I have had very positive experiences with Donovan & Jorgensen over the years, but especially want to post about my recent experiences. Phil Schmidtke was outstanding in his efforts to help me identify options to repair or replace my duplex boilers/hotwater heaters. In the end, I replaced one with a new high-efficiency combination, and I am very happy. Brandon and his team did the work over two days with minimal disruption and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Donovan & Jorgensen.

Service Tech AJ was great!! Gave a thorough explanation of inspection results for both units serviced. Was very accommodating with a change to our original service order. Very polite and considerate. Thank You!!!

Our very old furnace finally died today, and Donovan & Jorgensen came through with a same-day install (another local company couldn’t fit us in until Tuesday—not ideal with a baby in the house). Phil was out in less than an hour to diagnose; Will and John handled the install like pros. Price was several hundred lower than the first quote we got from the other company. Definitely recommend.

D & J has always been very helpful and efficient with their scheduling. AJ came this time to check my AC. He was very thorough and professional. Great service overall.

From the first evaluation of my old boiler through the installation of the new boiler for steam heat and the cleanup, everyone was very knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. The price was highly competitive. Most impirtant, the inspector came to evaluate the work, meeting the codes, and said it was all perfect. I strongly recommend this company!

When my furnace died, my first call was to Donovan & Jorgenson. Under a stressful no heat situation, Phil in Sales made it easy. He arrived within the hour, analyzed the situation, and recommended a unit within my budget. The next day a crew of installers arrived. We called D&J to replace our leaking boiler, near boiler components, and some convectors for our 120-year-old 7,000 sf home (a big and pricey job for us). The home represents the entire history of hot water radiant heat - from coal burner, to oil burner, to natural gas, from gravity to circulatory pumps, and was a maze of mixed technologies and components in various states of efficiency and working order. D&J spent a great deal of time and brought in a number of extra people to carefully re-engineer the entire system to ensure that each area of the house with its different vintages of equipment and different issues all worked well together. They listened to all our concerns and addressed each one in turn to make sure the system worked well in all areas of the home. Their installation included many of the extra's that others skimp on (like additional valves, and components that are not vital, but make maintenance and future repairs less likely and much easier). There was excellent communication concerning the schedule and the completion. We are very pleased with the new system and the vast improvement in the way the system heats the home. I have had a couple other HVAC contractors work on this system in the past and did not have as near as nice the experience or results. Also competitive pricing in relation to other bids. Max, Joe, and the rest of the crew did a great job working through issues as they popped up and ensuring our satisfaction.

Outstanding service all around. Last week, our furnace stopped working. Our AC unit was ancient and we knew replacement was in the near future. Paul from Donovan and Jorgenson responded to my inquiry the next day, and was able to meet immediately. He explained all available options, including repair and replacement of the furnace and the whole system. No pushing, no sales gimmicks, and forthright responses to all questions. We decided on a furnace/AC replacement, and they were able to schedule it the following Tuesday. Brandon and Dave from D&J performed the install. They were on-time, polite, and professional. They showed a real commitment to their craft when they even sealed up some left-over HVAC components from the house's original heating system left by last HVAC company. Install was done before my son's nap and system is working perfectly. Could not recommend them more highly.

Paul came and explained the different products and options that would work for our house and was very fast responding to questions. I felt I got a great price on a complete system including a new humidifier and UV air cleaner - huge in the age of covid!
Steve and Andrew had the old system out and the new units installed in less then a full work day. They took the time to show us how to service the furnace, and answered all our questions about when to run the humidifier and how to shut down the AC for the winter. They even moved our thermostat to a more central location so it's readings wouldn't be thrown off by 'solar loading,' making the whole house more comfortable.
I highly recommend Donovan & Jorgenson, and know that if I need them, they will be there.

We've used Donovan & Jorgenson for furnace/AC maintenance since we bought our home and recently needed to install a new furnace and air conditioning unit due to age. Everyone we dealt with as part of the project did a great job! They provided several options and quotes for the replacement systems and were very helpful in answering questions and helping us select the best option for our home. We also had them install an additional return duct from our second floor, and they were great about working through the best routing with us to make sure that we weren't losing too much space in the living area by running the ductwork through a bedroom closet. They kept us up to date on what they were working on and kept all working areas clean and organized. I highly recommend using them for a install/replacement and maintenance.

