Nicole is great at responding quickly to any and all questions with a friendly and honest demeanor. The technician’s name was Antonio, and he went above and beyond. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and didn’t mind my questions about the steps he took to quickly resolve the issue. He was very polite and genuinely cared about fixing the problem.

Friendly and honest folks, did a pretty good job.

Some things required some rework (e.g. they initially installed some very visible wires to the outside of our home, as one example). So that took some extra time and effort. But when it was all said and done, they did a good job with everything!

Chris did an excellent job on both my house and my son’s. I didn’t know about Walkowiak beforehand. I read their reviews and took a shot. It was well worth it. Carl, the office was very helpful as well. Plus the estimates given was the price I paid.

We love Walkowiak electric. They were the electrician service we used for a kitchen remodel and they were wonderful. Carl always calls and updates you of any schedule changes and makes sure the time works for you and you family. Because they were so professional and affordable we used them again for future projects. I am so glad we found this company.

My wife and I have had major renovation work done at all 5 homes we have owned over 35 years, mostly older and/or historic. Current home built in 1880. We have lots of experience hiring and working with contractors. Walkowiak is the kind of contractor you want for your project.

Everyone from start to finish was very professional. Everyone I dealt with at the office over the phone and via e-mail were very helpful and polite. The technician was prompt, professional, and did great work. We would definitely use them again!

Quote, scheduling, and work were all professional. Cost was competitive with others, not the lowest but they could get me in soonest. The electrician they sent ended up being here all day for the work, whereas dispatch said there were gonna be two electricians for 4 hours of work. The one guy handled it well, but it would been less rushed if the crew of two was there.

All three service technicians who worked on my kitchen were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, hardworking (the guy here today, James, worked nonstop for over seven hours), and very courteous. I had a great experience with Walkowaik. The electricians were professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them for any electrical work.

The folks at Walkowiak Electric were incredibly cordial, from the people in the back office scheduling all the way through installation. Even though they faced challenges, there were no delays and they worked hard to ensure everything was back in one piece prior to leaving on Friday evening (it was a very big job).

They had a great attention to detail, respect for property, and even more so understanding of what the installation was trying to accomplish. From the estimate to the installation, I never had to tell Tim/Carl anything twice and they worked with me every step of the way. Very excited to have my detached garage power working again and I can rest easy knowing it was done properly and with care.

Big thanks to everyone on the team! Will definitely be calling for some more minor power and lighting jobs. Appreciate all the hard work.

UPDATE:

Lowering the review to 3 stars. I had to follow up with the back office to get them to charge me for the job, and subsequently schedule and appointment with the inspector. Not happy with the promises of a quick turnaround and the lack of follow through on getting the job to completion.

Will still call them for additional work that is required, but with the expectation that scheduling may not work out based on their estimation.

UPDATE 9/3/2020:

Increasing the review back to 5 stars. The owner Dan took time out of his schedule to ensure the inspection was done right and promptly on the newly scheduled time. The back office proactively reached out and took full responsibility for their miscalculation in scheduling. I could not have asked for a better handling of the setbacks we have faced and it says a lot about Walkowiak Electric as a company that they actively reach out to their customers to make things right. I have full faith that when we come across any additional electrical work in the area, they will come through 110%.

We had just moved into our two unit house when the power went out suddenly at midnight our first night in the house. Antonio came out before noon the next day. He was efficient and very helpful. He informed me that the meters for the two units were mislabeled. So while we thought we had changed over service with WE Energies for both units we had only started service on one. We were very grateful for Antonio informing of this quickly and answering all our questions.

I called on a Wednesday afternoon because my bathroom light would not turn off. Was able to schedule an appointment Friday morning, which was great. I got a confirmation text and email of the appointment. I also got a text and call on Friday morning when the electrician was heading my way. The best feature, in my opinion, is that I was texted a photo of the electrician. As someone who lives alone, this is important for my safety.

Work was done well and quickly. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me some information to upgrade my wiring - my house is old - but there was no hard sell. Very pleased with service.

Pricing is good and they are upfront on cost when you schedule your appointment.

Jim was very nice & hardworking. He explained how he found the electric box in the basement & put up beautiful recessed lighting in the ceiling! We are very pleased & happy with his work! Thank you 👍😀

Highly recommend Walkowiak Electric! We have worked with them twice now, and both experiences were phenomenal. We worked with James and then Tim, and both were incredibly professional, helpful and kind. James installed a ceiling fan for us quickly, and then Tim installed outlets for us. Amazing work!

Very nice but I feel I was greatly overcharged. I had small voltage line I wanted installed. I hear loud hammering noise in my basement to find the electrician ended up removing out several bricks in my basement and charging me nearly $400. He did not clean up. I sit here months later very disappointed and feel taken advantage of. I have hired other electricians who were upfront on anticipated and much more reasonably priced. The work was great but the price was obnoxious

Great Customer Service from the start. I worked with Nicole and one other lady who helped me with scheduling and using the correct terminology. Bob, the electrician was prompt, transparent, and effective! Thank you for everything.

Apparently their first hour of labor doesn’t actually include any labor. They had an additional add on from what they said over the phone beyond material. It cost me 200 bucks to have an outlet put in. He also didn’t bother to clean up his mess. I don’t think I would use them again.

I have had a truly incredible experience with Walkowiak Electric. Their scheduling process is a breeze and they have almost immediate availability. Their front office staff is friendly as could be. The electrician they sent, James, was so knowledgable, easygoing, but meticulous in his work and did an absolutely wonderful job. The entire process with this company has been - dare I say - blissful? I have almost never had an easier interaction with a contractor. I also mentioned offhand some additional work I wanted done while their electrician was here and he was able to document it on my account for next time which made scheduling it so so easy. They were able to send the same electrician both times I have used them which is really nice for consistency's sake. I wish I had found Walkowiak looooong ago as I have been through 2 other electricians with mixed results. I will always use Walkowiak from now on! Thank you so much!

Terrific experience with Bob and Junior completing work at our home! They were professional, knowledgeable, easy to approach with questions or discuss options, work area always clean and provided thorough quality work. Would highly recommend their services!

I've had them come out twice for two separate items. First time was to replace all outlets and to take a look at my circuit panel. Everyone throughout the entire process was very good at communicating price, times and was very courteous.

The second time was to initially install new ceiling lights and deactivate a light switch, but I changed my mind and they had no issues adjusting the work order. Very professional and courteous experience overall.
