If I could give more the 5 stars I would!! I will recommend this company to anyone! We had an emergency need for someone to come out and take a look as our water was backing up and not draining in the showers and toilets properly. I called and spoke to the owner which he was super nice, and very informative. He told me he could have a person come out within an hour and a half and within 45 mins Chris, our technician, called and said he was on the way. Chris was on time and once he arrived, he was very friendly and told us what to expect. He was very professional and was very kind to my son. I would recommend Chis and his company to anyone, and the next time we need any plumbing repairs or anything they offer services for we will definitely be giving them a call. As their name says, they definitely give you the "EXTRA CARE" in services! Thank you Chris for helping us, we very much appreciate you!

Andre and Chris were great! They searched for the best way to avoid cutting through slab for my issue and we ended up with a solution which avoided costly repairs. Extra Care has performed service for our needs in emergencies in a timely, professional, and price friendly manner. I highly recommend them when you have need for experienced, knowledgeable, and reliable plumbing services.

I was visiting from out of town and my brother had a terrible leak in his kitchen. We called ten plumbers and they all said they could not come for at least a week. I told them my brother was in a wheel chair and Andre was the only business owner that responded immediately and was there within twenty minutes. I will be forever grateful for his kindness and excellent service. He was kind, professional and did a great job on the repairs. He came right over even though it was the holiday season and everyone was backed up with repairs.

After searching all morning for someone to come out and unclog toilets at our business, I called Extra Care Plumbing and Andre was at our shop within an hour. He worked so hard for hours clearing the sewer line and got the job done and at a great price as well. He had such a sweet spirit about him...he will now be our plumber. Highly recommend you give him a call.

They did a fine job on some things at my house, but I didn’t like how the master plumber sat in the van and sent in his apprentice to do the analysis on our home warranty jobs. There were a couple times that the apprentice said something that didn’t make sense to me and I ended up being right. Because of these things, we had some jobs take longer to get done than they should have. In the end, the plumbing work they did was fine, but I wouldn’t choose this company over another plumbing company.

A pipe burst in our kitchen ceiling on Christmas Eve. Of course most plumbers were closed and the ones that said 24hours didn't pick up the phone. We saw that Extra Care had such great reviews that I called them and they picked up and got us scheduled. With the crazy cold weather, there were a few people already scheduled ahead of us who were in worse shape, but I appreciated the calls to let us know what was going on. When Andre got here, he got right on fixing our pipe and was able to recommend people to help repair the damage to our home.
I will tell anyone who is looking for a plumber to use Extra Care Plumbing. Thank you all again!

Andre has been the most kind, honest, and up front person I have ever worked with. He and his crew were fast and absolutely amazing at the job. He went above and beyond for us. I will only use his service from now on if we ever encounter an issue with our plumbing. He went out of his way to help solve our issue. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. They will get it done the right way, the first time, no matter how long it takes. He is an honest man and someone worth working with.

Andre is awesome! He’s very knowledgeable in his craft, and won’t rip you off. My home warranty wouldn’t cover a new water heater, but Extra Care was able to get me up and running with a new one without breaking the bank. Blew all other quotes out of the water. Highly recommended.

I moved to the great state of Alabama almost 2 years ago after following my babygirl after she graduated from AU. I live in Tuscaloosa and have OLD REPUBLIC HOME PROTECTION as our home warrenty. I needed a plummer so I called Old Republic to set this up.. I got a call from Extra Care Plumming (out of Birmingham) very nice woman called me, had couple questions and we set up appointment, all this was within just a couple days :) on day of appointment I received a text and call from Andre(extra care) advising he was on his way. As soon as I met Andre I felt very comfortable and at ease, this is very important for me, being a woman alone and not knowing anything about plummimg it’s kind of like taking your car to mechanic and well just not knowing if you can really “trust” what they tell you. It can be scary sometimes.. while chatting with Andre he told me he had like 30 couple years of plummimg but you could just tell he knew what he was doing! He didn’t mind me following him around asking all my questions and actually talking TO me, not down to me :) which means a lot! He explained everything in terms I could understand! :) it turns out to be a very easy fix, he is ordering some parts and will comeback and finish job! My reason for this review is … there are a lot of shady people out there and if this review puts just one other person’s mind at ease … GOOD, GREAT!! Call Extra Care Plummimg and feel more comfortable about your decision!! You can tell Andre cares about his company and reputation, I don’t think he will let you down!! I hope this helps someone who is looking for a dependable plummer :) peace & love

Unfortunately (for me) I was in need of a plumber three times in one week for three separate issues. Extra Care Plumbing was able to come out fast and took care of all of my issues at a super reasonable price. Andre was so knowledgeable and told me some extra things to look out for. Highly recommend and these will be my go to plumbers from here on out.