I had a great experience from start to finish with my furnace and a/c replacement. I had compared against 6 other installation companies and HVAC manufacturers, and found Donovan & Jorgenson to be highly competitive, and they were one of the few that was not looking to dissuade me from learning more about the possibility of purchasing a heat pump for my home, even if we didn't end up installing it. Rick was extremely knowledgable, helpful, and friendly through the entire process.

We received a wonderful experience, Jason our Sales representative did a great job going over our options to pick out the best furnace and AC for our house. Jason listened to out needs, moving up our appointment due to our old furnace breaking down, he provided heaters through the Thanksgiving holiday and kept us comfortable until the new furnace was installed.

The installers did a quick and wonderful job removing the old furnace and AC and installing new, and cleaning up after install. They went over how to work the new Thermostat and basic care of the New furnace and AC. The New Furnace is very quiet compared to the old one we had. Over all we were Very Satisfied and Highly recommend this company.

Responded quickly, wait time was only 3 weeks for installation and in this day and age that is pretty good. They were prompt, effecient, cleaned up, explained everything they did and how to use our new AC, thermostat and the changes they made to the existing duct work. We will receive 1 year free maintenance checks for our AC and even our older furnace. The AC unit we wanted was on back order, but rather than us wait, they gave us an upgraded model at the same price. How do you like that for CUSTOMER SERVICE!?!

I worked with Paul who was great in taking the time to answer any questions I had throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and took the extra time to make sure everything was taken care of and even offered to help remove a 'weed tree' for me on where the a/c unit would go.

The installation team was timely and professional as well and helpful with any questions I had the day of. I was surprised at how fast I was able to get the installation in and how quick they were. They also did a great job cleaning up.

Had an electric furnace blowing cold, so I called D & J. They sent a tech right out, he could not successfully diagnose the issue so they had to come back. They did want to come the next day, but I was unavailable at the time so we settled on the following day. They sent out the Vet to diagnose the issue along with one of the younger guys. They showed up first thing in day and were able to successfully diagnose and fix the problem in quick fashion. All in less than $500. Great customer service and fair rates… what more can you ask for.

Would recommend & will use in the future

We had a fantastic experience with Donovan & Jorgenson. Our sales rep Paul was quick, thorough, and professional. He was able to quickly determine what we need and adapt it to our existing heating/cooling system. No extra fuss. The installers Steve and Andrew were great. There was no mess afterwards to cleanup and there was minimal rearranging that I needed to do in the basement for them to get around. They even pointed out an oddity in our duct work and fixed it so we have better airflow to our upstairs. Amazing! We had an AC unit installed mid-fall so we haven't had that much use out of it, but so far, it's been great. They have several maintenance/checkups built into the purchase, so I feel relieved that we won't have to worry about that for a long time.

Our furnace stopped working this week and with a newborn in the house we were looking for prompt service. John, the service tech was out within a few hours and quickly diagnosed the problem. John layed out our options from repair to replace. John was very knowledgeable and professional. We decided replacing the aging furnace was our best option. Josh, the sales rep provided us with multiple options and was very thorough in the process of selecting the best furnace for our needs and considered our budget. A day later Brad and his crew showed up for installation. They worked efficiently, were clean, and even provided us with a space heater for the baby's room for the day. Brad and his crew are the kind of guys you want installing a new furnace. Very pleased all around, and would highly recommend!

Donovan Jorgenson is an amazing company with people who are not only well trained to do their jobs, but are very personable and communicate the details that you need to know as the customer. I own several properties and have worked with them at all the various properties on everything from simple preventive maintenance to boiler replacement, furnace replacement, to AC replacement, and my experiences have always been exceptional. Whether Steve Jury in sales, Ron the Svc Manager, or Kayla or Dan or Tom or today, I worked with Andy in service, they are excellent at their craft, know when to seek support from colleagues, and all are great at communicating their findings in detail and patiently answering questions. Can’t forget Barb in the Brookfield office - she’s always pleasant and very helpful as are Sandy and Dana in Service scheduling. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Excellent customer service, recommendations, installation, and follow-up. Josh came to our home to provide our free estimate and gave us several options-- explaining cost, efficiency, and long-term benefits of each solution. On installation day the crew ran into some challenges with our 100 year old home and navigated them well. They even had to remove a door, and hauled it away for us for no extra charge. Josh came back for a follow-up and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable in our home. Highly recommend Josh and the Donovan & Jorgenson team.
