My entire experience was professional, efficient, and pleasant.
I had two evaluations of my gas fireplace, the first had to call me to figure out how to light the pilot light and then told me it was the thermocouple and that they would have to replace other pieces with some sort of excuse about warranty with a 1k+ price tag.
Tri-tech from the person who set up the appointments pleasant demeanor to the guy who went over and got it to work without needing to replace any parts and was clearly knowledgeable in his trade and shared the details of what all was occurring with me patiently, and my trepidation about the initial flat fee that comes to ~$250 before parts, I can say now money well spent and a wonderful experience.

Review of Tri Tech Heating & Cooling

In August, we contacted Tri Tech Heating & Cooling for a consultation regarding the installation of an air conditioner. Several years ago, we had hired them to install our heater.

Our sales representative was Ansen. After discussing our requirements, he inquired about the presence of the cooling coil, which we unfortunately did not have. Ansen then took measurements and assessed the installation area for the AC. Later that evening, he provided us with three quotes. Two of them were for louder outside units, while one offered a quieter, energy-efficient York AC. We opted for the quiet York AC.

We proceeded to make the deposit, and Tri Tech promptly scheduled our installation. On the day of installation, Triston and Josh arrived, discussing the process with us. They were not only super friendly but also highly professional. The installation spanned two days, and upon completion, they explained the thermostat operation and programming.

I waited a few months before posting this review to assess how the AC and heater worked together over time.

In conclusion, if you are in the market for a heater, AC, or a combination of both, Tri Tech is my top recommendation.

I had a service of my propane fireplace, the appliance had never been serviced. The tech was very professional, super polite and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and showed me why I was having issues.
He cleaned everything and it looked new when he was finished.

The Tri Tech team has been wonderful to work with. When we moved into our home in 2022, we used a different HVAC company to install our mini-splits, and for years it was a hassle. They had to come out frequently and even managed to install the machines improperly which caused a long list of issues. We switched to Tri Tech about a year ago and have had zero problems. Zach did a great job explaining the issue and getting it resolved quickly. I highly recommend them!

Our AC went down and we asked several places to offer a bid on replacing our furnace and AC. Ansen at Tri Tech came out and reviewed our needs and was very informative in the bidding process. Due to price and the trust built by Tri Tech, we went with them. Richard and Allysa came and demo'ed/replaced our current equipment. They both were hardworking and efficient, and answered all our questions. We are very happy with the service and price from Tri Tech and would recommend them for your project.

I bought a heating and cooling pump last year and it’s changed my life. The summer is usually the most painful time in the year but s this year I have been the most comfortable and relaxed I have been in years. Tri-Tech gives you a free cleaning and check up after one year. One of their technicians, Tony, came in to do it and he was wonderful about answering any questions I had. I live this company.

I appreciated that I was called to say the tech was running late. He did get there and did his ut most best to finish in the 45 minutes I had before I had to leave. He was polite, thorough, gave me some pointers on care and maintenance ( and how to start it easier in fall)! He lived up to the high standard I always expect from tri-tech.

We got in contact with Robin and Caitlin who were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our inquiry. Our consultant, Ray, was punctual and professional. He answered all of our questions, addressed our concerns, and walked us through the entire process with confidence.
Our installers, Caleb and Alonzo, were polite and ready to work! They called ahead, explained the process, and made sure we were all on the same page about what was going to be done. Caleb and Alonzo’s expertise was evident, and both installers took pride in their work. They went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service. The installation was completed and we were very impressed with their attention to detail. We are very happy with the quality of the unit in our multi level home. We have been pleasantly surprised to see how it has cooled down our home in the hot weather and can’t wait to see how it does in the winter months. Tri-Tech has truly earned our trust and appreciation. Every team member we interacted with was professional and committed to excellent service. We highly recommend Tri-Tech for anyone considering HVAC services!

We use Tritec heating for our spring and winter services. Their staff are very knowledgeable and super helpful. I highly recommend them. Taylor and Zach are our favorite technicians, but I’m sure they’re all fantastic!

Tony from Tri-tech repaired our gas fireplace and did a great job. Although it didn’t get fixed on first visit, they performed a free follow up visit to continue diagnosing the problem and solved the issue without expensive parts replacements. Will definitely use them again for our next heating issues.

I was sorely disappointed to find out that Tri Tech proposed a quote of $1400 to do a leak detection after recharging my A/C. I got a second opinion and the other company said the leak was so bad and blatantly obvious that they could not charge me and still have integrity. I was shocked because I have been using Tri Tech and was considering some big jobs with them. This is outright thievery. I tried to explain to the manager how wrong this is but they refuse to listen or discuss options. Now I Get a phone call or email non stop wanting to discuss payment options. If you want a GREAT HVAC company, follow my reviews and see who I wrote a good review for. Tri tech either has a technician who is not properly qualified or they are corrupt and overcharging for the most basic thing. I feel bad writing this review because I think most of the employees are nice and human, somewhere the owner or manager or business policy is a disaster. I have had errors or mistakes made with another Vancouver HVAC COMPANY 5 years ago when I had 6 rentals. The tech broke 4/6 on a routine maintenance call, I didn’t even write a bad review for them because they did their best to remedy the situation. That is good customer service, remedy what you did wrong.

We had our non-working propane gas fireplace serviced by Tony of Tri-Tech Heating. He was respectful, communicative, tidy and thorough. When he was done with his work, he saw something that he thought was non-standard and took the time to verify operation with both his management and the original manufacturer of the fireplace. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. I will definitely use Tri-Tech again.
