Tried many times to contact but never got a call back

They have been my go-to plumbers for my 1905 craftsman home for the past 30 years. They do it right.

Didn’t use their services but one of their employees helped me out tremendously when my car needed a jump. I didn’t get his name sadly. He stayed in the heat and did a what he could to help.

Did great work for our church solving several plumbing problems that were created by other bigger name firms. Call Charly first and save yourself the headaches!

They quickly assessed and fixed the source of water leak and got my hot water going again. They were polite and very careful to avoid spills and cleaned up after themselves.

Can’t give these guys enough credit for being a standup company I can always count on. I wanted a new tankless water heater and was talked into a more affordable option that will actually give me what I want. Fantastic company!! 7/5 stars.

Hot water heater went out. Charly got it scheduled same day and Ryan, who did the work, was fabulous! Will definitely call again next time I need plumbing work!

After spending an hour with Charlie in my house going over a bathroom remodel -he said he would have an estimate in a week. He totally ghosted us! His office manager said she had talked with him in a week and had no clue if or when he was ever going to respond! We had to cancel our plans for adding a shower since we had a time crunch.

Updated review. They installed a new outside faucet, the piping broke and flooded the basement. Attempted to have this repaired by Mitchel, but was left dangling, and after several weeks of telephone tag, employed another company to fix the mess - at considerable additional cost. I think it’s important to look after customers and repair your work if required.

My grandmother needed to have her leaking faucet fixed. Kevin showed up and in 10 minutes “fixed” it. She mentioned that it was still dripping before he left and his response was “well it’s a lot better than it was.” That was a month ago and it’s still dripping constantly, so we’ll be searching for a new company to try and help her. Very disappointed.

Recently I had a hot water tank leaking. Mitchell plumbing were doing a job next door at my neighbors house. I walked over and asked them if they could assist me. They came over diagnosed the problem and had it fixed with in the hour. They saved me so much time and money. Very honest crew and very grateful they fixed my leak. Thank you.

Plumber was able to come out next day and fix the broken waste water line under our sink. He was quick, friendly and cleaned up after himself. Will definitely call Mitchel Plumbing in the future for plumbing repairs!

Mitchel Plumbing Co. provided a quality product (Bradford White water heater) at the most affordable rate of all the bids I obtained with the exact same service and warranty. Charly was one of the few who didn't come across like a salesman; he actually sounded down-to-earth and trustworthy. When the bill arrived, it was just under his quote. No surprises with his crew either: they were immensely helpful, honest, and hard-working.

We hired Mitchel Plumbing to install a boiler and raidiator system for hot water and heat. They did a wonderful job, and we are quite pleased with their work. Charly was personally interested in ensuring that we were completely happy with the job, even sending his crew out for one last adjustment just to be sure it was done the way we wanted it. Charly was helpful throughout the process, and I never got the sense that he was trying to overcharge for his services or sell us something we didn't want. In fact, he encouraged us to consider other more affordable options so we could make a well-informed decision. We would highly recommend Mitchel Plumbing.

Charlie came out to look at what was needed to replace our hot & cold water controls in our shower. He said it was an older Price Pfister setup, and that he would order the parts and be back in about 2 weeks to install them. After 2 weeks Charlie ghosted us too! I called the office, they said they'd need to talk to him to see what was going on, then no one ever called us back. I see from other reviews that this has happened before. How unprofessional and rude. Maybe its time to just close-up shop and retire if you're not going to take care of customers?

Mitchel Plumbing undertook a fairly large commercial development on an old building in Tacoma, needing complex solutions including a new water meter and an entirely new service, floor sinks and a grease interceptor, new bathrooms, and a brand new gas service and piping. Honestly, they've been the most important construction partner on our multifaceted project and they've been fantastic, across the board, for this small businessperson. Can't recommend Charly, Kevin, Robin and team highly enough. We'll work with them every opportunity we get and recommend you do same.

My go-to plumber has now changed. From Mitchel—who had been great for years. Friendly, courteous, but now not as capable of thinking outside the box any more for working on old homes—and communications can be iffy. Our shower hot water mixer stopped working—pipes probably needed clearing—two young men (only one was a licensed plumber) tried to fix, they cut this, removed that, blew out something else—ended up saying they’d get back to me the next week after Thanksgiving to plan an extensive resolution.

We had colds so let a week and a half go by before calling—supposedly they’d contacted a carpenter, but he had not called me. So I called for a second opinion. Which was done free of charge, took 5 minutes,—the plumber asked if the new kids had tried working the on/off dial to flush grit from the pipes….nope. Established plumber did—had hot water flowing in the blink of an eye.

If you’ve an old home, I’d recommend hiring plumbers who are used to working on older homes. Plus plumbers with way more experience. I still have no idea what I’m paying nearly $1000 for, as there are no notes attached to the bill as there used to be.

I understand times change—so I do appreciate all the good work in the past from Mitchel!

I requested that about five companies come to see my kitchen and give me a quote to replace some galvanized pipe. Everyone is friendly and asks a lot of determining questions to understand my situation and needs. However, almost all of them are adding extra work that I cannot afford. This is frustrating because I don't know much about the subject, so I feel unsure about determining what I need versus what the company thinks I should pay for, which I don't need.

Charlie was different tho,
He started the same as other companies' representatives, "what do you need and want," and then he stopped right there. He observed the kitchen took some note. Told me he would send me an email.

I even said, "Wait, that is it!?"

His visit was literally under 5 minutes. He even joked something like "well... if you have a tea, we can sit down and talk, I guess" (it was funny)

He listened to what I needed and what I could afford. That is all I needed. His vit was also clear about what I need and what they can do. No frustration on my part, I called them right away and scheduled their service.

Then Kevin and Riley came to execute what needs to be done. Kevin gave me an idea of the noise and timing because I had worked from home before they started their task. They completed the project skillfully and efficiently. They also cleaned up after their work. I know this is a small thing, but I experienced a lot when service professionals leave their mess. They are genuinely plumbing experts who excel at what they do.

I really appreciate Mitchel Plumbing Co's professionalism and clear communication. I will no longer need to find another plumbing company to work on my house!

You couldn't ask for better plumbing service. The team was professional and made sure everything was spotless before they left. I need to have my main sewer line rootered every couple of years, and I won't be calling anyone else from now on. Bobby did a great job, was very polite, and explained everything clearly. The work was done quickly and my pipes have been running smoothly ever since. I highly recommend their plumbing services in Tacoma!

I needed my water heater replaced late in the afternoon, and after trying several plumbers with no luck, I finally got in touch with a local plumbing company in Tacoma. Bobby and Gabriel showed up quickly, even though it was already evening, and gave me a free estimate. They told me they could do the job the very next day. Bobby, Gabriel, and Willie arrived right on time, replaced my water heater, installed a new shut off valve to make sure everything was up to code, and also changed out the gas line for my new stove. They were very friendly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood everything. I will definitely call them again if I need plumbing work in the future.
