Called in the am, didn’t get an answer, but received a call back in about 20 minutes. Very nice, courteous and talking with the owner, not a CSR. Had an opening and took care of my plumbing work in less than an hour. Great, did I say great price and service. I like doing business with a locally owned small business. Nothing like dealing with the person who has a stake in its success. I hesitated putting up a review because I have finally found a plumber I can call for future work and trust. Master plumber doing master work. Highly recommend!

I found this company via a Google search. Spencer quickly came out and assessed a plumbing concern. I live in a condo, and after a 15-20 minute evaluation he determined my issue was building related rather than unit related. He clearly and simply explained to me what was happening and took the time to tell my HOA guy what he had found. I give this company 5 stars because they were honest with me about what they could do, helped me in my next steps, and treated the visit as a courtesy call! Not many companies do that anymore! Spencer and Spencer were excellent to work with. They were very responsive. Immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it timely and affordably. They also fully explained what all was wrong and what they were doing to ensure it was fixed. I've already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

Excellent service and price. We had pressure reducing valve and water heater die at same time. One plumber came and quoted me a price to pay for his trip to Disney. Spencer was less than 1/2 the price and got right on it and was done. Great work and fixed some things I broke without extra charge. Job site was left clean and neat and with hot water running.

As others have said in their reviews, Spencer is a true professional. In my personal experience with him, he has a ton of both personality and integrity. He will do whatever it takes to do the job not just 'right', but to his own very high standards. His son (Spencer Jr) is equally hard-working and personable. Cahaba Valley Plumbing is my #1 go-to for any plumbing work I have.

I wish there was a 10 rating! Folks, if you want an honest reliable plumber, these are your guys! Spencer and his son, Spencer were on time --on VERY short notice when another plumber was a no--show, no-call. These folks are honest, reasonable and a family-owned business that really care about their clients! They came out on Friday and charged me 75% less than his original quote because it turned to be an easy job. While they were here, I had a package delivered, which was my long awaited vanity table with a lighted mirror. I knew right away that I was out of my league re: assembly. Spencer Sr. offered to help me if I needed help getting the vanity assembled. I assembled what I could, but needed reinforcements right away. I texted the Spencers and he put me on his calendar for Wednesday. He called Monday afternoon and said they finished up their jobs early and would come today to finish the assembly of my furniture. They were here almost 2+ hours and charged me NOTHING~ No charge for their time, and said it was an honor to help me! Please reach out to this wonderful father-son team for your plumbing needs!

Spencer is easily the most reliable person I've encountered since moving down south. He comes on time, does his work efficiently and always does his best to offer the most reasonable rates. I don't see myself going to anyone else for plumbing needs unless he is not available.

Absolutely outstanding service. Spencer is just wonderful. They called me back right away, came out the same day, and fixed my leaking toilet very quickly. They were very kind and knowledgable. Spencer did a great job replacing a leaking hot water tank last March! He was very responsive, timely, and fair in his pricing and showed me exactly how to get a rebate as well. These guys are AWESOME. I called to ask a question and got to talking with Spencer (I think) and he is super knowledgeable and very friendly. Spencer installed a Saniflo system for me and did an outstanding job. It was a replacement unit and got a little messy and he was awesome to say the least. I highly recommend Spence for your plumbing needs. He's your guy!

My contractor grade hot water tank failed after only a few years, and I decided to upgrade to a tankless water heater. I received several estimates, but Spencer took the extra time to explain to my wife the installation process and how it would work. Several plumbers suggested installing it outside in order to make the exhaust run simpler. Spencer installed it indoors where I never have to worry about frozen pipes. He was undaunted by routing the exhaust outside, a clear indicator of his experience. The price was fair, the work professional, and I am so glad I got a tankless water heater from Cahaba Valley Plumbing! He even told me how to apply for a rebate from my service provider.
