Not only did Robert help us with the installation of these, he also patiently helped us understand the different types of products, pros and cons of each. This helped us reach an informed decision on the products. Once we chose the furnace and the water heater, his team came the very next business day, 8:30 sharp and installed them in a professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend their services.

A friendly and honest company! Our furnace was 25 years old, so we were looking to replace it. Rob came to our condo and was down-to-earth, kind, and helpful. He told us about some of the work he did to other units in our neighbourhood and recommended some models of furnaces that would fit our needs. He did not attempt to up-sell us or perform a lengthy sales pitch (unlike a different company tried to do). He took the time to answer all our questions about furnaces and the specific models we were looking at.

The furnace installation happened very soon after we picked our furnace model. The crew that came to install the furnace were friendly and did a great job. They took the time to go over our newly installed furnace and answer any questions we had.

We are definitely going to use this company in the future for maintenance and repairs.

My furnace was old, made a lot of noise and barely heated up my house so I decided to replace it. But I had zero idea about furnace and I asked for a quote from several heating companies, but Rob’s(Overlake Heating) responses provided more than a simple quote: he carefully responded all the questions I asked in addition to a quote.

Specifically, at that time, I had little idea about what furnace would be ideal for my house. I asked a lot of questions such as types of furnace, energy efficiency, pros and cons of different manufacturers, etc. Rob kindly answered every question I gave him. He has a lot of knowledge and provided me with crucial information about what I needed to know. And then he helped me build my own furnace based on that.

On the day of installation, his team showed up on time. They explained how the job would be conducted before it started. After installation, Rob also provided several tips for how to maintain my brand-new furnace. Their work was clean and flawless. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the work. They were amazing!

We had our old gas furnace replaced with a high efficiency one by Overlake Heating. Their pricing was VERY competitive and everything went smoothly. Talking to several contractors, we had been getting advice all over the place on what the best option for our house would be. Robert took the time to talk us through options multiple times, explained all implications, responded to questions right away, and was very patient while we waffled about what to do. :) We originally reached out asking about a much more expensive heat pump setup, and Robert called out several concerns with our old split level's layout and insulation which would have affected its effectiveness. He suggested some options that would work better for us even as they were much less expensive than what we were originally looking at. We're very happy to have gone this path and will definitely call Overlake again when we're ready to get some cooling set up. Absolutely recommended!

I have used Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning in the past for furnace and air conditioning maintenance and they were excellent. However, I did not realize how amazing they are until my hot water tank went out. They understand the importance of a hot shower and scheduled to replace my tank faster than I could have hoped for. Extremely responsive and very reasonably priced, I would never look anywhere else. Thanks to Robert and Patty for expediting my service!!!

They came out on a Sunday and replaced the bad capacitor on my AC unit to get it back up and running on a relatively hot day (85F+) to save me another warm night of loud fan noise. Showed up on time, quick professional service. Worth it!

We’ve used Overlake for an A/C installation last year, and more recently a new furnace and were super happy with both experiences! They were quick to fit us in, painless installs, and Bob is very responsive whenever we reach out with questions. Will continue to use them for any future needs.

Not a good partner for comprehensive needs; they are very selective about what services they will do. I have a basic A/C unit needing to be replaced connected to a furnace located in an attic (not uncommon, home built in 2005). They immediately state they will not ever go into attics, too hot. So just complete abandonment, no intent whatsoever to solution the problem. Not trustworthy as your primary partner due to this approach.

+Update: 2.5 Years Later – Still Excellent!

Everything has been working flawlessly since installation! One night, we thought one of the units wasn’t working, so we emailed Rob’s team late at night. To our surprise, they had a technician scheduled to visit first thing the next morning—within 15 hours!

Turns out, we weren’t using the unit correctly, and the technician patiently walked us through how to operate it properly. Now it works perfectly! The visit was covered under warranty, even though it was likely our mistake. Rob’s team was incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive. Highly recommend!

