I cannot say enough good things about Ivan and his company! We wanted to rip out the carpet in our main floor and install a uniform hardwood throughout. We started out getting quotes from a couple larger companies recommended on nextdoor. Both took a week of us bugging them to send an estimate, and both acted dismissive toward us like they thought we weren't serious customers. I found AB's glowing reviews online. We called Ivan and he came over that same day and gave us an estimate on the spot, and it was substantially lower than the other two companies for the exact same job. Between that and the glowing reviews, it was a no brainer. Ivan was responsive and helpful with all our questions and he and his team were prompt, professional and FAST. I couldn't believe how fast they got it done and the finished product is incredible. I was also happy to see that they wore masks when around us without being asked (as did we), which we appreciate as healthcare professionals. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience. We'll be using AB Custom Flooring for any future wood flooring projects and recommending them to friends and neighbors!

My brother and I hired Ivan to repair some flooring in our new business space and we couldn't be happier with the quality of work. Everything from communication to the end result was perfect. We had an area of flooring that had to be filled in after some demo work and then blended with the adjacent wood. Looking at it now, I can't even tell where the patch is, it looks so good! Highly recommend.

I had really high hopes for having Ivan and his team come refinish our floors after reading prior reviews. The pricing was extremely competitive. Overall, the quality is decent, but we are underwhelmed with the final product.

We were disappointed in the wood filler being a different color and stain not matching. Perhaps the bigger problem for me was that we had no opportunity to review potential stain or finish colors. The finish was just put directly on the floor before we ever reviewed any of the work.

There were some old scratches in the floor that were uncovered in sanding (not their fault), but it was not communicated to us that these scratches were discovered. In the initial email quote, Ivan mentioned our floors might be too thin to refinish. Upon walking through the morning work began, there was no discussion around floors being too thin, so we assumed we were good to go.

Most disappointing was the lack of communication around the imperfections and stain color match. We had to email to try to get answers and get it addressed, and the response we received via email from Ivan felt pretty dismissive.

Highly recommend! Our main floor was half original 15 year old red oak flooring and half carpet. Ivan replaced the carpet with hardwood floors and refinished the existing floors seamlessly and they came out beautiful. After reading his great reviews and receiving a very competitive bid, the deciding factor was that the owner of AB was going to be doing the work with his team and not just stopping by at the start and end of the project. A+ service and results!

Ivan did amazing work on our floors. He was quick and efficient and the final outcome was more than we could have ever expected. He made our 100 year old floors look new again.

We've hired Ivan at two of our homes now and cannot recommend him more. Our wood floors were in rough shape and within a matter of a couple days, Ivan had them looking brand new - not to mention at an incredibly fair price. These guys did an outstanding job on a 70 year old home with original floors that had been covered with carpet. All nicks filled and beautiful natural color.

Ivan and team recently refinished my hardwood floors, and the transformation exceeded our expectations. The process brought new life to our flooring that had become dull and scratched over the years. What impressed me most was how dramatically refinishing improved both the look and feel of the entire space.

While refinishing can be dusty and time-consuming, the work was surprisingly tidy. Dust-containment equipment minimized mess, and odors from the stain and polyurethane were manageable. The whole project, from prep to final coat, took a few days but was well worth the wait!

We had our oak floors refinished with Ivan recently. His bid was the most competitive of the bids we got and he was able to work within our time parameters. I am blown away at how amazing our floors look! We found some old wood flooring hiding under our carpets and we weren’t sure if it was salvageable. He did not try to up-sale and was not pushy. We scheduled the service. Ivan and his assistant showed up on time and got straight to work each time. I was able to come by and check on the progress. They were very professional and respectful. He took time to show me what's been done and gave me additional information about what to expect. Ones the work was completed the floors looked amazing!