It's always terrifying to have something go wrong in the middle of the night that you can't fix yourself. I woke up to a running shower at 1am, and nothing was working to make it quit.
Thankfully, Andre answered the cry for help and showed up to the rescue!
Got the water shut off and a plan in action, and he was right back at it this morning.
Now I have a spiffy new shower handle, nothing is leaking, he cleaned everything up after himself and was such an absolute professional. Prices were very reasonable for the work performed as well.
I will definitely be calling again for my plumbing needs!

They were quick and responsive. Andre knew what was wrong quickly and had us fixed just as quick with good products. I appreciate that they were able to get out here the same day I called. The price was good . And I will be calling them again when I need a plumber

We called our plumber (SpencerDennis) after receiving $90 water bill. Spencer came out the day of the call and we searched for the possible leak under concrete driveway. Spencer referred to a company from B’ham that specializes in locating water leaks under concrete. The next day I searched our property high and low for water standing and found it near our carport in the supply line from the meter. Finding the spot was not Spencer’s fault it was mine because I told him I thought it was under the concrete due to water standing. Spencer promptly returned that day and made the repairs as needed. His professionalism and having the tools and parts needed on his truck is why we use his service. I think the term used in the service industry is “you get what you pay for” if you need a plumber call Marble City Plumbing. Oh by the way the water standing in the driveway was where our oldest grandson washes his truck twice a week 😂

The best experience with a plumber I’ve ever had. Respectful, neat, no tracking in lawn clutter. Able to evaluate what could have been an expensive problem and assure us that we didn’t have a leak. Even looked at my kitchen faucet that was not spraying a full stream of water. Suggested trying a new sprayer head. Honest!

We are having issues with our main drain line. Kitchen sink not draining and toilets frequently clogged. Called On Time plumbing who suggested using a camera to see what was going on. Agreed and said that we just wanted it taken care of. Came out and accessed the main drain through one of the toilets. Said they cleared a clog and we should be good. A week later the sink started draining slowly again. Two weeks later the sink was almost unusable and toilets frequently clogged. Asked if they would come back out and they said yes, but it would be a couple of days. On the day they were coming out they texted me and said this wouldn't be included in the work that they had done before and we would be charged again. Obviously the problem wasn't taken care of initially so I was assuming this would be handled at at least a discounted rate but no. He suggested they try accessing the line through the kitchen sink which would be less expensive. He seemed genuine and acted like he wanted to make it right so we agreed. Came out and snaked the sink, replaced a vent and said there was build-up on the pipe. Charged us again for this but over $1000 later we are right back to where we started. Sink doesn't drain and toilet is clogged-hours after he left.

Another issue they "addressed" while they were here was our washer keeps backing up into a garage sink (this is not connected to our main line). His suggestion was to cap off the sink and the washer would empty out into the field line. Agreed and they capped it. Did a load of laundry and it overflowed in our laundry room and pantry over our hardwood floors. He did come back and uncap the sink after this and "generously" didn't charge us for that visit. This capping was done on his suggestion that it would work just fine. He did not test before they left and so we ended up with fans drying out our floors for several days after.

I am more than happy to pay a fair price for work that's done well. It's incredibly frustrating to pay over $1000 and be back at square one for both situations we asked them to fix.

Absolutely amazing—I truly can’t say enough good things about Chris and TJ. From the very first visit to provide an estimate, Chris took the time to really listen. He was genuinely engaged in the conversation, not just about the work itself, but about the reasons behind it and even my son’s health. What stood out most was how kind and easy he was to talk to. I never felt rushed, and somehow he understood exactly what I needed before I even had to explain it.
TJ, his right-hand man, was just as impressive—a true gentleman. He was incredibly kind and even took a moment to pray for my son, which meant more than I can put into words. That level of compassion is rare these days.
They showed up right on time to complete the shower reset and install our disposal, and when they finished, my bathroom and floors were cleaner than when they started. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my plumbing needs—Chris and TJ are simply the best.
