Higdon is a great and trustworthy company! Also some great employees like Chandler Dill and Chase Reedy, who are hardworking, respectful and very knowledgeable individuals. That is why I trust Higdon for all of my hvac issues!

Chase was my service technician and he was absolutely fantastic! He was courteous, professional and was even kind enough to answer my many questions. The whole Higdon experience was top notch. Highly recommend!

I was called for a follow up after the great service for my hvac unit and I discovered that they do plumbing. They came out within a few days and replaced my water heater after giving me all the options. They stayed until the job was finished, showed me their work, explained everything, and cleaned up after themselves!!! I trust them 100% and would recommend them to anyone!

Xavier did an excellent job and helping us solve our leaking faucet problem. Thanks to him! We think he’s a great employee.

Called Tues morning, 11/25/25. We setup an appointment for Wednesday morning. Received a text reading: Tech would arrived between 8a-10a on Wed morning 11/26/25.

At 10:20am we called to inquire about the appointment. We were told the tech was completing an earlier appointment and would arrive before 12noon.

12:30 we called about the appointment again we were told the tech was finishing up a previous job and would arrive soon. We were told they would get to us today.

At 1:10pm Hugdon called to reschedule our appointment for the following Monday as Thanksgiving was the following day (Thursday). I said no & canceled the appointment.

Higdon called me at 1:16p to say 2 techs had gone to the hospital in the past 24hrs. He said they would put us back on the schedule for Tuesday as promised but wanted us to know before he sent a tech to the houses the min cost would be $375.00, to clear a drain. He said the drive over to Rogersville from Decatur was 1.5 hrs. I told him I could find some on else more reasonable. He said yeah: "A one man operation unlicensed, and inferior equip."

Fuller Heating/Air/Plumbing and Electrical, came to the house within 1 hour cleared the drain and it cost me less than $160.00.

Higdon lied and then quoted an unreasonable price for a simple job.
I will never recommend that anyone call these people.

I recently had a 5-ton HVAC system and ductwork repairs completed by Adam, Brandon, Phillip, and Dalton, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience.

Broken water line in middle of ice storm. Gunnar showed up on a Sunday when he said he would. Told me what we needed and in 30 minutes we had water again. Great attitude, communication on point. Hard to find folks these days who are good at what they do, and enjoy helping folks in their trades. Highly recommend..

Customer service was great cindy was verry helpfull and the tec Anthony was perfeshional. I don't think this company was for me. The estimate that I payed for, lead to a far greater price than others. I think this company is for the well to do, not people like me. They have great service but can not recommend their repairs because of cost. Had the same job completed by another company at 1/3 of Higdon Heating and Colling.

The plumber was great. He flushed out and cleaned my tankless water heater. Efficient and friendly. The only problem was someone called and rescheduled the appt, but did not explain it was to reschedule only the maintence on my heat pump, so I thought the water heater visit was also rescheduled. When the plumber came at the originally scheduled day and time, I was glad I happened to be home. The person who called should have explained that. The heat pump was serviced on a separate day, today, and again, the technician was very friendly, prompt and efficient. Services were thoroughly explained and he even provided pictures of equipment. Very satisfied with all services.

I hired Higdon Service to replace the duct work in my attic, add some insulation, and install a dryer duct. They did a fantastic job. Everything went really smooth from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and very professional, Lee, Shawn, Jason, and Brandon . I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Technician did not have proper equipment or expertise for the job. Charged $360 and left without unclogging drain. Referred me to another company to do power flush. Second company simply used proper router and roof access to clean out clog in very short time. The clog was beyond what Higdon tech’s low-level equipment would reach. Paid way too much for no result.

Quick response to my call and home visit. Tyler was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Hopefully installation will go as smoothly and professionally as service call. Okay, so the installation of the water heater was completed and as before I was completely satisfied with the work done, it was timely and quickly installed. I definitely recommend Higdon Service and will call on them when I have need of heating and cooling repair!

I could not have been happier with my purchase and installation experience with Higdon. Lee came out to review HVAC purchase options and gave thorough recommendations at very competitive prices which included items such as additional insulation that I wouldn’t have thought to ask for but knew I needed! And the price was still lower than the competition!

The installation process was complete and accurate. While on site Jon noted a problem with my water heater and I asked for a quote to repair it and it was completed the next day. He even flushed my water heater tank at no extra charge and showed me how I can do it myself!

I am excited to have Higdon service my HVAC for years to come. I am very glad I made the switch.

Sean came out for maintenance inspection on my HVAC. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He explained about the consideration of a float switch possibly soon. He also reminded me of the importance of replacing my carbon minoxide detector. He was business minded but again patient with explaining to me the function of items and knowledgeable about recommendations. I highly recommend Higdon Heating, Cooling and Plumbing.

Sean and Jaelyn did a good job from what I can tell so far on my ventless gas wall heater. I detected a bit of a gas odor when I first turned it on. I tested the heat output, which was good and toasty, then turned it off. Maybe this is normal. The odor DID NOT trigger my carbon monoxide detector so must be okay. Wished the final cost was cheaper than $800, but so be it. At least I have heat now and I got a discount.
Wish the bill had also detailed the cost of the piping and heater itself.

Very happy with service. Xavier did a great job and communicated everything well. Job done quickly and without mess. Bonus points since my dog approved of him as well. Thank you!

Tyler and Peyton were excellent add service technicians and Liz had a scheduled the same day of the phone call to Higdon Services they were here within 2 hours of the phone call. Outstanding all the way around. They are highly recommended

Great service. Anthony from Higdon Service Heating and Cooling was sent to give us a price on upgrading or replacing our heating and cooling system or repairing our existing system. Anthony arrived same day and went over our requests for quotes. He took photo's of duct work and part of our unit that was in our attic, looked at the outside unit, thermostat inside as to how it was currently working and what changes could be made and then gave us the information we would need to replace these items due to their age. He was thorough explaining what could be done and gave us the information we needed to replace our existing system. He was happy to answer any questions we had and once we discussed that thoroughly he called to have an estimator from their company to price or repair said equipment. Great to work with.

We had an after hours emergency with the plumbing in the entire house. The tech that was assigned to us was Drew. He was amazing! He gave us updates about his arrival time several times (due to him having to get a little one situated). He arrived when he said he would and he was very kind. He fixed our problem in a timely manner and we haven't had any problems since. If you ever have to have a plumber, and I hope you don't, Higdon is the way to go. I hope you have a great experience during your emergency like we did. They provide so many services I'm sure we'll use them again.

Chandler dill and chase reedy came out to perform my first maintenance on my house that I purchased. they showed great professionalism and experience they brought up key points about my current hvac equipment and what to do in the future. Safe to say I’ll be calling higdon from now on they truly care about their customers and their honesty shows greatly through them.
