Hi, the girls show up on time. Went right to work. Very prompt.. did the job. It looked good. They did not do more than expected. Average job. Nothing extra. The girl I had before this crew went over and above. It looked amazing when she left. I paid more for the average work. Than the extra and above work. I’ll probably shop for my next cleaning. I do it one time a year.
Extra work I would have liked:
Pull the refrigerator out. Clean behind it.
Bring oven burner replacements
Clean inside cupboards
Empty the garbage
Make sure the kitchen smells good
Clean top of counters

The quality of the cleaning service is great it's worth 5 stars but I rated 4 stars due to the unprofessional manner of the staff that upon initially entering my home and realized I have visual surveillance tampered with my surveillance system so they would not be viewed by my surveillance system until the management made contact with the staff in my home after my complaint. I am certain I'm not the only client that has some sort of security in their home, I don't fault Merry Maids as an entire body I just think two members of they're staff need re-training of how to conduct themselves when entering a client's home.

I was very unhappy with the initial job, however I spoke with Brett the manager and he was very prompt with resolving the issue. He immediately stopped by the job assessed the situation and promptly mobilized a team and finished in a timely manner. I believe that the ladies weren’t used to a post construction cleaning and were likely overwhelmed. It’s a tough job. Thank you Brett and all the ladies for the hard work.

Absolute Custom Construction

I recently relocated my family to Spokane Valley for work. I bought a house that was not left very clean from the previous tenants. Not bad, just not professionally cleaned. Since I had about a month before I actually moved in I hired Merry Maids in Spokane Valley to clean the house with instructions for special attention to the bathrooms and Kitchen. I told them to take as much time as they needed since I wouldn't be there for at least 3 weeks. As you can see from the photos, this is what they consider "special attention." And yes, that is a pair of dirty underwear and broken glass under the bathroom vanity. Like it was swept under either by the previous tenants or Merry Maids them selves. I discovered this mess when moving in and had to re-clean the entire house myself. When I called to complain Brett told me this house was a "nightmare" and that they spent more time there than they felt they should have. Even though the entire house was completely empty and I had already had the carpets professionally cleaned. I was still billed for the full service and offered no discount. Unethical business practices and down right thievery. And when I attempted to call corporate H.Q. to complain I was continuously transferred to dead extensions where I was unable to leave messages. No return contact was made by them. I'm actually thinking of filing a lawsuit as this company can not be trusted to work unsupervised! My kids could have done a better job!

I have never hired a cleaning service prior to this. I am highly impressed and that is not easy to do with me. From the very first contact with Monik, the supervisor, to Laura (my team) on her way out the door when she finished was superior. Each step of the way has been communicated effectively and accurately, everyone is very professional and not only nice, but friendly and personable. Laura did an outstanding job cleaning and adding little touches that she may not have to - like folding in the flaps of the pillow cases when she made the bed. I felt so taken care of and Monik and Laura were both completely accommodating in terms of willingness and happiness doing everything I asked. I have a lot of responsibility in my profession and home and exert a lot of energy and time managing, taking care of, overseeing others. I am so grateful to have been so well taken care of and this has been such a gift to relieve stress in my life. I highly recommend Merry Maids.

I’ve been using Merry maids and absolutely love them! My team does an amazing job with my house keeping, I love coming home knowing my home is clean.

When it comes down to it, I don't believe anyone is going to clean your home better then you. With that said, sometimes my clients don't have time to clean their before we list their home or after they move everything out of it. When my clients need a reliable cleaning service that shows up on time and does the best they can, I suggest Merry Maids. They come evaluate the property, give check list of what they are cleaning, and they SHOW UP. I would of given them 5 stars but I've never been blown away by the cleanings but that is probably because I'm clean freak and have unrealistic expectations. LOL

The girls that cleaned our home did an excellent job! They were thorough, professional and did what was necessary to meet a deadline. I would definitely use Merry Maids again and recommend them to friends and family.

Merry Maids have done an excellent job! They cleaned my house from top to bottom. They were very professional from just the initial estimate all the way to the end of the cleaning. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a professional job done and a clean home!

