Amazing experience! Great communication and awesome work. Followed up after their initial visit to make sure everything was dried completely. Communicated with my insurance so all I had to do was watch them do their thing.
-
I had a great experience with Michael, Andrew, JP, and Emmanuel! They were professional, efficient, and friendly!
-
Not only do they provide quality service but they go the extra mile when dealing with clients.
-
Friendly staff and provide great quality service!
-
Do not no matter what use this company! They are NO good. Have your insurance company use someone else!
-
Couldn’t be more impressed with Rainbow Restoration! Nice to finally work with a restoration company that gets the job done and does what they say!
-
I used this company for my business and they arrived same day and they properly handled the situation. I would recommend for commercial and/or for home use.

We had to use Rainbow International of Tacoma twice in the past year and each time they were very professional and diligent about their work. Hopefully we don’t have to use them again but if something unexcpected happened again we would use them and would recommend them to others as well.

I highly recommend this company for all your restoration or carpet cleaning needs. Any time you are thinking about making a claim on your home insurance, or just curious about the cleanliness of your home, these are the folks to call.
-
I do not recommend this company. Good luck getting any of the following: return phone calls, scheduled, answers on what they found while in my home, bid to fix. Horribly run company, they also do not give any type of warranty on their mitigation work (seems odd).

I am very pleased with the work done on our carpets at home. I have 2 small dogs. Our oldest dog this week got sick and made a mess. It stunk bad and was very dirty. Mikeal was very professional and efficient. He did a very good job and now it looks and smells brand new.
Thank you. -
UPDATED: yes they came by. But they didn't come to evaluate, they came to lie and tell me they didn't smell anything. I asked him to smell my rice cooker, "no mold spores would be on that" ok well they are IN IT. I am trying to clean it myself if not then my $110 rice cooker/steamer is gone. Thanks. It amuses me because the mattresses that weren't cleaned that the drivers smelled and agreed were not clean, that's what everything in my apartment smells like. But suddenly when the owner is here they don't smell anything. The owner contradicted his own employees and have gave me FALSE information about what he was told was done, which was NOT WHAT I was told yesterday. Then a bogus offer of checking things out was made, no Chris, I don't trust you, I don't trust your company. I've spent all of today unpacking disgusting smelling boxes and CLEANING the things you were paid $15,000 to clean that were not cleaned. But im crazy and your drivers suddenly cant smell it. Thats fine, my neighbor AND maintenance guy that came by could smell it and even asked if I was having an issue with mold. My dishrack had mold on it, so I KNOW nothing was done. I'm having my couch picked up and replaced Thursday, and have already thrown out all of my paperwork that HAVE MOLD ALL OVER THEM THAT WERE STUFFED INTO BOXES TAPED SHUT AND LEFT ALONE. I hope you are all so proud of yourselves. $15,000 to do nothing but make me and my son sick again. You and Liberty Mutual should be ashamed of yourselves. Ridiculous.
We had mold in our apartment from a leak from the upstairs unit that the complex refused to fix. I am extremely sensitive to mold and had to leave after it became impossible to breathe in there. Rainbow was sent by Liberty Mutual to assess the damage as all of my belongings smelled of mold. The lady could barely stand to be in the apartment for more than a minute. They scheduled a time to come pack everything up to clean it. $15000 was the total cost to pick up clean and store my items. We moved into the new apartment on 3/15, today is 3/25 and we are just now getting our belongings back. EVERYTHING STILL SMELLS LIKE MOLD. As does my new apartment now. So basically. It cost $15,000 to clean the open furniture (unboxed) and store the boxes items (uncleaned) only to be returned still smelling heavily of mold.... At this point I'm going to have to throw away everything and start over while rainbow sits with $15,000 for doing absolutely nothing. Yay. -
We have used Rainbow at our company many times to clean carpets on rentals as well as do mold remediation on attics for properties clients have purchased. They have always met our required schedule and gotten the job done for our company.

