Capstone did an excellent job on repairing water damaged tile and engineered wood flooring throughout our home. Eric and his crew were on time and communicated clearly all details and timelines. Process started with accurate estimate and insurance interface by Don. Thank you Capstone for a job well done.

Capstone was amazing from start to finish. We had a flood back in April and capstone was at our door within hours. The heart and soul of this whole operation was Brooke. That woman is a workhorse and a leader and she took command of the whole situation and guided the crew and got in there herself and handled the initial phase like a master. She returned to our house virtually every day to take moisturereadings, but I swear her commitment was so great that it was like she was taking care of her own house! You could really feel that she cared.
Next came Gary months later to plan out the restoration, get all the materials ready, and then when the work began, This crew of guys putting our house back together again were fantastic. They were all friendly and very careful and courteous. They were with us for 4 or 5 days and I couldn't have cared less how long they were there because they worked clean and they worked as efficiently as possible and they put our place together beautifully.
There was Josiah and Zach basically leading the way with the rest of the crew and they came back as necessary to fine-tune some stuff and just to make sure that everything was perfect.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with this company. Brooke was really the standout star from day one and even though she wasn't involved in the later restoration, it was her focus and attention that really made me fully believe that I was in the right hands with the right company.
Thanks capstone. Our house is amazing now!

A huge Thank-You to Adam and his team for the wonderful and well-done job of repairing multiple rooms throughout our home, damaged from broken water pipes. Adam was excellent in his communications, thoroughly explaining the process, keeping us updated on progress, and patiently answering questions and concerns. He was a liaison between our insurance and made helpful suggestions, while being sensitive to our costs. The entire crew was considerate of the fact that this was our home and not just a house. They really cared about the quality of work they delivered, and it showed because the results are truly beautiful. They went above and beyond. Very happy we chose Capstone and got to work with Adam and team.

A BIG Shout Out to Larry, Eric and their supervisor Mark for the excellent job they completed on the inside and outside walls and windows of the condo we have been using these last few months. The finish work (texture, framing, painting, etc) was done with care and looks fabulous! They also were very careful to keep things clean while they worked and upon leaving left everything looking like new. We couldn't be happier with our completed part of this BIG project. Came home from vacation to find a leaking hot water heater. Master bathroom, master bed room closet, pantry and back door entryway was flooded. Call Capstone Jr and his crew Aaron and Ben came out and removed the soaked flooring and stared the dehumidifying and drying process. The replaced the flooring and insulation as well as the support structure they installed new linoleum throughout the kitchen, pantry and rear entrance. Also replaced the bathroom linoleum. We amazed at how much stuff had to be removed. Trim boards and the kitchen island. Floor mounted cabinets in the bathroom and rear entry way. The work was professionally and quickly accomplished. Could not tell anything had ever happened. Almost a year latter we had a manufactures defect appear in the kitchen linoleum. Contacted Jr and he immediately came out to investigate the problem. He ordered new linoleum and when it came in he had a crew Aaron, Zach, Ben and James come out and dismantle our kitchen and rear entry way to replace with the new linoleum. They quick and efficient. They again finished the job promptly without a trace as if nothing had ever happened. We same enough good about this courteous team of hard working men. Jr himself assisted as needed throughout both projects. We high recommend Capstone and this professional team to tackle any project or disaster you my have.

Gary and his excellent crew took care of our insurance repair. Zach and Colton went the extra mile to keep us functional during demo and replacement of our floors and cabinets, even putting the sink back in so we could use it over weekends. Their work was excellent, from big picture to detail. Clean, prompt, polite, and thoughtful. So glad we went with Capstone!

Capstone worked through all the insurance issues surrounding significant hail damage. Our project manager, Adam Christian, was amazing to work with. He was thorough and remained in constant communication throughout the process. The work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely use Capstone again!

