Home Services reviews in Spokane, Washington

Alex and his team did a fantastic job! We had a few unusual lawn care needs which included removal of an overgrown bush and maple tree snags in the back yard, lots of weed whacking and clean up. I highly recommend Mowtivated Lawn Care Services and would certainly use their services in the future.

We gave Mowtivated the daunting task of trimming our out-of-control 120' long arborvitae hedge, some of the trees being 18' tall. Alex responded quickly to our request for a quote. His price was very fair and he gave us good advice on care of the trees. Andrew and Jesse are a great team who are very safety conscious. They worked hard, were professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and cared about the work they did. We highly recommend Mowtivated for your landscape needs. Job well done guys!!

Alex and Andrew did an amazing job on my landscaping! They knocked it out of the park, and I will be a lifetime customer! Thank you, Alex and Andrew!

Needed a new lawn care service so I reached out to Mowtivated and they provided a very fast and fair quote for my lawn. Alex got me on the schedule quickly and did a great job getting my yard prepped for the summertime. Highly recommend working with them if you are in need of lawn care services!

Alex is textbook professional, knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. He and his team did a fantastic and detailed spring cleanup for me, and advised what services my sadly neglected yard needed over time to heal and look great. He did this with no pressure, only honest advice. He clearly brings the pride of excellent service to his work, and I can tell that his crew members are also carefully hired and well trained. Also: he communicates honestly and let's you know when to expect his visits. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Great locally owned store with excellent product lines and knowledgable friendly staff. This company and staff get my highest endorsement. Laurie and staff are knowledgeable and hard working. Great selection of fall bulbs and holiday stuff.

I went there for bugs to feed my dragon. I buy them all the time at this store. For some reason, I decided to count what I got. I got 15 super worms, but ordered and paid for 24. Then looked at my medium dubia roaches. I ordered 12 mediums and only got 2 medium and 8 smalls. It seems trivial, but if I pay for a certain amount, I want to get what I paid for. And those numbers add up over time.

My first visit and I will definitely be a loyal customer. Great customer service! The Lady that knows Hoya plants is amazing. Above and beyond helpful!

I do understand that Tucker the tortoise may get adequate care at best, however I have been in this store many times and made many purchases and it saddens me to see that Tucker is kept in his little metal box every day. I will probably receive a reply regarding something along the lines of “Tucker is well cared for… “ blah blah blah, but I do wish he could be placed in an animal sanctuary where his habitat can be replicated. Everyone who cares about animals will notice this and feel the same. It is possible to make this happen and I am not sure why they haven’t taken action to do so. Imagine a life where you are trapped surrounded by people everyday, stuck in a metal enclosure with the bare minimum care… sad. He does not belong in this place and we all know it

Super friendly staff and the prices beat Petsmart and Petco. They tend to have products in stock when others don't, too. They keep their bulbs/lights behind a counter so you don't have to worry about them being damaged prior to purchase. They aren't the closest to me, so I have been known to look at their competitor, but EVERY TIME I end up finding what I want at Northwest Seed and Pet.

I significantly prefer their Sprague location, the nursery stock at that location seems to be in better health. I did get a couple of good garden trowels here.
I also agree with people - don't support animal mills, adopt from rescue, although my review is not on the pet side but the garden side. -
I enjoy this place. I come here quite often to see if they have new animals. This store is SO much better than the one on division. Only thing I would say is the cichlids never look that healthy. They often have skinny stomachs or cloudy eyes which is a little disappointing. Other than that I would recommend this place any day.

I went to the north side location today to look and see what type of fish they had. I had just purchased several fish from their location on sprauge right before. I was very disappointed with my experience on the north side location. I was told I could not buy any fish because I had some questions about an air pump and the lady helping me said wouldn't sell me any fish now, because she personally didn't feel like I had a good enough set up. I had JUST GOT FISH from their other location no problem. And before I could even look I was denied sales simply because I asked about a new air pump. I felt really judged and the whole thing was super unpleasant. I had zero issues at the other location and I have gone to buy fish 5 times now. This was my first time trying to purchase fish from the division location and ill never go back. The girl with bleach blonde hair and blue tips was the one who helped me. Poor customer service to just assume

A little dated, but staff was very helpful

Had a hard time finding help in the aquarium section, the lone staff member in the area was very busy but eventually when his attention he was very friendly and informative. Hope someone's there to help him out sometimes. Loved their assortment of fish and amphibians, and for a moment I stared into a turtles eyes and felt a powerful connection - I'm not saying the turtles there are magical, but I'm just saying it's a possibility. I wanted deeply to pet the bunnies, who seemed relaxed and comfortable behind a short plastic barrier I could easily reach over - but for all your protection, I heeded the signs and resisted this desire. You're welcome.

This place as always been my stop for anything pet related. Recently, Daven in the fish department has helped me numerous times save/expand my fish tank. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertains all of my ridiculous questions about snails, tank mates, algae growth, really anything. I’d really like to show my generosity, I think he should get a raise or a pizza party or something. Thank you Daven. Thank you NWSP. You’ll have my business as long as I live in Spokane.

I purchased 2 ornamental butterfly tail goldfish for $20 a piece that died in less than 12 hours and was told that they do not guarantee any type of goldfish regardless of the variety or price. I feel if they are going to charge that much for a fish it should be guaranteed or they need to lower the price so they aren't ripping off their customers. I will be taking ALL of my pet supply needs elsewhere so I am not getting ripped off.

Jackie is amazing! My family visited on fathers day and when we walked outside to get plants, she was very attentive! She dropped what she was doing and helped my husband pick out what we needed immediately. You can tell she is passionate about plants and gardening and it reflects in her job and customer service. We had a few questions about different things and she had an informed answer for every single one. She even clipped the rose bushes as she was explaning about transplanting roses to us. We are impressed and thankful she was there to help us today.

They always have a great and rotating plant selection!! They don’t always have everything, but if you just wait a week or two for a specific plant they’ll most likely get it in! And they charge half the price of all the other plant shops in Spokane, I know from experience! They also have a much better selection of planters, seeds, and gardening supplies compared to all the others in town!

Always have fair prices and usually always have what I need every time I go in there. I live 50 miles away from them and I make it a point to drive-in once a week to pick up some of the supplies I need and new stuff for my aquariums. Very knowledgeable staff and they are always eager to help.

Good garden store. I love the plant section. Staff Is friendly and helpful.
But fish department gives poor Betta fish care advice.
Bettas do best in 5 gallons with filters, air bubbles, heater, plants, and a nice light. These living conditions will ensure your Betta will live happier and healthier.
