Phil took a look at our 100+ year old house on very short notice and was able to fix our issue. He also gave a lot of helpful advice and plan of action for other improvements. He was a real expert and can't wait to get more updates from him and his team in the future.

We had a great experience working with Tacoma Electric Service. They did a full rewire of our 1940s knob and tube house. We were a little nervous going into the job just because it's such a huge project, but TES made us feel a lot more comfortable going in and every step of the way. They were reliable, communicative, and it was obvious that they wanted to do the job well rather than rush through it. They were also really friendly to our pets and careful to make sure they weren't impacted too much by the process. The quote they gave us was slightly cheaper and much more detailed than other electricians we called, and it was true to what we paid in the end. When is was all done, it passed the permit inspection no problem. When small questions have come up since, Phil is always quick to respond, and someone has always come out to take care of any issues promptly. We'll definitely be calling them again if we need any more electrical work done.

Found these folks on RedIt after doing some research. Phil and Olivia were extremely thorough, Phil encouraged questions and it’s apparent that he really enjoys what he does. They even stayed and removed floor heaters after they were finished with the original job! I also think my floor was cleaner when they were finished than before they started lol Both Olivia and Phil were also un-phased by our 3 barking dogs. Never hesitate to use Tacoma Electric Service! They completed a full breaker panel replacement and installed some new lighting for us as well as helped with a few small electrical odds and ends. They were super flexible, communicative and on-time and it was easily the most seamless experience I’ve had when having work done on my home. Phil let us know about available rebates and went above and beyond to make sure the electrical updates we were doing fit our family the best. The quote was really reasonable for the amount of work completed and I cannot recommend Phil and his team enough!

An extremely professional and knowledgeable team that did an amazing job at a great price. In one day, they fixed multiple outlets, hooked up the heated floor for a master bathroom project and updated/ replaced an entire kitchen's cabinetry lighting. Beyond impressive work!

I received quotes from 6 different companies to replace the Federal Pacific Panels in my duplex. Tacoma Electric's pricing was extremely competitive and their quote was itemized so you knew exactly what you were purchasing. They set up a schedule with regard to my availability. They took care of all permits and inspections with the city. They did great work and upon completion of the project did a stupendous job of cleaning up. Phil and Liv were professional and friendly, always considerate. I highly recommend their services.

Phil is the man! Efficient, friendly, and priced fair. Came in and fixed a small issue in 20 minutes that one of the large companies couldn’t figure out in 2 hours.

It’s so refreshing after multiple calls to other electricians to have someone answer on the first call and be able to come out in a reasonable amount of time. Phil was able fix an outlet that had shorted out and when I tried to fix it myself I got in over my head when the receptacle box broke and fell behind the wall… Phil was also able to add a GFCI outlet in the bathroom of my old house that didn’t have one previously! Overall he’s a fantastic local electrician who’s personable, honest, and proud of the work he does. He’s coming back in a few weeks to replace my bathroom fan. Can’t recommend him enough!

I’d recommend anyone local get a quote through TES before going with any of the larger companies. No joke, saved me a few thousand dollars. Quality of work was still there and arguably better. A+!

Electrician provided excellent professional service. I requested for several light fixture installations at non existing areas in multiple rooms. He gave his professional suggestions for our options and consulted pricing. We agreed to accept the job. He came in on the scheduled time we agreed to, prepped the work area, did all his work in a efficient timely manner, and the results from his work looked great. All work was basically done in a day, and no mess was left behind. Cost for electrician job can vary based on the task at hand and I felt we had a great deal for the work that had been done.

The work Olivia did was great! She replaced my bathroom fan, which hadn’t worked for a few years. The fan was replaced with a higher quality fan and she fixed the duct work that a previous contractor hadn’t properly connected. Fast and friendly service! Will definitely turn to TES for future electrical needs.
