My experience working with Jordyn was ultimately unprofessional from start to finish.

Our first appointment with Jordyn was scheduled for Nov. 5 and she canceled it the morning of the appointment. I immediately emailed to reschedule and received no response. After following up again on Nov. 25, I was told the project could not start until 2026. After that, there was essentially no communication from her.

Jordyn had also requested a full house measurement for our bathroom renovation project. After later working with another designer, we were told that level of measurement was unnecessary and excessive for the scope of the project. Despite that, the invoice for the measurement was never sent to me at the time and instead resurfaced months later through collections, which could have easily been avoided with basic communication.

Very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend working with her at all.

We had a interior remodeling job at our condo. It involvied building a wall, new countertops and sinks, electrical work and painting. Danny and his team completed on time and on budget. Everything looks fantastic and we are extremely happy with the whole process.

I couldn’t recommend Coastal Construction enough. The entire team is very responsive, professional, and kept us updated on timelines throughout the entire process. They also gave us suggestions and ways of doing things that we hadn’t thought of before. That and their attention to detail helped our remodel turn out better than we imagined. Coastal Construction replaced a window for us in a room with a spa. They were timely, efficient and did lovely work. We have already asked for an estimate on additional work. Some of the work was done by individuals they hired, and those individuals were excellent. I would recommend.

We had an unfortunate accident with a washer install which dumped water into our wall.
.. this meant that we had to tear up parts of a wall, ceiling and floor to make sure that we didn't get a big mold problem.

Coastal Construction came in and fixed the wall, ceiling, and our tile floor... and you simply /cannot/ tell that it was a repair. It looks absolutely *perfect*.

Amazingly, this also came in under budget.

We'll most definitely be using Coastal Construction again in the future, and you should too!

Coastal did a home office addition on our house, and made it blend in to the existing structure (a 1932 beach cottage). The work was done early and under budget for us, which is pretty incredible. Very impressed with their communication most of all, and we were very pleased with the final work of course too.

The team at Coastal Construction was excellent to partner with. We got a quote and timeline quickly. Everyone brought in at different parts of the process were professional and did great work. We had a wall and French doors added on top of ceramic tiling, with some custom framing around the door to match the house molding. Came together perfectly.

We've had Coastal Construction work on multiple jobs for us over the past few years and have always been extremely happy with the experience! Danny and his team are very professional and the quality of their work is second to none. We will continue to use them moving forward.

We are so grateful and fortunate to have been referred to Coastal Construction! They are THE standout gem of construction that you might not know existed, but that you MOST CERTAINLY NEED to know about in Seattle! Grab your coffee because Danny, Zach, and the crew are everything we were looking for in a construction company, & we are here to rave:

1. The project: A small kitchen remodel in a 1940 bungalow. We wanted the wall removed between the kitchen & dining room & a complete update to the kitchen. Even with our small kitchen, we got a delightfully unexpected pantry!

2. First and foremost, we wanted a team that was communicative & responsive, especially given this is a months long relationship. They embody communication excellence. They took any concerns we had seriously, respected our vision, while also giving us the direction and options we needed within the budget we had.

3. Fairness: This company is fair & trustworthy. We got several bids, and from our initial meeting in comparison to other companies we met with, there was just that certain something that we knew was going to work for us. They kept things real, and we felt confident they knew not only what they were doing, but would also stand by their work.

4. And this brings me to their work. They do not take shortcuts, work efficiently, & ensure the work is uncompromisingly exceptional. We were out of town when they started this project and still received photos and updates. These guys work hard and with attention to detail. We're not sure how they've done it, but it seems they have a secret sauce to unflinching excellence, not only with their crew (huge shout out to Misael!), but also with ALL their subcontractors!

5. Budget: We had a budget. Not surprisingly, we went over budget, but not because of exorbitant costs from Coastal; rather because they were doing such excellent work, we kept adding on to our project! Talk about scope creep in the best way possible

6. Test of time: We have been back in our home for ~5 months now, and every day we remain in awe of Coastal's work. We would not hesitate to have future projects done by Coastal, and without hesitation, we would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, communicative team with exceptional ethics at a fair cost without compromising the end product. If we could give them an eleven on a scale of 1 to 10, we would!

I had a great experience with Coastal Construction on the remodel of my kitchen and master bathroom as well as a handful of smaller projects. Both Danny and Mark bring extensive expertise to the job and everyone on the crew was both skilled and a pleasure to work with. A cabinet maker that I separately contacted with created numerous schedule disruptions that caused Coastal to have to reschedule their work several times, yet I was impressed with their responsiveness. I won't hesitate to work with Coastal again.

Bottom Line: I could not recommend the team at Coastal Construction more strongly.

We used them to repair an extensive bathroom leak and also to repair structural damage to the side of our house. On both occasions, the repairs were done quickly and the work was top-notch. My wife was extremely impressed with how clean and professional the team was and I loved the clear and timely communication on the status of the project from start to finish.

There's a saying – “You can have it fast, you can have it good, you can have it cheap: pick two.” From my experience with Coastal, you can pick all three.

Coastal Construction was easy to work with and communicative during our leak restoration. We have a condo building in Seattle that suffered water damage to one unit. We received multiple bids, and Coastal came in at a great price, provided quality materials, and most importantly was easy to communicate with! They seemed invested in the project’s success, start to finish. It can feel impossible to find quality contractors so what a relief working with these folks.

We had a fantastic experience working with Coastal on our kitchen and bathroom remodel. We are about one month done and loving our space. From start to finish the Coastal crew was supportive, transparent, thorough, and overall easy to work with to bring the project to completion. They finished within budget and just about on time. We only were pushed out about a week due to an issue with a subcontractor piece. They were brilliant in working with us and the subcontractor to resolve the issue in an efficient way. We had many questions along the way, and our project manager, Zach, was always prompt in responding to us and never made us feel like our questions were unnecessary. The construction itself is solid, and we want to give kudos to Misael for treating our home with care. Lastly our designer also enjoyed working with Coastal which made the experience an A++! Thank you Coastal!
