Home Services reviews in Seattle, Washington

I can easily spend an hour here and I usually do. This place has plants, trees, a coffee shop, a koi pond, a gift shop. A few days ago, I saw a super cool miniature train installation there and spent solid 20 minutes just looking at every detail.
The nursery is very big and everything is marked clearly. This is my go-to nursery to buy gifts for my plant-loving friends. The cafe has a pet-friendly seating area. -
Swansons is a fantastic nursery! I’ve been looking for a nursery like this in Seattle for a long time, and this place is perfect!
They have such wonderful helpers for all of your questions! They have plants in all different variations for whatever you have planned for your yard!
They also have much more than the basics of what you need! If you’re doing anything with your yard and need anything, they most likely have it!
They also have a wonderful bakery/kitchen! Their food is delicious and their bakery items are great as well!

A green island you never wish to leave, it has all the plants you want to keep inside your home or in your garden. There is plenty of support both in the store and online on how to take care of the plants. Super helpful staff!
Lots of indoor decor for any season and right now it's Christmas time. They have beautiful Christmas train setup and Santa's yurt. Fun times for kids!
A beautiful cafe with an amazing koi pond. You cannot find a cleaner pond than this! -
Beautiful nursery! So many well laid out areas, great selections of vegetables, perennials, you name it. Could spend hours here just looking around. They've got it all for the constant gardener!

This place was incredible. Went there today, it’s a little plant wonderland. Talked to an employee for 20-30 minutes and she was so nice, helpful and answered every question I could have as a new plant owner. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This nursery is being run with great care and a deep understanding of botany, where flowers and vegetables are displayed according to the season.
The arrangement of flowering plants in a very large space provides an artistic display of botany.
This nursery is an ornate arrangement that would make anyone happy. This is the best and the beyond after coveted existence of 100 years in Seattle. -
I’m not from the area so I asked a friend which plant nurseries he would recommend and this was one of a few. HOLY COW! What a cool place, so huge with so many different greenhouses and outdoor plant areas as well. The little gift shop was stocked with lots of cute stuff too. I left with a couple of plants on my wishlist that I couldn’t find in my small town, and of course a few plants that weren’t on my wishlist 😅 Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Beyond the plants and gifts there was a huge selection of pots and plant care necessities for indoor and outdoor plants. My only complaint is the pricing seemed to vary from plant to plant. Some were a steal, while others were a bit overpriced. The huge variety makes up for that, IMO. If one is priced a little higher there will probably be something else you adore that will be priced more appropriately. There were a lot of plants and items that were on sale too, so bargains to be had.
I will most definitely be returning when it’s time for outdoor planting! -
My mom and mine newest favorite nursery, complete with a cafe, awesome gelato, great coffee and a lovely welcoming vibe and staff.

I understand charging a mark up is just part of business, especially for a small business in-person, but Swanson’s is borderline criminal. Charging more than double for most items you would find elsewhere. I just got an 8.5 ft Fraiser Fir at Donna’s for $180 after tax and it was healthier than the $300 one at Swanson’s. Shop here if you’re *that* rich. I recommend Donna’s Trees, Magnolia Garden Center or Indoor Sun Shop for realistic pricing.

This is a plant lovers paradise. They have something for everyone. The sections are well marked and nicely organized. The plants are all so beautiful, it’s lovely to just take a walk and see everything. Their outdoor pots are beautiful. I specially liked all the garden sculptures and decorations. There is even a little cafe here! Great way to spend a day.

This review is for the people in the cafe. They’re so nice. Today I went in asking if they could make me a gluten free mocha. They asked just about everyone to find the answer. I couldn’t have the mocha but at least they found out whether or not it’s safe. I can’t tell you how many people appear to sincerely not care or will roll their eyes. I’ll be back to have the gelato next time, which is GF.
PS the Hellebores were showstopping today!! -
This is a great gardening center, although they do it up for the holidays. We went before Christmas and had a great time walking around. I They have an indoor area where you can order hot chocolate and drinks and view the koi goldfish and more. The yurt was really cool with a couple of activities for kids and felt very seasonal. They have an indoor shop and had live music that day. The live music was a woman’s group playing the bells and that was very nice. Overall, a great place to stop by over the holidays. I’m sure it’s great. the rest of the season too.

Maya is amazing!
Her customer service, passion, and knowledge is absolutely next level.
I’m a total newbie with house plants, and she was so helpful, thoughtful, and considerate with my questions.
She really cares.
Any reservations I may have had walking in there, were completely swept away because of her enthusiasm, and genuine eagerness to help me succeed.
She’s incredible.
And just like that, I’m a Swanson’s fan for life! -
Date day adventure! Beautiful place! Large selection of some really cool plants. The café was amazing, definately recommend! It was so great that they had a cafe... Coffee and food until 4pm. The gift shop area is DANGEROUS lol there are a lot of items from small businesses which I love! We got a watercolor paint set and a puzzle. We continued our date night at home with these fun activities. The plants are very nicely priced, and I feel like we saw a lot of plants we hadn't seen anywhere else. Great adventure.

Brightscape installed, selected and designed the functional, esthetic & artistic placement of my outdoor landscaping lights over 15 years ago and they have been annually maintaining them ever since. The added value to my property from the initial investment has been sustained by their annual service. The fact that the longevity of Brightscape's success is as a result of the team of experts who have been working for this company since the start, speaks to the reason I continue to be a loyal customer. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. If it's broken, they can fix it.
