Very knowledgeable in the trade. Their A/C tech located the two issues I had with my air conditioner within just a few minutes after I had paid a service tech to come out to fix the unit and he was stumped as to what the issue was. Very pleased with my a/c. Thankyou Northend.

Great service and value! When another heating company couldn't get to our home in a reasonable time, they recommended I call Doug at Northend Home Heating. Doug came quickly, identified the troubles, and installed our new furnace (and updated our ductwork) within just a few days. He was always on time, respectful, safe, and great to work with. Trustworthy and extremely effective! Our house feels great now.

Have an older home in NE Seattle and needed to replace old inefficient ductwork in the basement. We called several other HVAC companies that only wanted to install new mini splits. The existing furnace/ heat pump is not old and did not need to be replaced.
In August we removed the old ducts and Northend installed new more efficient ducts. Doug was able to skillfully fabricate and adjust the new ducts to fit into some tight spaces. He also added dampers so the airflow could be adjusted as needed.
Over the past several months we have been enjoying a much warmer home with a lower utility bill than last year. I am extremely happy with this company and the service provided. Thank you Doug and Michael!

Air North has been helping service my hvac systems for 10+ years so when they did this super clean replacement of my AC unit I wasn’t surprised in the least. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AirNorth for both maintenance and new service recommendations.

We live in a condo with three mini split units, and the Amir knew exactly what to do. He arrived right on time, and the office communication was clear and professional throughout.

He diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed it on the spot. He also took the time to walk me through how to clean and maintain all three units so we can avoid unnecessary repairs down the line.

He was knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I’d absolutely call him again!

Our heat pump stopped working and every place we called wanted between $150 - $300 just to come look at it.
We decided to pay the fee to Blue Flame since they had originally installed the system about 11 years ago.
Blue Flame's technician ran a few tests and said we had a leak somewhere but to track down where would be another $5,000. That didn't include fixing it and he told us it was likely that even after that it would not be possible to fix the leak. He suggested we replace the whole system and scheduled us with a sales rep. The Blue Flame sales rep gave us a price of $13k - $19k, and was pushing for us to replace our perfectly good furnace as well.
Then my wife called Northend, Mike came out within the hour and did a diagnostic free of charge. He agreed that their was a leak but was pretty sure he could fix it. So sure that he offered to track down the leak for less than half what the other guys wanted and if it was fixable fix it for that price, he was so sure it wild be fixable he offered us a crazy large discount on his work if he couldn't. Honestly his offer was so good we couldn't refuse. Low and behold he was able to find the leak and fix it within a matter of hours.
We ended up spending a tenth of what everyone else wanted to charge us and didn't have to scrap a perfectly good heat pump.
You can bet I will be exclusively using Northend Home Heating and Air Conditioning for all my HVAC issues from here on out.

Doug showed up on time and as scheduled and did a great job. My old furnace was on it's last leg and I wanted to get it replaced before the winter rush. Their price was lower than the other bid I got and they could do it in less time (one day). The new furnace fan runs great (quieter) and we're very happy with the overall results. They even cleaned up the old ducting mess and added a filter box. I highly recommend Northend for any furnace work.

Paid about $5500 for an install in Nov, 2025. Doug and Michael did it pretty fast and the day before Thanksgiving when our prior unit stopped running.

I really appreciated the speed and felt like they did good work. Today, and pretty much on and off for the last couple of weeks the unit doesn’t run.

Honestly, it’s cold in the house. And it sucks.

Doug told me I need to install a ground wire to the unit. The home is old, and so was our old gas furnace.

It stung a bit to be told to go do some work on our brand new unit only a couple months after install.

Doug talked to me about how an HVAC tech. has to know electric, hvac, and plumbing. I guess they may know how but choose not to.

Five stars on my experience with Starducts on the ease of getting a quote and setting up an appointment. Ten stars for Matt. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Ultimately because of our older home, we couldn’t do an air duct cleaning, but he was thorough in determining if and how we could. In the end Matt still cleaned our dryer vent and bathroom fans, which both needed it! I highly recommend this company / and Matt specifically!

Starducts was great to work with! They were super communicative from the start, including a very quick quote with details of what their duct cleaning services included. I was able to book an appointment a couple months in advance. Before the appointment, they sent me an email and text to tell me who was going to be doing the service. Matt showed up on time and was super professional, a quick problem-solver, and explained his whole process. I'd definitely use them again!
