We had a kitchen drainage issue so I shopped around for a plumber. Black Cat came highly recommended by a friend. They were able to get us scheduled sooner (next day) and at a more affordable rate than others in the area. They totally fixed our issue in less than an hour (!!) and also gave me some great advice and information regarding our system. No mess left behind or anything, super considerate! Worth mentioning - I also felt totally safe/comfortable as a woman alone with a stranger in my house. I was also super impressed with their invoicing - just about every payment method was available (including Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal)! Black Cat Plumbing has done work at my house a few times now. They installed a water heater at my house over a year ago and have done some shower plumbing during bathroom remodels. This has included installing new copper plumbing for a new shower head and converting a two-handles to single-handle fixtures. In both instances the jobs were done in a timely manner. The workspaces were kept clean and most importantly we’ve had zero issues with the work. I would highly recommend hiring Black Cat Plumbing for any plumbing needs. David and Shaun have been handling the plumbing at my house and rental properties for a few years. They've installed and repaired showers, sinks and toilets. They've repaired gas lines, the main valves to a building and worked on the venting for hot water heaters. They are very trustworthy; always give me good advice and are quick to respond. In the past I have had some bad experiences with plumbers so it was refreshing to have a young experienced plumber with a great attitude fix more problems that I had originally booked him for. Black Cat did an AMAZING job with fixing our 100+ year old bathroom sink that I’m quite sure other companies would haven’t even attempted! They put in a filter water system in our kitchen with ZERO damage to the quartz countertop.

In 2024, David and Shaun from Black Cat Plumbing replaced the old plumbing in our 1956 ranch home, because the water pipes were nearing the end of their functional life. They also did other work, like replacing our toilets, a vanity, and installing shutoffs in various places in our home (etc). The work was completed quickly, and we are very pleased with the results and our improved waterflow. I highly recommend them.

We required assistance with assessing the source of a water leak and remedying it, and Black Cat Plumbing came highly recommended.

They were able to get us scheduled in a timely manner, avoiding the cost of an emergency service; they provided a short and convenient arrival window relative to other professional trade services I have used, and even arrived near its beginning. The co-owner Shaun was actually the plumber who did the job, and he was incredibly kind, generous with his expertise, and he ensured a great deal of confidence in the obvious high quality of the work done. He even shared some excitement about a decommissioned lead "bell trap" still in the bowels of our home, it was very endearing, and fun to learn a bit about the infrastructure history of our house.

The price was eminently reasonable, and we are back to enjoying our bathroom with peace of mind. I couldn't recommend them any higher and will be utilizing their skills for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future!

Black Cat Plumbing has done two jobs for me over the past month - they replaced my water heater, and replaced my kitchen faucet three weeks later. I noticed a leak from my water heater on Sunday, sent them an email via their ‘contact us’ link on the website. They called me the next morning and replaced it on Tuesday. Their service was efficient and reasonably priced. I had an equally good experience with having my faucet replaced. I highly recommend Black Cat Plumbing, a local business!

They replaced my upstairs drain line(s) going into my cast iron stack and did a partial replumb from my 2nd story down to my basement including correcting some shady workmanship done by prior owners. They worked around some challenging circumstances with road construction right in front of my house with limited access to my driveway. The workmanship is top notch! Would highly recommend!