Capstone's team was awesome! At first, we struggled to find a reliable contractor after a tree fell on our house. Eventually, made the smart choice and started working with Capstone. They began work earlier than projected, and finished the work quickly. This is a professional company that knew just how to work with my insurance company. I received prompt responses to phone calls and e-mails. They repaired everything even remotely impacted by the tree, and meticulously cleaned up after the project. My wife and I love the final product and highly recommend Capstone to any person looking for a local contractor. These guys are top notch.

They communicated with us every step of the way and the finished product was amazing. I would recommend them to family and friends for any home restoration project. The cost was more than reasonable and a great value.

My experience with Capstone was one of the worst experiences that I have had with any service industry company - ever.
Capstone was hired to construct an approximately 350 sf, $105,000 addition to my home; the addition was required to make my house more accessible for my wife who has several physical disabilities.
I was conned into what ended up being a very expensive scam; by the time Capstone left the job there was an estimated $150,000 worth of defects in the new construction and damage to my existing home and property. I was lied to by Capstone from the beginning.
    1. They agreed that the construction would be completed in approximately 2 ½ month. It took nearly 6 months.
    2. The job supervisor did not inspect the work; If the job supervisor did show up he only showed once or twice a week for about 15 minutes; the job supervisor was unable to read construction documents or understand construction very well; if he was confronted with a construction error he would just come up with a line of B.S. and not address the issue.
    3. 7 out of 18 of the subcontractors were not licensed even though Capstone put into writing that all their subcontractors are licensed and bonded; A good portion of the employees and subcontractors could not read English or understand construction documents, most were just basically handymen; literally every trade produced defective work – a sampling of the defects: excavator damaged the underground plumbing, exposed rebar in the foundation, sloppy concrete work on the interior and exterior slabs and walls, foundation work that is not constructed per the construction documents, framing that does not align from floor to floor, framing that was critical to be framed plumb and square that was not, the roof was framed at the wrong slope, the wrong windows were installed and windows were installed at the wrong height, all of the hardwood and LVT flooring was installed improperly which voids the warrantees, all the door were installed improperly, improper plumbing installation that diminished any usable water flow, light switches mounted about 12” to low, improper HVAC ducting, improper exterior siding and trim installation, incorrect roof flashing, improper roofing installation that allows the roof to leak substantially, leaking rain gutters, improper attic ventilation, poor quality interior trim work, unequal rod iron baluster spacing at the interior guardrail, damage to existing tile and carpet flooring throughout, incomplete painting, broke three interior stairs, and damaged two skylights. None of these or any of the many other item were corrected before Capstone and their subcontractors left the job.
    4. It was agreed that Capstone would completely seal off the existing house from the construction area during demolition and construction. Capstone failed to seal of the existing house which resulted in the entire existing house and all of its contents being covered in an extremely thick layer of dust. In addition there was no winter protection provided to the exposed living spaces during the entire winter.
    5. It was understood that Capstone was being hired to be the General Contractor because I did not have any time to devote to being my own contractor due to my heavy work load at my job as an Architect. I ended up spending well over 100 hours of my time doing Capstone job of attempting to make sure that the construction moved along and was somewhat conforming to the construction documents.
I held back a portion of the contract funds owed while I attempted several times to work with Capstone on compensating me for all the defects and damages; we agreed to mediate a settlement on compensation in good faith, however Capstone decided to blackmail me into settling into being compensated for pennies on the dollar for the defects and damages or they would take me and my wife to court if I attempted to settle for more.
So in conclusion, if you don’t want to be scammed and end up with substantial defective construction like we did, I would recommend that you not even consider Capstone.

Gary was an incredible manager of the team remodeling our bathroom after we had a sewer leak. He updated us almost every day on what had been completed and what still needed to be done. We wish we had used Capstone for the mitigation as well, with how through everyone was and quick to pick up the job.
Zach was in our home most days, doing almost all of the work. He was always on time, gave us updates as the days went on and was one of the hardest workers we’ve had in our home. Zach paid attention to detail and double checked to make sure it’s exactly how we wanted it. He was very respectful of our home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to do the job. His expertise in everything from flooring to plumbing to electrical was incredible and he was always willing to go the extra mile, treating our home like his own. The job was done quickly and correctly. Worth every penny. We are so grateful to Capstone as a company, Gary as a fabulous project manager, Zach as a tradesman, and Joe as the heavy lifter and right hand man. Thank you for all your hard work!!

