They have fair and reasonable prices and they'll give a basic estimate over the phone, which I really appreciate. A few things came up on their schedule, but they were able to make it over to our place in the afternoon. This was great because if they didn't make it that day, i would have need to wait until December. They're friendly and courteous even after a long work day. Mark and his colleague made my wife and niece feel very comfortable. They came to put in a bathroom sink. Unfortunately, I picked up the wrong size sink. They gave me many options and where I could get a similar sink. In the end, they were able to switch out the faucet so that the sink will be usable at the very least. I am very happy with the work and appreciate all their help. I will definately call them again in the future.

My 18 year old tankless propane heater started leaking. I elected to replace it rather than attempting to get parts to repair. Black Lake Plumbing was able to replace same day. While I am pleased with the quality of the service, the price was less than competitive. The estimated cost upfront is provided as one number. No breakdown of costs for the replacement unit & labor. My bill was $5700 plus tax. After researching the tankless heater they installed, I found they retail for around $2000, so my service call & install that took about 4 hours cost me $3700. Unfortunately I had no time to shop around since I was leaving on a work trip & my wife had the flu so couldn’t leave her without hot water. Moral of the story, I feel like I got hammered on the price since I needed the job done same day.

I had a great experience with Chris of Black Lake Plumbing. Olympia utilities indicated I had a continuous leak and Chris explained the process to track it down and scheduled an appointment. I went outside and luckily found the leak and called back Chris to describe the issue. He advised me on what needed to happen and that I should actually contact irrigation/landscaping specialists, as they would be more cost-effective than a plumber. He declined any offer of payment for his time and only asked that I keep Black Lake Plumbing in mind for my next plumbing need. It was a refreshing experience and I appreciated the honest advice. I'll definitely be calling back when I need plumbing services!

I had a fantastic experience with Black Lake Plumbing. There was water leak under the building in my office and they were able to fit me into their schedule the following morning after my call. They located and fixed the leak and had us back up and going in an hours' time. The gentlemen were very professional and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend.

We had a gas hot water tank after 20+ years leak and called black lake plumbing. What a great team. Called midday got a prompt response then showed up first thing in the morning got right to work replacing it. Sean is dynamic!! They know what they’re doing. Price was better than I expected and they are so respectful of your home and just good people. Definitely have my future business.

The technician was here about 15 minutes! He put in a new garbage disposal and cleaned up and he was done! Fast, clean and fixed. I wasn’t a fan of the price but who is anyway? More good news? They scheduled for the next day when I called. Overall we highly recommend this company! Second call in one week. Had to wait a couple of days but worth the wait. Again fast but thorough. Professional and skilled. Oh this time the toilet. Even more endourcement!

My call was returned promptly (in less than 30 min!), they were able to fit me in the same day, and upon finding an unexpected issue with another plumbing fixture, they were able to take the time to fix that, too! Ed and Tom were fantastic. They were respectful of my home, extremely knowledgeable and even took the time to educate me on some things (I'm a new homeowner). They didn't mind me asking questions which was very kind and helpful. I'm so glad they were recommended to me and that my home didn't flood thanks to others negligence! Black Lake will be my go to from now on. All around excellent experience!

Today was the second time I used Black Lake Plumbing. The first time was back in March. They replaced one toilet. Today I had the other two toilets replaced. Sean and Mark add showed up early and were done and cleaned up completely in about 75 minutes. When I set this appointment up I asked for Sean. He brought Mark along with him this time. I couldn’t be happier with everything. If I ever need more plumbing work I will most definitely use this company again. Highly recommended!

I had these guys install some gas lines at my home in Shelton. I called at least 3 other plumbing companies and these guys were the most responsive. The bid was provided promptly, the work was scheduled and the workers arrived on time and worked and a very professional manner. I even had some further assistance needed after the lines were installed to make sure i had the right connection going to my fireplace and they went out of their way to make sure i was taken care of. Highly recommended.

Been using Black Lake for nearly 3 years now - rehabbing an old cabin on Puget Sound that we bought and it needed a lot of help. Chris and crew have been good to view and recommend things, give fair quotes, and are prompt to ensure our needs are taken care of. Sean & Mark are great plumbers, show up when they say they will, fix and install things right. Today was finish day for our new kitchen - hooked up sink, faucet, dishwasher and a month without made us appreciate their skills. I contacted Black Lake Plumbing for some small residential plumbing repairs and installation of a home well-water filtration system in Rochester. Chris the owner spent the entire day installing the water filtration system I purchased online to include adding pipes under the home to ensure the system performed properly. When he realized the pre-filter provided with the system was inadequate, he drove back to Olympia to purchase the correct pre-filters for the system. He was incredibly meticulous and ensured the system was properly installed. His customer service and thoroughness were incredible and greatly appreciated. He is also a big supporter of Veterans which I also greatly appreciated. He did such a great job that I have already contracted him to do some more work at our home. II recently had Black Lake Plumbing come out to repair a water leak near the water meter in front of my house. This leak had been causing me hefty water bills for the past three months, and I hadn’t even realized it until a professional leak detection company helped me identify the issue. Once I knew about the problem, I contacted Black Lake Plumbing, and they were quick to respond.

The team did an excellent job with the repair. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. They did an excellent job and explained in detail the work performed — Ed & Tom are very knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. I appreciated their expertise and attention to detail in resolving the issue that had been causing as well as costing me so much.

While they’re a bit on the pricier side, you definitely get what you pay for with Black Lake Plumbing. The only reason this is a four-star review instead of five is that "they don’t offer Veterans Discounts", which would have been a nice gesture. Despite that, the quality of their work made it well worth the cost. Overall, I would highly recommend Black Lake Plumbing for anyone in need of reliable plumbing services in the Olympia area. It was well worth it!

I called Black Lake Plumbing because I had some kind of leak happening in my bathroom surrounding my toilet and I didn't know the exact cause. Chris was able to fit me in within a few days and came over to assess the problem. I ended up needing a new toilet and he installed that for me same day. The customer service was amazing, and the pricing was good as well. I will definitely call them for future plumbing issues! Thank you guys!
