Plumbing reviews in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

In the past 3 years since moving to this area, we’ve used Bohmann Plumbing exclusively (after being unsatisfied with 2 other plumbers). Brian knows his business well, is prompt in responding and on time, reasonable rates, and is courteous. Seriously recommend him.

We use them all the time. They did everything thing they had to do. They took out 2 sinks added stuff we asked for. It works so much better and don't have to worry about the sink clogged or if the pipes with bust.they did a excellent job and will still use them.

I appreciate they came out same day, but I was over charged and not all leaks were fixed. I had already paid $1182 and they wanted an additional $200 to fix $10 part which took 5 minutes to replace. Another plumber said I shouldn't have had to pay more than $800 for the whole job.

We did water heater replacement through this company on 18th Dec. Owner/ Boss gave an estimate which we agreed with No Hassle. The issues started when they came to replace the Heater. So unprofessional!!!!
Firstly, the workers has attitude for no reason. My wife asked them to wear shoe - cover before working. Lady t3fuse to wear those and replied as if she was doing it Free and as a Big Favor, that this is how we work. No mats or plastic sheets were laid on the floors.
Then it took 4 hrs to replace the Heater. When asked, Main worklady told that they never install Power Heater and it always takes that long, of coursewith attitude. I don't understand why un-experience workers were sent to istall heater and it's not first time we were replacing in my 20 yrs stay. After done, they asked to wait at least 45 minutes before using for hot water. Also,it damaged my door mats with rusty water stains because of No mats laid, while taking my old heater.
Finally, We turned on after an hour. Water was so cold. It was 8pm. Then called the Boss and tried to explain the situation. In stead of showing empathy and concerned, he arrogantly said, witth yelling, that its going to take some time. We menioned that it's already more than hour. Then with same arrogance he suggested to go to basement and check why its not working. Thats when we got mad and told him that we paid for everything and its your job to come and fix. Boss replied not to yell at him because he was in his home. I couldn't understand wat it meant. With same arrogancy and as if company was doing Favor, he replied that we have to wait till 8am next morning. We had no choice but to wait for them and use cooold water till then.
One star it because on 10th Jan inspector visited and OKed with remark about bad workmanship about soldering.
Such HORRIBLE experience. -
Called for help on Friday PM. Set up appointment for early Sat AM.
Plumber arrived at 8AM as promised. Took care of the problem quickly. Charged the agreed to amount....no surprises. She left the work area clean. It was a relaxed no stress experience. I would defiantly call on them again if I have any plumbing problems and recommend them to my friends. -
Work was done fine but the price was exorbitant. When the price was shared with me I was shocked for just a faucet being put in that I supplied. It was the end of they day by the time they came making it hard to come up with an alternate plan. Advise that you ask for an estimate online - the form did not tell me I could do that. Otherwise you get kind of stuck when they are in your house doing the estimate. I was also told I had to pay before I saw the amount of time and the quality of the work. My simple job was about $ 270-300/hour for labor. I like to support small businesses. But I will move on to a new one the next time.

Bohmann Plumbing did a fantastic job fixing my 2 leaking showers and installing my new dishwasher. They came back and fixed a loose shower handle and leak that occurred almost a year later and did it at no extra charge. Brian is a good guy that won't try to gouge you and backs his work. I'll keep using him and recommend him to my friends and family. Ty!!!

Expensive and they use the cheapest Sioux Chief plumbing parts available to man.Offered to stop out to replace a leaking garden spigot for a charge. I've seen water spigots last a lifetime but this one isn't even 2 years old. Can't easily replace it either because they soldered into the threads instead of making a female hub, spent 2 hours looking for online parts to no avail. They wouldn't do this kinda work at their house. I would call another Company who doesn't blame your pipes instead of their cheap parts.

Having recently moved to the area, I needed a plumber to take a look at a few things. IN the mail, I received an advertisement from Bohmann Plumbing. I gave them a call, and they came out and did a free "new neighbor" inspection. This involved going all through the home and inspecting everything from bathroom faucets, to toilets, the kitchen sink/drain, and laundry facilities. They performed a very thorough inspection! All the personnel I have had the pleasure of dealing with have been extremely respectful, informative, and personable. Prices are reasonable, and it's such a blessing to have encountered this company right when I needed them! I hired them to install a brand-new laundry sink, as they found the previous one to have rusty pipes and a leak. They explained the options I had, and if I had any questions, (nothing was too big or too small- they answered them all!), which is another reason why I went with them. Any company that goes above and beyond to make a new customer feel comfortable, not rushed, and keeps information coming throughout the repair process will always win in my book. Thanks to Stephanie and the team for exemplary work!

