We had a great experience with Gary from Jackson Hardware Heating and Air Conditioning. Our 25 yr old furnace had given up the ghost so I had several companies out. We picked Gary because he was honest and performed the appropriate tests to see if our furnace was working or not. He replaced our furnace two days later and he had two other men working with him. They were finished by 1100 in the morning. They left my basement cleaner than when they came and explained everything to me. Gary even made a fort out of the furnace box for my three yr old son. He decorated the fort with toys and made windows and a door. Gary went above and beyond! We will have him out in the spring to replace out air conditioner. I highly recommend Jackson Hardware Heating and Air Conditioning! Thanks Gary, Tom, and Ike!

We have been having tune ups from Tony at JHHAC several years now. They also installed our A/C in 2012, hooked up natural gas line to our back- up generator and recently installed our new furnace. Gary and his team are pleasant and friendly as well thorough and trustworthy. They are consistently on time even calling 15-30 minutes prior to arrival for tune up. They are clean and tidy up so no mess is left behind. Gary and Tony are very informative. I'm sure that they would have more answers if I would have had more questions at the recent installation. I had my old furnace replaced with a Lennox system from Jackson Heating and Air on 10/24/19.

Gary, Mike, and Tom showed up on-time, removed the old furnace, got the new furnace installed, balanced, and up and running in a little more than 3 hours from start to finish! The old carrier was hauled away and the work area was spotless when they left.

I am very impressed with the Jackson H&A team, their quality work, and professionalism.

The firm's owner, who had serviced my heating and AC for many years, retired, and the business sold. The firm that purchased the company provided an annual maintenance call, which lasted less than 30 minutes, which convinced me I needed to move on to another company.

Wes from Jackson Heating and HVAC recently provided a yearly maintenance call, which was thorough, professional, and friendly. I will look to them for support for many years.

I called six places near me for a furnace humidifier. Only 2 got back to me. One took 3 days and Gary of Jackson Hardware who was on a job returned my call quickly the same day I called. His price was fair so we set a day for the work. He called early that morning to confirm if time was still good and arrived on the job 30 minutes later with Mike. They knew what they were doing and finished quickly without any disruption or mess. He did a good job explaining all things important and we now have humidity levels that are healthier. Great job guys! I do recommend this company.

Gary came over to quickly access the problem we had with our furnace. He was able to make adjustments to keep the furnace running to keep us warm. He had taken the call later on Christmas night to let us know his plans for the repair. The next day several price options were mentioned on the how to repair the unit. He explained the benefits and pricing for each of the two options. The repair even included a full tune up to ensure the entire furnace was operating properly and efficiently.

Gary was fair and honest and communicated exactly when he would conduct the furnace repair. The service was done on time and was very thorough. I have used Jackson Hardware Heating twice now and both times they have surpassed all expectations. All service companies could learn a lesson from Gary’s team. Both times they gave me plenty of clear advise what I could be doing better in my heating and cooling set up in regards of air flow. Very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, thorough technical staff. Both times they did not rush through the job and took the time to leave the job and customer set up properly with no need for any return visits to complete the job. We had a furnace issue and Gary came to take a look. Our existing unit is 20 years old and needed a replacement circuit board. Gary was very kind and thorough in discussing options with us, no pressure and no hard sales tactics. We chose to replace the unit and Gary sealed the deal with a handshake. Installation was 4 days later, went off without a hitch and now we have new furnace for the winter. Great job, friendly, courteous, and thorough. The Jackson Hardware Heating and Air Conditioning crew were here this morning, on time, at 8:30am. They were replacing a 20 year old furnace in our Mobile Home. It was not an easy take out and install, but, Gary and his crew handled it with relative ease and professionalism. They took the utmost care of our home and property and when they left you couldn't tell they were here. When finished with the install, Gary checked all the connections for leaks and the vents for air flow. He also checked the thermostat to make sure it was properly installed. They were done with the job shortly before noon and I can't say enough good things about their service and their prices. We just had a new furnace put in our home! I have never had a better experience! Not only are they professional but wonderfully friendly, punctual and hard working. They had our old furnace removed and the new one up and running in less than 4 hours. This company is affordable and honest. Gary was a straight shooter who did not try to up sell but made sure we had a very good system that will meet our needs. Our home is toasty warm and we could not be any happier with how much better it is heating our home. Our AC wasn't working properly so we called Jackson Hardware Heating and Air Conditioning. Gary came out and fixed it the very next day! He was very friendly, professional, and got the job done quickly for a very reasonable rate. He also gave me some tips about closing dampers in the basement so I'm not spending so much money cooling my basement, too, which is already cold. I really appreciated it. Came home from being gone for a week on a Sunday and our furnace was out. We called JHHAC and Gary was at our house in 25 minutes. We knew we would need a new furnace because ours was 33 years. The next morning Gary installed a new furnace. They are professional, and the real deal to work with. We would recommend them for any of your heating or air-conditioning needs.

