I had my natural gas water heater replaced by ProMax. Evan was great to work with via email, text and yelp. He was quick with responses and didn't push sales tactics. The install by Owen was clean and timely. ProMax charged exactly what they quoted and their quote was very resonable!

I have never left a review, but after my experience with ProMax it just felt like the right thing to do. I had a leaking water tank and needed it replaced. Like most, I went online and searched businesses in my area. Of course the sponsored ads popped up first. I try not to just click on those. I found ProMax about half way down. Their website makes it super easy. I messaged them stating my problem. I received a prompt response. I was asked to send a few more pictures which I did, a bid was sent to me shortly after. I did also get another bid from a bigger well known company. I went with ProMax not only because they were cheaper, but they were more prompt and easier to deal with from the start. They arrived on time at 9am the next day. I appreciate how they Respected my home and put down carpet protection right away. The Job was done in the time they said. Come to find out, it’s a small company of 3 people based locally in Monroe, WA. The owner, Max was one of the guys that helped install my tank. Unlike three other well known plumbing companies in the area, ProMax actually provided me several different options for replacing my hot water system, and walked me through the pros and cons of each. They actually - unlike the others - took care to explain why the most expensive option was probably overkill. We needed a new system that would support our radiant heat flooring as well as domestic hot water, and the team put together a great plan that worked out perfectly. Easy to schedule with. Very neat, organized and professional. Highly recommend.

Evan an Owen were very professional as well as friendly. They Evan made sure carpets and such were well protected. They came in did the job in a timely manner cleaned everything you would never know they were there. Evan explained all about my new water heater and answered all my questions. What a gem of an experience! Our water heater failed and within minutes I was speaking with Todd at ProMax going through options. They were able to fit us in the very next morning. Owen was the installer and he was professional, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job removing the old system and putting in a new Bradford White heater. Fantastic company. Had got a quote for a new water heater a while ago from them but decided to hold off. Water heater went out unexpectedly and they were able to fit us in that day to get us back with hot water. Both plumbers that showed up were very courteous and the pricing was great. Working with both Evan and Todd provided seamless experience of replacing an existing gas fired water heater with a SANCO2 external heat pump water heater.

This required a lot of new plumbing runs and cleanup of the existing water heater. They also did an excellent job of working with the electrical contractor.

The quality of the workmanship was top-notch and I would easily recommend them to others for their plumbing and water heater installation.

I can't recommend ProMax enough. We had a water heater leak on a Saturday that overflowed the bottom pan, creating a decent mess. I called ProMax and spoke with Evan, who assured me that they could come out the same day if needed. After sending a couple of pictures of the water heater, I received an upfront quote before any work was started.

Evan arrived promptly and replaced the water heater in just a few hours, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. He was a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job. Not only did he complete the work efficiently, but he also cleaned up everything afterward. The service also came with a three-year warranty for any future issues with the water heater.

I highly recommend ProMax Water Heaters & Plumbing if you need a water heater replaced. Evan and Owen are superb technicians and very polite and professional in their dealings with us. ProMax responded quickly with a competitive bid (not the cheapest, not the most expensive) and a same-day service time slot. They arrived on time, responded effectively to an unexpected issue, and completed the job promptly. My spouse, who works from home, worked with Owen and Evan and commented on how pleasant they were to work with. I was very pleased with ProMax and highly recommend them. As of this writing, we are waiting for ProMax to return and adjust our water heater's output water temperature. Our temperature dial is set to very hot (we adjusted it to this setting because our hot water temperature after installation was 110 degrees), and our current hot water temperature is 115 degrees. On 5/19/2025, ProMax returned to make adjustments to our water heater to increase the hot water temperature.

ProMax installed our new tankless water heater last month. I liked Evan’s work on that project so much I hired him to move all the water lines and plumbing so we could relocate our washer and dryer to a different part of the basement. Another outstanding job! If you’re looking for a high quality install for a reasonable price, ProMax is the way to go.
