My all the drains in my house were backing up and it smelled like sewage in the house it was unbearable. I called several other plumbers and Scanlon Plumbing was the only company not charging a fee to come and talk to me.

Ken showed up and assessed the issue in less than 30 minutes and then he got straight to work.

He unclogged the main sewer line and capped off an abandoned drain and ensured absolutely everything worked properly before he left.

Extremely professional, extremely fast service and top tier work!!!!

I would recommend these guys to anyone .

Scanlon Plumbing serviced my faucet because it was leaking, and they didn't stop the leak the first time, I called them back because the faucet was still leaking, and apparently they were angry because they had to come back, I also offer to pay them extra for coming back, it was not my fault that it was still leaking. I thought everything was OK.

I called Scanlon this morning because my hot water tank is not heating the water, I was told that someone would becoming out June 3,1024 because the person that answered the phone stated they had a cancelation, when I gave her my address, she told me that they didn't have a cancelation, I asked why did she tell me that she had a cancelation if it wasn't true, she stated that she would put me on a waiting list for 3 to 4 weeks and I asked why was she refusing me service and being dishonest about it, she said she wasn't, she was lying because she checked the cancelation before calling me. I knew she was lying and my sister called and she offered her that exact same appointment, she told my sister that she would service her address but not mine, this was very deceitful, she could have told me the truth, this is horriblethe way she treated me and if they lie about one thing, they will lie about something else, not trustworthy and used serious bad business practices, she could have simply stated that they didn't want to provide service to me, and I asked her if she was refusing me service and she lied and said no. I didn't do anything wrong and I didn't deserve this hostile, horrible, unkind mistreatment. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this business, and they are not reputable and trustworthy, they lied , and they will refuse you service if you called back for the same problem. I don't recommend this business because they are liars and they mistreatme me and used bad business practices.

They were quick and responsive when we called them with our plumbing emergency.

I had a very good experience using Scanlon Plumbing to resolve a stubborn bathtub clog. Scanlon responded to my initial inquiry promptly, scheduled me for a next-day appointment, and clearly communicated updates to me prior to their team's arrival at my home. Gene and his assistant were professional and efficient, and they charged a reasonable price for the service -- especially when compared to the rates charged by other Montgomery-area plumbing services.

Recently we were having trouble with the water heater not heating the water and reached out to Scanlon. I explained the issue and the tech was onsite within an hour and immediately resolved the issue. The technician went above and beyond to make sure it was all repaired by calling the next day and making sure there were no more issues. The 5 star customer service went a long with me. Thanks guy!!!

Scanlon fixed our water heater in record time and rescued us from having to take cold showers. And we really appreciate it! Seriously, we were prepared to have to get a new water heater but they diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and had it installed in a couple of days. Can't thank them enough!!!

I had to pull over off of Carter hill road this afternoon and fix my son's seatbelt and when I pulled back on to the road, one of your work trucks acted like it was going to hit me. It then followed me riding on my rear end so close that if I needed to slam on breaks it would have hit me. I got to a red light and the entire time I was at the red light the 2 guys in the truck were laying on their horn and flipping me off. I was so scared that I pulled off of the road into a public parking lot so they would pass me. The driver was white and the passenger was African American. I don't think that anyone should use a company that would employ people who behave in this manner.

Needed some plumbing work done at my house. I'm super busy with the power washing business and dont have time to do it myself. Called yesterday, no one answers at the number listed. Got a call back this morning from Latisha? Not sure. They may have done good work. I'll never know. They wanted $57.00 for an estimate. Hmmmm no! I don't charge my customers for an estimate if I go and quote them a house wash or a driveway cleaning. So I'll find some other plumbing company. I have driven all the way to Dothan to give an estimate and not charged for it. These guys cant be bothered to go across town with out a fee. No thanks.

I have used Hank's several times in my current home. First for a new water heater, and several times to clear trees roots from the sewer line. All work was perfomed to statisfation and I have only been charged the aggreed (fair) rates qouted. No sticker shock after repairs. Regarding punctuality, I have not had any issues. Submitting this review due to others that I see here that aren't representative of my experience. I intend to call Hank's first in the future.

Same day, quick, no hassle service. They cleaned out an attic HVAC drain pipe that was backing up and causing my a/c to shut off. The cost was reasonable. WOW, the initial service revealed an additional problem and they came out bright and early the next day and fixed the problem at no additonal charge!!

Had a backed up toilet that I could not deal with. They came out and diagnosed the issue of being a deeper plug due to poor house design (thanks Stone Martin!). Had a team out all day dealing with it and got it fixed. I didn't love having to pay to get things fixed, but the price was fair and reasonable for the time and effort they put in. In sum, quality care and service for a reasonable price - not much more you can ask for with a plumber.
