Simon is a very smart any talented wood worker. He has the ability to see the completed project from talking points, to paper to final completion. He built custom shelving, custom made cabinets, built on electric fireplace, beautiful recessed built in flat screen.
He has an eye for detail, doesn't stop until it is perfect. I felt comfortable during the entire process knowing I was in good hands from start to finish. Super to work with.

We hired Simon a few years back to finish our basement. We initially wanted to move a garage wall to open up the space, but Simon took the time to show us the potential of the space, to help us design it, and to make it all happen. He was respectful, welcoming to our ideas, and always transparent about the cost. We have since tried to get him back for other projects around our house, but he’s been busy finessing his craft through jobs with other contractors. I would 1000% recommend him for your projects too!!

We hired Simon to fix the cracking tile floor in our bathroom. It ended up being a larger job than any of us expected given the extensive issues with the prior owner's work. Simon was very patient as we decided the extent of the remodel we were comfortable with and came back with an excellent price. He kept us informed every step of the way and gave us plenty of time to make decisions. When we needed to have electrical and plumbing work done, Simon brought in great recommendations for people charging very reasonable prices. He installed a highly recommended waterproofing system and reinstalling tile to all the walls and floor of the shower. We are very grateful to have met Simon and know his quality work will last us years to come. I know that if we have remodel projects in our home in the future, we plan to use Simon.

I hired Simon to build a custom entertainment center in my family room. I had an idea of what I liked and didn’t like but Simon really helped walk me through some of the best options based on the space I have and the storage I wanted. He helped me to both modernize the space but also respect and maintain the century-home charm. He was so patient and helpful. While he was here working, he was always very clean and courteous. I get so many compliments on the built-in entertainment center. It’s truly gorgeous. Simon’s pricing was more than fair, especially considering the super high quality of the work and the custom construction. I recommend him to my friends and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Where to begin! I have to brag on a few employees. I have been so stressed doing a complete gut and remodel of our home. I do not really have an eye for design but I know what mood/inspiration/vibe I’d love to see in our forever home. We made an appointment with Daisy, an interior designer there, and she has been more than helpful. What was once an overwhelming project has become so exciting. Daisy went above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable with a degree in design, but also very patient and personable. I am so grateful to have had her help. Within 2 hours she has helped up pick most everything out and she really listened to what our vision was while giving us her honest input. She is a super star ⭐️

I also have to mention how impressed we are with the new store manager, Nick. He is so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. You can tell he really takes pride in his store and team. We have been coming to this floor and decor for a long time and have really seen the improvements he has implemented!

Last but not least, we really enjoy the security guard. He is friendly, attentive to the surroundings and even puts carts away (above and beyond if you ask us)

Talk about a huge selection! This store had everything we needed for our bathroom remodel and at decent prices. Plus, we were able to purchase everything one day and schedule the pickup for another day. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and we are so happy our contractor suggested this store.

Choices are tremendous. Lots of price points. Customer service when you have to order something that's low or out of stock is lacking. No call backs when promised, product not available when promised, changing stories with each person l talked to. I finally thought to ask if anyone had checked the floor stock. Guess what there was plenty available in store, that is how l eventually got our order filled.

We had the most amazing experience here today! Jay the designer was so helpful in picking out tile colors and styles and calculating the amount we needed for our project! We were so impressed with his knowledge and skill. Will definitely work with him again!

People should know that you need a couple hours and don't forget to bring a flask to take the edge off, this will help you with your decisions

We visited Floor & Decor a few weeks ago. We picked out shower marble and floor tile. We were helped by a young man we only know as ‘AJ’. So helpful loading the heavy items on our cart, making sure not to damage them and unloading them into our vehicle. Thank you for the pleasant experience! The lady at the cash register was also extremely helpful.

If you're looking for a flooring store that feels more like an abandoned warehouse in a sketchy part of town, Floor & Decor in Tacoma is exactly that. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, it’s obvious that security is an afterthought. The area feels unsafe, with sketchy activity nearby, and to make matters worse, their so-called security guard was literally inside playing games on his phone instead of doing anything remotely useful. If safety is a concern for you (as it should be), steer clear of this place.

Inside, things don’t get much better. The store feels chaotic, unorganized, and neglected. The staff is either indifferent or nonexistent when you need help, and good luck getting anyone to actually assist you with finding the right flooring materials. The atmosphere is unwelcoming, with a weird mix of dim lighting and a general sense that nobody cares.

On top of that, the clientele can be questionable, adding to the overall uncomfortable vibe. If you value your safety, sanity, and time, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other flooring stores in the area that don’t feel like a scene out of a bad movie. Stay away.

Super friendly environment, the warehouse and sales floor associates are all great! I recommend this place to anyone for any of their flooring needs. The guys in the warehouse Justin and Rhys are super great and very helpful, they helped my uncle with back problems load his whole order! Thanks

I stopped at floor and decor today for the first time to pick up everything that I need for my tile project. Ryan immediately came over to see what we needed and continued to help us off and on for the full four hours that we were there. He was so patient with all of our questions and extremely knowledgeable. I could not recommend floor and decor more due to the experience we had with Ryan.

My mom and I have been going to Floor & Decor because of their large selection- but even more so because of their helpful staff. AJ assisted us today and he was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He helped us pick out everything we needed for our bathroom renovation and he even loaded it into my car! Thank you, AJ, for being so helpful- you made our day!

I purchased the Prisma Gris floor tile at Floor & Decor and paired it with Daltile Restore subway tile from Home Depot. I had two really nice cashiers help me with sample purchases and returns. They were patient even though it was a slow process to scan or type in each little barcode.

They made it easy to drive up and pick up the tile. It was a bit of a wait to get the tile, but once I checked in, I was able to wait in my car until the tile was loaded.

The tile hasn't gotten much use yet since we're still in the construction phase, but it looks gorgeous. We found a nice pencil tile at Home Depot that compliments the flooring. (It's the Jeffrey Court tundra gray marble wall pencil tile.) The pencil tile was probably more than the floor, so I think we got a great deal at Floor & Decor. They have so many options and price points.

If you’re looking for a clean well organized flooring store with extremely friendly staff, this is your place. I was really impressed with their selection and the staff. Shout out to Jamal for helping me get everything I needed. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back for any glowing stuff I need in the future

Only a 4 star because they don't have the 10% military discount other floor and decor stores in Washington have.
