Danny and Jason did an excellent job with servicing the boiler and fixing the water issue with our AC. Danielle was great reminding us of our appointment.

Danny the repairman has been to our home twice and has now become a very welcome visitor on an annual basis. He is very courteous and friendly in an old school way, and is as competent as possible in working with our furnace. He also detected damage done to our sprinkler system due to his prior experience in lawn maintenance! In that regard he was a godsend. Cooperative, respectful, kind, astute. He is a great reflection on his employer.

Danny and Kennedy came out to tune up our furnaces and found some serious issues that we have to address. I am thankful that they took the time to fully explain them and provide solutions!

Special thanks to Drew, Bob, and Elliot who installed my mother’s new furnace in the middle of a blizzard. It was an emergency and hers went out and temperatures were dropping rapidly. They were exceptionally polite to us both and she is elderly. Their patience with all her questions and kindness towards her is priceless to me personally with fast prompt professional service. The quality of work was excellent. The house is nice and toasty. I highly recommend Bernhardt, and thank you.

Tony and Andy from Burkhardt Heating and Cooling installed a new air conditioner in my home today. They were efficient, professional and treated me with respect. They showed up on time and were efficient in completing the job. They took me through every step of the job and showed me what they were doing along the way so I could easily understand.

Cons:
Exorbitant. They replaced a fill valve and flapper in a toilet sink. I checked online and it could cost 200 + diagnostic/visit fee at the higher end. But how much did this cost? Just over $500 with diagnostic (visit) fee and parts included.

Even considering a plumber's hourly rate, this pricing is pretty high.

The parts by themselves would cost about $20 at a hardware store.

EDIT: Later, I discovered that the replacement was bad and my water usage was 4 times the usual amount because of the flapper. I replaced it and set the length myself. I paid about $400 more because of the water leak.

Overpriced, unprofessional and they apparently lost the records of the work they performed on my property. Made a mess of the place and shoved a bunch of paper towels in the pipes. I am no plumber, but that doesn't seem like a good idea.

We experienced a leaking water heater. The customer service personnel was friendly and professional. Our appointment for the water heater replacement was in a reasonable amount of time. The service technician was friendly and professional. Gerson was fast , clean and efficient. He was the ultimate representative for Burkhardt a 10 out of 10 experience.

We had to call on a Saturday for emergency service and Danny responded quickly and got our heat back up and running on a very cold 12 degree day! Highly recommend

Chris was awesome he did exactly what I needed didn’t push me into doing something I wasn’t comfortable. He exemplified customer service, hats off. My ac is working and isn’t making any bubbling noises or freezing up so far. Best part, It was CHEAPER than the initial estimate to top my refrigerant off and he threw in the deal for free diagnostics with a website coupon. He did warn me that it’s only a matter of time but respected my wants and needs too. Overall I had a great experience and you guys got me dialed in thank you.

Scheduled service next day, technician was very informative and knowledgeable. Jessica in the office was very helpful and friendly. Elliot was quick to provide a quote same day as service. He was sure we understood our options. Troy and Andy completed our install flawlessly. They accommodated our schedule allowing us not to be home and completing the work with no issues.

At 7am on Friday August 9th , we are water in the walls. I was able to shut of the water to both units of the house to avoid further damage. I called 8 plumbing companies and only 1 stepped up to the plate. Thank you Nicole for reaching out to Dan who answered my SOS. The other companies told it would be 4 to 6 days before they could send someone out. Burkhardt sent Dan out same day to diagnosed the issue and restored water to the lower unit. Dan and Tae returned on Monday to provide the fix to my issue. Dan thank you for preserving my ceiling by cutting a neat whole. Dan and Tae thank you for being professional, friendly and communicating with me throughout this process. The pictures posted is an expensive repair of the same pipe 2 years ago. They actually got over on me because i was not here during the 4 week repair that included a complete gutting of my bathroom. The other picture shows todays repairs. I will be using Burkhardt for all future needs. Job well done!

Chris was kind, considerate, and communicative. I really appreciate that he found a temporary solution to my furnace not working while they ordered the new part and ensured that if the temporary solution didn’t hold they would come back.

When Danny came to do my fall tune-up he was very professional and courteous. He explained everything he was checking as he was doing it. Very thorough I thought.

Very professional from start to finish the technicians were Topflite. Our service was wonderful. Everything is well. We initially got one furnace and then the next week we got another furnace and then we had them come and blow out our duct very professional. We are so excited that we took care of this before the winter time, we have always had a service warranty and have never had any problems receiving service even though we live on the north side of Milwaukee Burkhardt heating and cooling was available to us five star rating. We also use them for all of our commercial building needs from installing central air to coded HVAC. We trust them with our commercial businesses.