Great service, prompt and responsive. Friendly staff and all contacts positive. From the first contact the experience has been excellent. The workers at our home were great, paying attention to detail and very thorough, punctual work. Josiah, Zach and Gage were a pleasure to work with. The last week of the job, with Zach and Josiah finishing up, was well done and ahead of schedule. They were a great crew and the company overall is dependable and timely: one we won't hesitate to call again.

Don’t do it! Please save yourself from future hardship and problems. Someone Ran into my Garage two summers ago. The gentleman that hit my garage had State Farm. The insurance agent and Capstone facilitated payment. They weren’t able to fix my garage until I waited almost a year!! The job was never completed as the bricks don’t match the others. They called me to say I owed them money before they would complete the job after being fully paid and paid extra for them to make my garage functional before full repairs as agreed with the insurance agent of the other party who drove into my garage. They have also sent me personally a bill for a job they had organized with State Farm and all costs and payments verified with one another. Nothing extra just what was needed and agreed to by both parties. They also added interest charges acquired during the time I waited almost a year to have part of the job done! I highly recommend a company that will not start a predatory practice of trying to collect money not owed and unfinished work! When I spoke with Jay I believe his name is he just laughed at me completely unprofessional.

I am super thankful for our experience with Capstone. Marty is super helpful and professional. What I really appreciated was that Capstone was way more conservative in assessing the damage caused by a cracked water line on the back of our fridge. A previous mitigation company said that we would need to tear our whole kitchen out because of water damage near the fridge and on one cabinet. We were going to have no access to our kitchen and needed to have all kinds of work done. Marty gave us a second opinion that involved only tearing out one cabinet and cutting out the sub flooring where there was damage. We were able to keep our appliances in place as things dried out and still live out of our home. Once our vinyl came, Marty and his crew came quickly and fixed everything up. They just rebuilt our cabinet so that we didn't have to get brand new cabinets all around. They even re-bracketed our loose dishwasher. We love the way it looks now. Everyone I interacted with at Capstone was super friendly, helpful, and courteous. The interactions of the crew members were impressive as well which is not always the case with construction companies. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing some damage repaired in their home.

Excellent customer service, quality, and reliability. I had water damage work that needed to be done and was fed up with the company I had on the job. I called capstone and Brooke was out within the hour to start on the project. She was so knowledgeable and thorough in finding trapped moisture. Ronny became our project lead, and I’ve never had a project manager be so communicative! I always knew exactly what was happening and when. And when we went over the proposed list of items to complete he was extremely thorough. Shout out to Don the estimator who was also great. The regular flooring guy did really a pretty perfect job, I was impressed and I’m the type who looks for every imperfection. The wood floor subcontractor was also very good and was more thorough than I’ve had in the past. And the quality of the products is holding up well to lots of abuse. Capstone is a really quality company that actually wants to do right by their customers. Good value for the money too, I had them lay more flooring because I thought it was very reasonable. I didn’t know anything about the company when I saw their billboard and called, but I’m so glad I did! I would highly recommend.

This company responded within hours after a malfunction of a water system pressure switch and flooded our master bathroom and garage areas. They cleaned up the damage quickly and had the correct equipment to dry out the floors, crawlspace and garage. The Idaho crew was very reassuring and professional in fixing the problem.
Below is our master bathroom after their renovation.

I had a fire that caused a ton of smoke and water damage. Capstone was able to get someone on-site right away to secure the gaping hole in the side of my house. They then did a fantastic job, not only repairing and refurbishing everything, cleaning and de-smelling my stuff, but also walked me through the process and worked with the insurance company to make the situation as painless for me as possible. My house looks great! I would recommend them for any work they can do for you.