I have had these ladies clean both my houses and they are absolutely amazing! They are worth every cent! I would recommend them 10/10 times to family and friends! The most important part my wife just raves about them and we are very particular about cleanliness.

I had a great team of ladies come out to organize my pantry. I cannot even put into words how much this has improved my daily living. I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Mackenzie and Lexie were friendly and professional and Monik and Michelle were great during this process as well. This is an amazing service and well worth it.

Upon reading the reviews on Google, my husband and I decided to use Merry Maids as the method to clean our new home for move in. My husband walked through our place with a Michelle I believe and told her everything we wanted done.
Our appointment was the next day and we left the house in the hands of two friendly ladies, trusting that everything we asked for would be completed. When we returned home it was obvious that they had wiped down surfaces, windows, and the many many mirrors throughout our place due to the smudge and wipe marks left behind. You could tell that they hadn’t even been wiped all the way to the corners. Dust was left in corners, the shower and bathtubs weren’t cleaned properly, and the granite surfaces were wiped but not scrubbed. My fridge had sticky oil residue on it after it was said to have been wiped down...
Overall I was very disappointed to pay the amount I paid and then have a little cry upon realizing my home was still not ready and have to go immediately out to buy cleaning supplies and spend hours cleaning it myself. I won’t be using this company again and I will not be recommending it to friends.
I delayed posting a review because I asked someone to get back in contact with me about the issue, since no one ever did - here we are.

Ladies we’re extremely nice. I have to reschedule my appointment a few times due to the contractors working on the home not finishing on time. However even tho we rescheduled, they charged me for the cleaned already even tho no one had been to the home. Upon them being done, they did not do a single thing that we spoke about and I don’t believe they even cleaned, some of you would not believe what I came back to still fine. This company charged me far too much for the amount of space and for not doing the work. You could tell immediately upon walking through the home that they only took a cloth and wiped the kitchen counters and window seals and the dirt that was there wasn’t cleaned out it was shoved into each coroner of the window. I have had to hire cleaning company’s before but when I say this was a horrific job done and experience I mean that. I will not recommend you nor use you again.

I have been extremely satisfied with the service the ladies have provided on both occasions. They did a deep clean the first visit and it was so amazing that I requested them to come every two weeks! The relief this provides my busy family is worth every penny! I love the special touch when they leave a card after they are done! Highly recommend for a busy family!

The team was in time and friendly. I do think it would be beneficial for them to use a check list. I came back at the end, plus my neighbors checked in several times. I reminded them to clean the blinds and the door handles. They did. When I came back later I noticed a few areas I would have felt better doing myself. The kitchen appeared "surface" cleaned and the fridge and freezer had been missed. I took out the drawers and wiped it myself. It surprised me that the floor by the sliding glass doors had dirt between the floor and the door that could have easily been vacuumed out. I feel the price was much too high for the end results. I will not use Merry Maids again.

So nice to come home after work and have a clean house. They did amazing and I was a bit embarrassed that my house had gotten so bad. Sincerely appreciate that they are bonded, insured and do back round checks on all their employees. May pay a bit more for Merry Maids but my initial clean had 4 people cleaning. Looking forward to the bi-weekly cleaning, leaving more time for family and doing things I would rather be doing.

We had a deep clean done our home. After approximately 5 hours of cleaning the women left. We noticed that a lot of our furniture was only dusted on the front half, the ceiling fans weren’t done, one of our showers wasn’t done, and there was still dirt around the top of our kitchen cabinets. We called the Merry Maids location and told them. They had the women come back to clean what had been missed. They both had good attitudes and apologized for what had been missed. Overall an okay experience, but not sure it was worth the price.

I have worked with Merry Maids multiple times over the years and they do a great job! They use text reminders to communicate and even allow you to see when your assigned cleaning person will arrive to the minute.

The services promised have not been performed completely. At our first interview we were promised that the inside of the windows would be cleaned. That still hasn’t happened. The attention to detail has not been good. The lady cleaning seems to feel she has to hurry in and hurry out as she attempts to bring all of her equipment through the doors at once, banging doors and door jambs.

Review Amendment. We have discussed the issues with company management and service has improved greatly.