I had a great experience with the team at Rainbow after water damage in my kitchen and crawlspace. Nathan, Devon and Tami worked hard to get everything I needed taken care of from insurance company communication to ripping out the damage. A+!

During the last storm our basement flooded and Rainbow International is the only company that showed up in a timely manner considering half of Tacoma flooded. Although this was a stressful ordeal and during the holiday’s Mick and Jerad always showed up when the said they would. I am thankful that we had such a pleasant experience during a stressful time. I highly recommend this company.

Do not do business with Rainbow. They communicate poorly, do not take care of your belongings and do damage that they won't take responsibility for. Our Insurance carrier employees noted they had never seen a company behave this way. My wife and I have never been so disrespected and talked down to in our lives as we were by the owner. On top of this they pad their Google reviews. One of these is from an employee and one is from the wife of an employee. Who does that?

The initial interaction with this company was pleasant and professional. It quickly went downhill from there. The first two people who came to our house were unprepared and disorganized. They were responding to water damage and didn’t bother to bring waterproof attire to demo the wet insulation in our crawl space. Once they got the dehumidifiers and fans set up, the lead technician, Nathan Hatten, came to our house to take moisture readings and certify our house as “dry” in preparation for restoration. We voiced concerns to him about the vanity and tub in the bathroom where the leak originated, the built in cabinet at the end of the hall right outside the bathroom, and the vents which still had standing water in them. He checked our house twice and removed the equipment only 36 hours after deploying them in our home (they said the average is 3-5 days) saying it was dry and that he would bet his license on it. He also made a snide remark about not wanting to work at McDonalds after getting his license revoked. He talked down to us and arrogantly assured us that our house was “dry.” This guy was arrogant and disrespectful. Our field adjuster even noticed and mentioned it to us later.
The next day, we had a GC out to quote us for repairs. He went into the crawl space to find several more square feet of wet insulation. At that point, we called them to let them know and again, he talked down to us and said he had complete confidence in his technicians and that anyone can find a “cup of water” and say it’s still wet. Then, we contacted our insurance adjuster to voice our concerns. He asked if we wanted to change mitigation companies and we gladly obliged.
The second company came in and found standing water in two locations, mold in two locations, 250 sf of wet insulation under the house, approximately 15 spots in our walls which were still wet, and swollen/damaged door jambs. I would say the demolition was about 50% complete when Rainbow left certifying our house “dry.”
At the bare minimum, Mr. Hatten needs to be suspended for these egregious errors. He may have caused long term damage to the health of my family and possibly may have cause our home a very costly mold remediation or condemnation. We do NOT want to see this happen to any other families.
Steer clear of this company. If you have had them out, please check their work and trust your gut. Your life may literally depend on it. -
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.
Had a small house fire they were chosen through our insurance company. Things started out seeming great. They knew we had a special needs son so was hard to keep coming back to house for tear out n pack out. Was told dont worry we will take good care of your stuff.
Well we get our first load of stuff back and notice nothing thats fragile is even marked on boxes. Everything was so mixed up .So many things broken,Chipped n stuffed in boxes. Get 2nd half then start noticing so many important things missing:(. Our 3 piece couch was completely missing for another month.. They did 3m later settle out for damaged stuff not even close enough to equal value. But the main thing that was disrepected with and missing was
my husband deceased wifes ashes!!!! They dumped out urn cleaned it. At first there was no ashes anywhere at all. Then 20 boxes later shoved in with garage tools was a tiny tiny container of what they didnt throw away of her ashes. Only a table spoon left. There was 3/4 of a cup in urn left to make kids a artful ashes orbs. Not a option now.
Why would you open it why would you throw it away. As well as the bag ashes were in and the missing Madallion that held bag together with her name n DOD on it.? Why won't the owner have enough respect to deal with it. How do you put a price on a deceased person. How would you like to tell your kids sorry they threw away your mom in the garbage. Now been 6 month and not one word from them about it.
