I asked for a very specific connection to ground. Cadweld or irreversible compression. He never said he did not have the appropriate tools to do the connection as we asked. He did a split bolt connection.

We figured it was a mistake and asked him to come do one of the other options we had requested (in writing). He said he did not have the tools to do so. I asked why he took the job if he couldn’t complete it. He said he assumed all we wanted was something up to code. Nowhere did I ask for a job that was up to code. I asked for those specific connections, in writing.

This electrician breached the scope of services agreement we agreed upon, and is now refusing to undo the work and provide a refund, hiding behind ‘it’s up to code’

Unfortunately will have to pursue in small claims court and a complaint with the Labor & Industries department.

It’s a shame as they seemed so nice at first. Don’t let it fool you!

Bogden answered a late night service call on a weekend when other providers claiming to provide 24 hour emergency service failed to answer their phones. He did a through troubleshooting of the issue, identified the problem and made the appropriate repairs. He was personable, friendly and willing to answer all of our questions. He will be our new electrician moving forward

I contacted Gulchuk Electric about a month ago, when I had a small job that required a quick response. They were here in less than 30 minutes after my call -- very responsive. Then we had a major job (replacement of two residential electrical service panels [51 years old and 37 years old]). The Gulchuk crew was again very responsive on this task as well and did a fine job. They were knowledgable and very helpful during this project. They were careful to make sure everything was right before leaving.They also had a good relationship with the City of Richland inspectors. I would highly recommend them for electrical needs.

I am so happy with the service I was given. They were efficient and very clearly knowledgeable. Also Bogdan and his team were super polite. Okay service, staff looks at me like they have no idea what I'm asking for sometimes. The prices are quite high but they do have free soft serve ice creme for customers.

This company blew up on of our panels from miswiring the main panel feeding it. Ended up running 208v to one leg and blew all the GFCIs.

Employees are dangerous drivers! I've seen a few driving poorly in the past but let it slide until today. I was northbound on 17 in a semi behind another vehicle, we were doing about 63 to 65 and the speed limit is 60. A Garrett electric van with license numbers 47852 flew up behind me and passed both of us doing at least 75 not to mention passed on double yellow lines. Absolute disregard for everyone's safety.
