The AC in our home went out at 3pm on Thursday June 19, 22. After calling a couple of other companies and getting a firm maybe, we called Residential Air. The office person was so nice and said her guys were hustling to get all their customers taking care of. She said they might arrive around 8pm, but will definitely be there.
I was skeptical and resigned myself to a miserable night sleep.
The girl called around 8pm and said they're about an hour away from finishing and should be here around 9pm... Hope!!
The technicians called at 9pm and said they're on their way... Happy!!
Arrived, found the problem (capacitor), fixed it and was standing with us in or kitchen at 10pm enjoying some cold air coming out of the vents in a very warm house.
I will be a customer forever!! Thank you all so much for all your hard work on such short notice and really, really after-hours.

Our air conditioner stopped working. After a quick google search for ac repair we found Ward Heating and Cooling. It was after hours but Mr Ward still came over immediately and fixed our air conditioner. He didn't overcharge us and hike up the fee. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He even came in and made recommendations for us to get better air flow. I know he definitely has our business if the need should arise again in the future.

We called them based on the reviews and am glad we did.
We wanted a system to replace our old outdated Condenser and Handler.
They installed the new equipment when, how, and for the price they said.
Their equipment is nice, the Techs are clean and polite and pick up the trash that develops as the job progresses. They registered the equipment and gave us all documents and walked us through the new Thermostat. We got a follow up phone call and are confident we are "Good to Go" for many years to come.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't believe their website that says "Our goal is to deliver dependable, expert and timely service at fair rates to the Huntsville, AL community". We made an appointment with them on recommendation for some work on our AC system. They called the morning of the appt to confirm that they were coming. Then that afternoon they called and said they were not coming because we were outside of their service area which is in Hsv 35802 zip code. So obviously they do not service the Hsv community. And they don't mind wasting your time!! That's not dependable.

Chris has been my AC repair guy for the last 10 years and I would not think about calling anybody else! He explains exactly what is going on and does not charge you an arm and a leg to do the repairs or upgrades. If I ever have questions or concerns about my unit I can call or text him and he is always very helpful! I recommend him to anybody that ever asks for an HVAC repair contact!

I've been using Chris' services for years and years. However much I hoped and prayed my AC would never break; it invariably would. Chris was always the first person I'd look for when it did. Prompt, polite and professional. Would really take the time to diagnose the issue properly and throughly, fair prices. When it came time to retire my ancient HVAC system recently, I knew who I needed to call. Got a great price, installers did a great job and worked hard all day to get it done. Will continue to get my business time'n'time again! Good job guys.

Our HVAC system went out, Chris came out gave us estimate and within 3 day had a new system installed. They showed up on time with the crew of three people and had to work done by the end of the day and now we’re happy to say we have nice warm air in the AC will blow cold in the summer. I recommend Residential Air.

Great friendly service, he doesn't play any games, and reasonably priced! We have had issues with our brand new AC for 2 years, and we had to use another company because of the warranty. That other company kept telling us everything is fine. Now that we're out of warranty we called Chris at residential air, within a few hours he had our AC up and running better than it's ever ran before! And was able to fix the wiring mess up the other company did that kept telling us everything was fine... Residential air is the only AC company I trust, period!

Our air went out late one evening, and I found Mr. Ward on google the next morning. His reviews were great and well-deserved. He answered when I called, arrived quickly, repaired our HVAC and explained everything as he went. Professional, honest service with fair pricing. I highly recommend.

They serviced my AC unit in Jul 26, 2023. Excellent job, done in time. They did not leave before confirming that everything worked.
Today (4/1/2014) I called and talked to Chris about the problem with the heat pump I have. He took a time to explain everything to me in details, being very patient and professional.

I called around 8:30 am on a Monday and Nick was at my door within an hour! I had a capacitor that went out and needed to be replaced. It was mid August and that is a terrible time to be without AC. Nick was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue. He was very friendly and courteous. Great customer service! I will be using Residential Air LLC for any future HVAC needs!

The best ac company hands down. I had three different companies come out to my house with different opinions of what was wrong. I was trying to use a home warranty and it wasn’t working out so I looked at the reviews and knew this was the company to use. They came out same day and quoted me on a new system. My other was 14 years old and had problems for the last year or two so I knew I was going to need another. They got me on the schedule right away and the install was done so fast. I’m know enjoying amazing Ac and have found the company I will use for life!

Update* Had an issue with my drain line and they came out right away and fixed it. This is the service you want. People who will help and care about their customers needs.

Chris Ward and his helper came to my home today to give me a second opinion quote for repairs to my air conditioner.

Mr. Ward was very courteous, not only to me, but also in how he spoke with his helper! They were both very knowledgeable and professional. They were happy to have me observe as they worked to, efficiently and methodically diagnose and then repair my air conditioner unit. Each step along the way, the owner, Chris, explained what they were doing and why.

Their accurate and honest diagnosis and repairs SAVED me between $800 and $1,000 ccompared to other contractor estimates I had recently received.

And the other contractor had almost talked me into buying a new a/c unit which would have cost me significantly more.

I'm very grateful and impressed to find this kind of honesty and excellence in Chris Ward and to see that he is teaching his helpers to deliver the same kind service as well.

If I could give a higher rating, I certainly would!

I will absolutely call on them again, if I ever need heating or air conditioning work again, and it is an honor and privilege to highly recommend them to you.

Roy and Nick were very skilled, knowledgeable and nice. Roy let me watch him through his troubleshooting process and told me how he identified the issue and gave me the costs up front. He likes to educate the customer as much as possible and let them make informed decisions. Residential Air is awesome. Chris has helped us both times that we've needed help and he always has a solution for what we need. The company is really fair with their pricing and they're very professional and courteous. Definitely use them if you need help with your HVAC.
