Mike was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond.

Staff was super friendly and easy to schedule. The technician who came out was very nice, attempted to auger my main line, but was unable to fix my slow draining toilet. I was given a $6,400 quote to replace my main line and get everything up to code (my house was built in 1937) and was told that would fix the problem.

I got a second option and was told that my problem was a clogged air vent. A couple hours and a couple hundred dollars later my plumbing was fixed -- cheaper than what I was charged when Mr. Rooter came out.,

Absolutely recommending anyone to Mr. Rooter that needs plumbing done! Mike came out and was not only so friendly and efficient, he made sure we were taken care of in every aspect!

I called 10 minutes before they closed with a TON of issues and they were able to get Mike to come out to quote me the next day!! The day after that he came and fixed all my projects in less than 6 hours! This included my water heater being replaced!

He was so full of information and suggestions, definitely a keeper!

We have 2 bigger dogs that like to bark, but that was no problem as Mike loved on them and even let them say hi!

Not happy with service from Mr. Rooter.
My garbage disposal went out a couple months ago so I called Mr. Rooter and Mike came and installed a new one.
He told me that this new one was a little smaller and “it may shake a little” but said it would work fine. After a month of using it, the plastic drain attached to it worked itself off from the main drain line because of the shaking. I was able to reattach the drain line with no problem but then I noticed that there was some leaking around the top where the disposal is attached under the sink. I investigated further and saw some screws loose and then knew that the shaking from the garbage disposal Mike installed was causing the problem. I believe he installed the wrong size disposal from what he told me before.

So I called Mr. Rooter up late on a Friday after hours leaving a message to ask if they could come look at it. It was still under warranty.
I was pleasantly surprised when they called me back on the weekend and set up an appointment with me for the coming Monday, hoping they would fix their mistake.

Mike came, looked, and made the wrong assumption that someone tried unscrewing the garbage disposal from the sink. He also said this made the warranty invalid. I was at work and he relayed this information to my wife who was also surprised. No one did anything to the garbage disposal. It was leaking because either he installed the wrong one or he didn’t install it correctly. Since he’s a licensed plumber I believe he installed it correctly but he didn’t install the right size one for my sink.

This is bad because now it looks like I have to eat the cost of a new garbage disposal and the cost of labor for reinstalling it.
The right thing for Mr. Rooter to do is for Mike to come back and reinstall a better garbage disposal. I will pay for the new one since at the time I agreed to the garbage disposal, not understanding the risks involved. But I should not have to pay for the labor since Mike knew that it would be shaking too much and would cause problems later.

If Mr. Rooter will fix this I’ll give them 5 stars and everything will be fine. Right now I am considering my options.

Mr Rooter was unable to clear the clog from the sewer line but did scope the line with camera and marked the location on the major blockage. When one does a google map search for roto-rooter, Mr rooter shows up and they are not the same firm.

Great service, Mike came in and solved my issues and explained everything very clearly. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will request Mike.

We had a blockage in our lateral sewer line. After one failed attempt from another plumber, followed by a $1,700 quote from a large plumbing company in Charleston, I called Mr. Rooter. They gave me an up front estimate that was spot on. They sent Mike out the next day, and he had my pipes completely cleared in less than two hours for less than a quarter the price the other company wanted. He was very professional and great to work with.

I would highly recommend this company. They were willing to fix the problem without trying to upsell me on larger projects. They will be our go-to plumbing service from now on.

I called Mr. Rooter due to my frozen water pipes… Michael and his assistant (I can’t remember his name 😣) were EXCELLENT! From the moment they arrived, they were up front about the cost and kept us updated on the rising cost as we asked them to do/check other issues. They went above and beyond to get our water running and look for the potential causes and fixes that we can perform ourselves. I will now use Mr. Rooter for all my plumbing needs!

i have nothing to say about their work but a driver cut me off, went well over the speed limit and was swerving. most ridiculous thing i've seen

Micheal was amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything and wasn’t pushy about suggestions that he had. He arrived at the beginning of the time frame that was estimated. Work area was cleaned up and they had drop sheets to make it as clean as possible. They had all the necessary equipment and parts and didn’t have to leave to get more parts to completed, which I thought was great. He made sure after the job was completed that everything was working in proper order and that I was satisfied with the repairs before leaving. Gave me his card to be able to use him in the future. Overall great experience!!! Would highly recommend!!!

Arrived on time, very knowledgeable. Mike redid some shoddy work by previous plumber, including adding a vent that had been disconnected. He thoroughly explained my drain issues so that I can prevent problems in the future.

Mike showed up within 30 minutes of my initial call to Mr Rooter and had my disposal fixed in under an hour. He was efficient and polite. He explained everything he was doing and demonstrated the working disposal before he left. Highly recommend!

Had Mike come out and fix a clogged drain. Showed me everything he was doing and helped me with preventive maintenance to keep it from happening again. Great service and very friendly guy!
