Platt in genwral is a great place, this location - if you didn't already know where it was you would miss it. Hard to see, hidden by overgrowth and no address markings.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff! Helped show me all the possible solutions to my problem, let me try parts out on the piece that I brought in. Will definitely be back due to the selection and experience compared to the big box stores.

Friendly, courteous, and careless. Very poor when it comes to order accuracy. They seem to regularly substitute brands, colors, and model numbers with out consulting the customer, and often will not enter a phoned in order into the computer system till the next afternoon. This can add weeks the length of your project waiting for the correct parts, and days of lost productivity.

If you are ordering from Platt over the phone, I highly recommend using Bellevue or Preston, those two stores do much more volume with the same size staff, but they don't mess around with your order.

Great service, and the price was better than Home Depot.

I've used Strands Electric for a few years now and their work is excellent. They are a small business so expect a delay, as they are usually booked out for a couple weeks. I still highly recommend them because the quality of work is well worth it, they just may not be the best to use if it's an urgent issue.

Previously worked Strands when I had a downtown condo. Now I’m out in West Seattle and just had another fantastic experience working with Daniel and Moses on adding NEMA 14-50 and 20A outlets to our garage and installing a new video doorbell. We had to wait a bit due to COVID delays but super pleased with the result. Already planning the next few projects for Daniel to knock out.

Working with Daniel from Strands Electric has been great. He not only gets the job done efficiently and well, but also takes the trouble to explain the work so that you're in the know about your home.

He came by to install several timer lights, and carefully walked us through their functionality and setting them up.

We had an issue with a flickering light after he came by, and Daniel was great in returning to investigate the problem. Turns out it wasn't even a result of his work; but he still refused to take payment for the follow-up visit. Again, he meticulously explained to us what the problem might be, and suggested how we might be able to fix it.

Overall this a service that I would certainly recommend, and Strands Electric will be our go-to people for future electrical work on our home.

Strand Electric is a small business. Daniel the owner and lead electrician is just a beacon of professionalism, practicality, and quality work. Intelligent, patient, and always on schedule too! Daniel and Moses have helped us with 2 homes. Everything from indoor, outdoor light fixtures, outlets, fans, exhaust fans, switches, re-wiring, they've done it all. This is the only team I'll trust with my home electrical projects!

What a great local business. We’ve had the opportunity to work with Sam and Daniel through a mutual friend, and since then they have helped us on both professional and personal projects. Every time they have great attention to detail and are very knowledgeable. I had a loose connection at my house and Daniel gave me some advice over the phone because I wanted to try and fix it before he was available. I searched and searched and search with no success. He got out as quick as he could and found a junction box that previous owners had drywalled over! Ugh! So grateful I had their help and expertise!
