaping/clean-up job before moving out of our house and they did amazing! They were friendly, communicative, responsive, and they did a very thorough job, especially for how affordable it was. Would definitely hire them again!