Do not hire this company! First, they require pre-payment in full, $637 to unclog a pipe (shame on us for not sending them on their way at this point)! The technician "worked" for an hour and a half and then left and said "everything was good and fine". Husband didn't check the work before she left (shame on us again) and there was still standing water in the sink. She said to pour some nair down the drain to clear out anything that could be left. Tracked her down to tell her she didn't finish the job, her response was that she "tried her best and there was no guarantee". She also left our bathroom filthy, didn't even put the p-trap back on correctly, and it looks like she even used a broken hanger to try to clear something???? I would give zero stars but Google makes me give at least one.

Very professional and quick to respond! Stephanie did a fantastic job addressing the issue. In addition, she provided great tips for preventative maintenance going forward.

I have used Bohmann on several projects for my home and rental unit. Honest, professional, friendly and take pride in there service and workmanship at a fair reasonable price. Same day or next day service is very much appreciated.

Had Brian come out to quote a water heater install. He quoted $3,500 for a standard gas water heater. This quote was $1,000 dollars more than the nearest competitors quote. Thats over 130% more!!!
Same equipment, same labor, 130% higher than competitors. Not sure what kind of work the company does, but for something as simple as a water heater install I had to go with someone else...probably could've gone with anyone else and come out ahead.
Nice guy, I'm sure he does a fine job, but i would get other quotes before calling Bohmann Plubming...oh yeah, he charges for quotes. Im guessing he does that because anyone who gets more than just his quote goes with the other person. Shop around. -
Brian Bohmann from "B.Bhomann Plumbing" ripped me off. He claims to have 25 years of experience, but the water lines immediately started leaking after he installed them. He also took the working gas line to my stove. I told him that I wanted him to fix everything properly. Instead of doing that he said that he'd be back in 2 days. Who does that? In two days he NEVER showed up. He'll tell you otherwise; but just read his Angi & Google reviews (Below Links) & you'll see the truth about him. I had to hire a real professional who couldn't believe that a licensed plumbing did such a horrendous job. He fixed the water lines & had to reinstall all new gas lines to my gas stove. Gas lines that Brian Bohmann should have never taken. I told Brian that I can't pay him for something that he didn't do properly. He then put a lien against my property because he knew I was selling the place. Don't hire this guy. If you do. Don't pay him in advance. Don't pay him for an estimate either. There are plenty of independent plumbers who will give you a free estimate. READ his reviews on Angi - Almost all of them are one star. Don't waste your time or money with Brian. All the work he did ended up in the trash.

They came into my business 3 times Not wearing the required masks (we also have posted on both doors). One guy made fun of me when I asked him to wear mask. At least they told us they were shutting off water however they didn't tell our dentist neighbors whom were in the middle of a dental procedure. They did not have a business card nor commercial plumbing vehicle which made me feel very uncomfortable. Why do they call themselves Lake Country when their business is in Milwaukee, Not lake country? To charge more $?

Excellent service. The staff took a lot of time to come up with a novel solution to a problem I encountered due to previously installed hardware that was out of date. They explained the solution and installation steps in a clear way that let me complete the install myself.

Came in Sat afternoon with a sick Kohler shower faucet. When I asked them how long to rebuild ... they said about 20 mins. Service was awesome and price was great.

Always willing to help. I am a woman DIYer and these guys explain and help me so that I can accomplish plumbing projects by myself. They can get the parts I need for some pretty obscure 1974 fixtures and have taken the time to explain the fine points that you can't find in books. Thanks guys!

I came in with a broken valve, I set it on the counter, and the employee walked directly back to the spot on the shelf where new ones were. He didn't look it up in a book or a computer, he knew what it was and where it was.
Just awesome. With 7 radiators and an aging boiler I know i'll be making the trip out here for my plumbing parts. -
Tried selling me $75 part and REFUSED to sell me a couple rubber washers to try to fix a leak. Went to the hardware store and bought washers for $4 and now no leak.

I took kohler fixures to them 8 years ago, they all looked at it and said they are discontinued, I called a plumber looked at them told what they are and they are readily available even 8 years later I orderd them on amazon.
