I had a terrible problem when my sewer was clogged and started backing up. A rooter company came and said because of the age of my house and the trap position, they would have to hydro-jet the pipe at a huge cost. I called Mike Ingrilli after hours, and he immediately called me back. He assured me that hydrojetting was a last resort (and if it was needed, the cost could at least $400. less than my original quote). Mike was quite sure his snaking equipment could clear the clogs.
They were able to arrive the following morning and installed a port and cleared the clogs as promised. Mike and his staff are always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

Mike has come out to the house multiple times to help my mom fix the same reoccurring issue. After many trips, countless hours he was able to fix the flooding basement (mainly caused from the city sewers having lots of work on on them). He also went above and beyond to fix all the sinks pressures, water heater and dig up the yard to replace the pipe line. Every interaction we have had with Mike has been a pleasure even when getting bad news about having to dig up the yard. 100% will always call Mike! God bless!

Last year a friend recommended Mike Ingrilli for an annoying problem we were having with an older upstairs toilet. His plumber did a great job for a good price and we were very pleased. Recently we had them over for an ongoing leak in the basement. It was a problem that was spotted and easily corrected within minutes; and although I was expecting at least a hefty service call bill, the invoice came in stating no cost for the help and the statement "We appreciate your service." You can't beat that.

Used them 2 times in the past because the work was good, but this time it was booked under my wife’s name. Work was performed, but invoiced for an extra hour at 173.00/hr for labor plus a “mobilization” fee. Plumber was in/out of house a little over 1hr. When asked about a reasonable prorated adjustment, they stated that “dispatch” time is included and they bill by the half hour intervals, yet they clearly charged a full hour over. Not usually a clock watcher, but the front office response was fairly rude and I was kinda put off. Back office needs work. Puts a bad name to the business willing to have his name on it, in my opinion.

Responding to Owners Comment: Feeling the need to respond to this public comment and not return my request for a phone conversation or email before I made this comment doesn't change the fact that the ring camera shows exactly when the plumber arrived and left and it still was not anywhere in the 2 hour timeframe. I don't think responding to a "customer survey" would have changed anything since no invoice was presented at that time and why would that conversation have gone differently? You rounded up the hours, and you felt you did 2 hours worth of work. Fine. This wasn't the first overcharging review that was made, and from your defense, it probably isn't the last.

I would recommend Mike Ingrilli Plumbing over and over again. From the day I met with Mike to go through all our needs, to the days Rob worked on the various projects, I never felt more at ease. Everyone on the team was prompt and courteous. The estimate came quickly and the project started the following week. We had all our galvanized pipes replaced, the outside faucet, corrected venting to our water heater, and many updates to our 50’s bathroom, that had it working and feeling like new. The price was very reasonable for all the work that Rob did, and we could not be happier.

Don’t ever use this company! First, they overcharge! And, they will not come back and fix something they installed that should be warranted. We used him several times and every time they had to go back and fix what they installed. They wanted to charge us for the work that they Installed incorrectly. We are still dealing with this issue a year later. Obviously, we stopped using Ingrilli and we are with a more professional, reliable, plumbing company. Save yourself the headache and stress because there are plenty of other, qualified plumbing companies out there to use and Mike Ingrilli is not one of them! He is very rude and unprofessional!

Water was running from the upstairs bathroom down the wall in my kitchen and into my basement. In a panic I called Mike. He calmed me down, told me what to do and sent Joe over in the morning. Joe was very polite and thorough. He worked his butt off to find the issue. I am grateful for the quick response and all the work that was done!

I've had them over to fix issues that were causing a leak from my kitchen sink. They had the parts on hand, got it fixed quickly, and correctly the first time. Would definitely recommend.

I never write reviews, but my recent experience with this company prompted this. I’ve been a loyal customer of this plumbing company for about seven years. We own an older home in Elm Grove and have relied on their services many times over the years. However, I was very disappointed with my most recent experience. The cost to clean out my sewer line was nearly double what I’ve been charged in the past. When I called the office to ask about the price increase, the person I spoke with was extremely rude and even told me that I would be blacklisted. After years of being a repeat customer, this was disappointing. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this company.

I would stay away from this company. They are dishonest and the customer service is appalling. They bait and switched me on a hot water heater and then charged me $250 to come back and stand in my basement for 15 minutes to "look" at an issue I was having with it. Unsurprisingly, standing there looking at the tank for 15 minutes didn't fix anything. After the visit I called the office to see about next steps and was berated by the owner's daughter. She insulted where I live and said "they do not need anyone in Milwaukee's business". Shocked by her behavior I let her know I'd be leaving a review to which she plainly said she'd discredit it in the response section. Beware!

Zach was a pleasure to interact with, he was very calm and listened to our concerns. He offered solutions, as we had water back up in our basement a few days before our appointment date, and started work immediately. Very clean, he even moved some small furniture that I didnt realize was in his work area. Also cleaned up the area he was working around before leaving. He was very open with costs and making sure we understand the procedures he would be performing, as well as mentioned that video footage would be provided after our service to show that our lines were cleared. I will be calling Bontempo plumbing for all our future plumbing needs.

Had them come out do my mom's kitchen sink several months back. Was poorly repaired by "cleaning the faucet aeroter" so within a couple days it went right back to a slow trickle instead of a flow of water. We'll fast forward few months forward, tiered of watching my mom's sink suffer and her back pay the consequences. I bought a faucet head 13 bucks on amazon. Swamped the 2 out. And toda full blown water. Why did he not just tell hmus the shit was to far gone and had to be replaced. Instead my mom just hasn't wanted me to fix it because I'm not a plumber and trusted these guys knew what they were doing. While my mom blamed the city pipes for her water flow. I won't use this service again for her.

Update to comment back- yes I use a different name online than my actual name and in all honesty rather than waste my time identifying who I am I would rather just know for future plumbing I wouldn't go here. Don't want full blown plumber prices for stuff to just be rigged to be "better" but not actually resolved. Unfortunate, he had a positive attitude seemed so kind but the work just wasn't there.

I've used Bontempo for multiple projects now all over my house!! I purchased a 99 year old house that NEEDED plumbing intervention. They've lined my sewer pipe (saved the pipe from collapsing), switched out all my water stops, replaced 3 faucets, a tub spout and shower head. Chris was super responsive, professional, and stands by the quality of his work! Most of my extended family have used Bontempo and rightly so! They are worth every penny in quality work!

I was referred to Bontempo by a client of mine, and they were absolutely fabulous to work with! I own a dog washing and grooming business, and was in need of some help with a faucet on one of the tubs we use for bathing dogs. Chris came as scheduled (a minor miracle in itself these days!), and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. It was a very busy day at my store, and he understood that we couldn't just turn the water off when we were trying to get pups washed. He worked with us to wait for the right window of opportunity, then quickly got it fixed! I strongly recommend them and consider them "our" plumber now! Thank you, Bontempo!

I've been using Bontempo Plumbing as long as I can remember and will continue to do so. They've changed my cast iron pipes to copper, replaced my water heater, replaced my sump pumps, installed battery backup sump pump, fixed clogged drains, repaired leaky toilet and installed new faucets; all work has been 100% satisfactory and for a fair price. They are responsive when assistance is needed and both Chris and Zach are friendly and keep you in the loop of what is wrong and what is needed to fix it. Do not hesitate to give them a call when you need plumbing help. Many of my friends and family have utilized them and everyone has been pleased.
