Within minutes of meeting us, he became condescending when I asked about wood rot prevention—then left when I wanted details on gravel types and his process.

Talent means nothing when contractors abandon projects over basic homeowner questions.

We provided detailed project information the day before our consultation, which you reviewed and agreed to discuss. Yet you walked out after 3 minutes when I asked basic questions about materials and drainage. Your erratic behavior in our home caused my wife genuine fear for her safety while she was alone with you.
You lost two potential clients today - our neighbor also witnessed your unprofessional conduct. Professional contractors welcome detailed discussions, especially when they’ve already reviewed the project details. They also do not make women feel unsafe in their own homes.

Alex and team were extremely helpful in helping us fix our irrigation system. They provided multiple options, were extremely flexible, and ensured they checked every part of the install to find the most cost effective solution. We spent less money than originally planned!

We have completed three different projects with Outdoor Works, including a patio, gas fire pit, a retaining wall, outdoor lighting, moving a fence, adding a walkway, and adding a parking pad. Everything they do is top notch. Communication is excellent and the work is meticulous. I could flood this review with glamour shots, but instead I am going to share the one little section that brings me joy. OW had to navigate a tight walkway that included a column and an elevation change next to my house. The curve and the slope turned out beautifully. It feels so natural. They took a trouble spot and turned it into one of my favorite details. The OW pride in their work shows in everything they do.

I had such a great experience working with Alex and his son Jon from Outdoor Works LLC. They built a beautiful patio out of pavers for me and also redid my dog run, including building a new fence. I got several estimates before deciding, and theirs was the most reasonable — and I’m so glad I chose them!

They were wonderful to work with: kind, pleasant, and very communicative (mostly over text, which made everything super easy). They left my yard in better shape than it was before they started (even the places they weren’t working on) and went above and beyond with their creativity and attention to aesthetics.

I really appreciate how Alex takes into consideration the existing design and colors of the house and uses his many years of experience to create something that adds on to the value of what is already there. He answered all my questions and had lots of great ideas

This was a complex project, paving over a 20 year old concrete koi pond. He and his son worked quickly but with care and precision. Everyday they went above and beyond. I am blown away by how good it looks and could not be happier!!

I had an amazing experience working with Alex and his team on a recent backyard project. They excavated an area in my yard and created a beautiful, spacious fire pit area that exceeded my expectations. As a last-minute add-on, they also poured some cement, and I truly appreciated their flexibility in accommodating the change.

Alex was always on time, easy to communicate with, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. He consistently checked in to make sure I was happy with each step and welcomed my input, which made the experience feel collaborative and stress-free.

Alex and his son did an amazing job with our yard! From the initial meeting through the completion of the job, Alex was fantastic in communicating daily updates. They provided irrigation installation, lawn dig up and re-seed, and gravel installation. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the process and the price was beyond reasonable after gaining quotes from various contractors. I will continue to use them for all of my landscaping needs here in Lakewood!

Sheila and I initially contacted Outdoor Works LLC about a sprinkler system. We were tired of having dead grass and an ugly yard. What happened next was a divine intervention. Alex arrived in a truck that listed everything they could do. In that instant, I knew it was time to put our long dormant plan into action. I laid out our ideas to Alex, and never imagined what they would ultimately become. To say that we are happy would be an understatement.

WE ARE ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH OUR TRANSFORMATION!