My wife and I called as we had lost our air conditioning unit just before a heat wave. Gary and his team were able to schedule service to our house the next day and were able to install a new unit. The whole process was very quick and professional. Gary took us through the new unit and explained the upgrades from the previous. With this Gary pointed us to the right unit for our house. We had Jackson Hardware Heating & Air at our place to install a new smart ECOBEE thermostat. We didn't have a power wire (C) for our current thermostat, and they easily got around that. They had us download the app for our iPhone and helped us configure it. It works great and the whole process took just under an hour. The person who did the install was very nice and helpful. We have used Jackson Hardware twice in the past and have not had any issues. I recommend them.

Called when our furnace wouldn’t start up. Tony called back within 30min and listened to my troubleshooting. Next day he came out and diagnosed the issue — long story short, we ended up buying a new furnace because of the current one’s age and cost to repair. Within the hour, we had a quote along with Gary and his crew in our basement - installing our new Lennox furnace. Start to finish, the job was about 3 hours to remove and install. Pleasant and polite crew. Very clear on functions and features of the new system. Took care of replacing our humidifier filter. Gave some tips and tricks, and answered several questions. Left everything as clean as it was. Really worked out well, given the cold temps are coming. Thanks!

I tried to schedule a furnace repair with this company last week when our heat went out. They didn’t have availability until several days later, but I booked an appointment anyway in case they could fit us in sooner. Fortunately, another company was able to come the same day, so I called and canceled the appointment — trying to be courteous and not waste their time.

This week, we needed a second opinion, so I called them back to schedule. Instead of helping, they told us they wouldn’t work with us because we had canceled the previous appointment and that we should “just go with the other company.”

I completely understand policies and busy schedules, but refusing future service to someone who canceled politely and in advance feels really unprofessional. I was simply trying to get heat restored in freezing weather, not cause problems. Unfortunately, this kind of treatment guarantees I won’t be calling them again.

I had just installed a light fixture and started to smell smoke. The smell was strong in the basement where the circuit box is located. I called with concern that my handiwork could be the potential cause of an electrical fire. Brian was professional and thoroughly checked everything but found no indication of an electrical problem. We stepped outside and discovered my neighbor was using their fire pit in the backyard and the smoke smell was likely coming in through the intake for the furnace. Brian was kind and did not judge. Though the call ended up being unnecessary, I was glad to have a nice technician and the peace of mind that all was well.

I called on a Monday and they were able to come out for an estimate on that Wednesday. Chris came out for the estimate and was here right on time, was very understanding of what we wanted and gave us great suggestions for how we could get it done. We set up an appointment and they were able to come within the next 2 weeks (probably could have been sooner without the holidays in between.)

We had 4 outlets installed in our basement so we can finally use it for more than just a washer/dryer. The electrician, Neil, was right on time also and finished quicker than the time estimated. The work definitely seems of great quality and was exactly what we asked for. The price seemed very reasonable for the work done.

The service on all fronts was very friendly and knowledgeable. And we will definitely going back to Mr. Holland for future needs!

We worked with Mr. Holland's over the summer to replace the old HVAC setup in our house. They were easy to schedule for a free no-pressure quote and were thorough in their questioning of our needs and desires for our new system.

After obtaining quotes from several different local providers, Mr. Holland's gave us what we deemed to be the best system at the best price. They even included a maintenance plan, so we don't have to fret over upkeep and inspections of the system!

Installation was done in less than a day and perhaps more impressive, they did a post-job inspection and found a small error which was quickly addressed. That's a high level of workmanship that isn't always present when hiring home service contractors these days.

If something would happen to our system down the line, I have confidence that Mr. Hollands would be there to address the issue in a swift and courteous manner.