Overlake Heating recently replaced both my furnace and my hot water heater. The service they provided was simply exceptional. The owner, Rob, actually spent 1.5 hours on the phone at no charge before I even decided whether to go with Overlake. He helped me understand the problems with my old furnace, and walked me through the process of selecting a new one. He is a true expert! The team that came out to do the work (Spence, Steve, and Ben) was extremely professional and I was so impressed by their attention to detail. We used Overlake Heating for the replacement of a heat pump and was so impressed with the quality of work and ease of the entire project. We began by working with Robert to find the right heat pump unit for our needs, which was very easy. He is extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond and went over and beyond. Once our unit was picked, the three teams that came out on installation day were seamless, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honestly seemed to enjoy their work. I'm always a bit nervous with large purchases like this, but I feel like we went with the right company and we will be recommending Overlake Heating to others and will use the company again for future services.

We had another HVAC company perform an annual inspection of our furnace. The furnace was working perfect before they arrived and it was not working after they "inspected" it. They had to return multiple times because the furnace kept failing in the deep Feb cold spell. Each time they showed up without repairing it, they charges us lots of money for nothing. I finally gave up and contacted Overlake Heating & Air Condition after a friend recommended Overlake. Overtake arrived quickly and immediately identified the fault. They also performed a thorough evaluation and inspection of the furnace. I am very impressed with Overtake and will trust them to maintain our Furnace and Air Conditioner.

Our 29yr old gas furnace died in the middle of winter so we called around for quotes to replace it. We called Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning based on our neighbor's recommendation and their great reviews...Rob provided detailed options with pros/cons and perhaps most importantly there was no attempt to upsell. Their two techs (JP and Griffin) arrived a couple of days later and spent 6hrs straight installing our furnace. Super professional with honest upfront pricing. Highly recommend.

Our furnace went out on a Friday night. We called Overlake, and Robert called us right back. He did a quick diagnosis over the phone, and arranged to have his rep at our home the next morning. Brian showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, given the age of our furnace, a replacement was the best option. Worked with Overlake for my regular HVAC tune up. The technician, Matthew, is friendly, straightforward, and efficient. Finished cleaning, capacitor replacement, and ignitor replacement in 45 minutes. Clear assessment, no hassle, and no sudden upsells.

On top of the technician, the coordination gentleman (sorry I forget his name) is efficient and polite. Never waited more than 30 seconds to get a phone call.

Overlake Heating recently installed a tank-less water heater for us and I wanted to share our positive experience with them.

Every aspect of the purchase/service was far above expectations after a disappointing dozen or so years of service from some of the big name HVAC firms in the Puget Sound area.

The bid-process/pre-sales support from Rob was great. He was able to bid the job based on photos and emails and didn't require a site visit. He was prompt in replying to my emails and patient and helpful in answering questions without an ounce of sales pressure. He recommended two equivalent models from two brands, and quoted an amount that was significantly less than the other bids we received from the same disappointing companies we've settled for in the past.

The installers (Jorgen and J.P.) arrived on time, worked efficiently, did a very thorough & professional install and cleaned up thoroughly before they left.

When we had some trouble registering the water heater with the manufacturer, Patty replied promptly (after hours I might add) to make sure we could complete the product registration and enable the manufacturer's mobile monitoring & management application.

I really wish I had called Overlake years ago and saved some time and money on previous sales and service, like buying a new furnace, having A/C installed, damper replacements etc.

Go ahead, do your due diligence, call the big names that claim to do everything from plumbing, electrical, HVAC, & event catering, (you know, the ones with lots of new logo'd trucks everywhere) and get a quote from them too -- and then go with Overlake. You won't regret it.

All Climate was the only one of six different companies we had out who came up with a creative solution for providing AC to the upstairs of our 100 year-old home with very little wall space. They were great every step of the way. Very responsive even with a few minor things post installation. We love our new heat pump and mini split!
