Besides the routine inspection and servicing we had 3 extra items that he replaced/ installed.
He explained his findings and provided us with the options using "best" to "better" ranking.
This helped with our decision making.

Hi, for the last several years, Pacific Heating and Cooling has been performing the annual tune-up on my American Standard furnace system. It’s been running great. Each of the technicians has been personable, informative, and clean; they wear protective shoe covers [ I have light coloured carpet in my entryway] and they’re always upfront about anything they see that can use improvement or replacement. Give them a call and see what they can offer.

Had routine maintenance done on our new system. The tech showed up early, and I appreciated the communication that this would happen. He was very thorough, checked multiple times to see if we had any questions, and made reasonable recommendations as to what could be done to keep our system running efficiently.

As a return customer, I’m happy to place this review. Pacific seems to hire some very friendly but extremely knowledgeable individuals. David was one of them. Very organized very thorough and didn’t try to shortcut anything although it might’ve taken them longer. I appreciate it all that personal attention. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain all the technical details of our furnace in a way that was easy to understand. He laid out the facts honestly without any pressure, which we really appreciated. Brandon was able to identify and fix the blower issue efficiently, and he also walked us through the furnace replacement options and financing process very clearly. Steve, the technician, is always so prompt, courteous, professional and very informative during the service calls. He has serviced my system for the past few years and I feel goes above and beyond to ensure the system is operating correctly by being extremely thorough.
The service department is very helpful scheduling appointments. A great feature of their service is communicating with text messages to notify you the technicians arrival time within the scheduled appointment window.

Our heating system was not working as expected. During a very cold morning we increased the heat & there was a delay in the heat. In an hour, the heat from 68 to 64. We called Pacific Heating & Cooling and a service crew member was at our home within a few hours.
He did a thorough assessment & resolved the issue. He also took some time to share essential info on how our heating system works & how to maximize functionality. Outstanding Rep.

Jessie arrived in a timely manner. She was cheerful and knowledgeable. She showed me pictures of the problem she found. She told me what was needed to fix it. She shared what the cost would be and got my permission to do the work. Overall the experience was great. My furnace was getting warm even before she was out the door. I would recommend this company and this technician.

The Mrs. and I decided it was time to replace our 20 year old heating and air conditioner. We called up Pacific Heating and Cooling and were in business less than a week later.

The install team arrived at the scheduled time and went straight to work. In a few short hours everything was done and tested. They even showed me all I needed to know about the new set-up.

Also included in the project was a request for a hot water heater stand. I wanted it off the floor so that I could lay a proper floor in the room. Not only did they meet my request, they exceeded it. They created a stand/leak pan in case the hot water heater leaks.

We now have a laundry/utility room that we can be proud of. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Everything went great. They followed through with what the sales guy said they were gonna do. Everyone was professional during install, they didn’t take any shortcuts and it came out looking really good across the board. They did a great job of communicating as they were doing the install and the system works without any issues at all.

Anthony was fine. Helpful and informative. Told me Pacific does not to manufacture warranty work on anything they didn’t install. Tried to upsell me to a $1500 PCB board that, as it turns out, was an incorrect diagnosis. A different contractor visited and walked me through their testing procedures and found nothing failing.

They advised me the system needed a hard reset when the problem I had call for occurred.

Simple and effective. Works fine now.

I called Pacific for the first time since I got my house in 2020 requesting a diagnostic test done on my furnace and they scheduled me for an appointment on same day and technician Isaiah came out and did the diagnostic test on the furnace. He was able to find the issue and he went over the options for the repair/ maintenance as well as signing up for the club membership. I’m very pleased with how he handled this issue as well as his genuine advice on what is the best solution to this issue in terms of getting a most effective option for the current situation. Had a great experience with Pacific Heating and Cooling. I had some unexpected concerns with my furnace, and they were able to quickly send out a very experienced technician, Andrew. He was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and efficient, and he took the time to answer all of my questions and address every concern thoroughly.

I’d highly recommend working with this company—and if possible, ask for Andrew, though I’m sure the rest of the team is excellent as well. The dispatch and scheduling staff were also very thorough, kind, and helpful throughout the process.

Pacific Heating and Cooling completely failed us when it mattered most.

They installed our HVAC system two years ago, but when a water heater leak flooded our home on February 17th and damaged the ductwork and crawl space, they were nowhere to be found. This was an active emergency involving gallons of water in the house, garage, crawl space, and HVAC system. When we contacted Pacific, the earliest they could even come look at it was three days later.

Because of the urgency, we had to bring in another company just to remove the HVAC unit so water remediation could begin. Even while the cleanup was happening, we continued trying to involve Pacific since it was their system. What followed was incredibly frustrating. They sent multiple people to our house but never provided a properly scoped quote, and unbelievably none of them even went into the crawl space where the actual damage was.

After more than a week of delays and confusion, we finally scheduled service for a critical Tuesday to inspect the final duct work and begin installation the next day so we could move back into our home. Instead, that morning Pacific sent a text saying that after “further review” of the job they were backing out entirely.

No explanation. No solution. Just walking away from the job while we were trying to recover from major water damage.

Southwest Plumbing stepped in and resolved the entire situation in a single day.

If you have a real emergency, do not rely on Pacific Heating and Cooling. When things actually matter, they waste time, fail to properly assess the job, and leave customers stranded.

Our technician, Brandon, was incredibly professional and thorough in his servicing of our furnace. He gave great advice and was able to explain the service he did with before and after pictures. As an added bonus, he likes cats and got along great with them.

You won’t make a bad decision by going with this company!

Jess absolutely the best! So helpful, full of information. He went above and beyond for us. My husband messed up the remote, Jess fixed it without laughing and he had every right to laugh. It was a wonderful experience, it was like meeting my best friend that I didn’t know that I’ve always had . Thank you oh so much!!
