I called Douglas after hours when we walked in our house and the temperature in our home was over 90 degrees. Even though it was after hours they quickly dispatched a serviceman and Jonathon promptly arrived. He was pleasant, had a good attitude and seemed to be very efficient. He quickly got our system up and running.

EXCELLENT company! Jonathan was our technician & he was so efficient, professional & knowledgeable. Even though today is Sunday-they we’re open & answered my call & sent Jonathan out to my house in less than two hours! He had our air-conditioning working in no time! He is so polite! I will only use this company from now on! I can’t say enough great things about Douglas Cooling & Heat. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Highly recommend them!

The technicians from Douglas (looking at you John) are very knowledgeable and professional. They are quite capable of discussing fundamentally how an HVAC is supposed to work and how the equipment is supposed to be installed and adjusted for proper performance. I appreciate their willingness to troubleshoot before recommending replacement.

Highly professional recommendation for water heaters. Technician who originally visited was much more knowledgeable than the other two companies who provided estimates. I also felt that he was more concerned about my issues. Installation was extremely efficient - no mess or damage. The units are very organized connections aligned and in general highly professional. No corners cut and sloppy work. Very reasonably priced.

I have been using Douglas Cooling & Heating (KS Services) for about 7 years. They are the only people I call for my service needs. They have worked on my AC and Generator and have never disappointed me. Technicians always explain the problem and they are always on time. Never have had a problem with anyone working there. In the future, I will need a new AC/Heat unit and they will be the company I call.

Jonathan Sales, the technician that visited our home, was amazing and over the top kind, considerate, knowledgeable and professional. We will never even think about using another business from now on. The first place I called didn’t even answer, and I’m so happy they didn’t. I feel comfortable knowing that Douglas C & H is so close to our new home. 10/10!!!!!

This company knows quality, Jonathan just left after servicing our Mitsubishi Multi Zone system. Extremely professional with very reasonable pricing for the level of expertise needed to work on these systems. I recently moved to the area and needed to replace a 15 year-old water heater. The Douglas representative came out and we talked through the options without any high-pressure sales pitches, and I received a quote with four different options the same day, all of which were very competitive with quotes I had received from two other reputable companies. The work was completed exactly as described on the schedule that was agreed to. The technicians who did the installation were competent, friendly and respectful. I have found my new plumbing and HVAC guys in Bham and highly recommend them.

Jamie and Jacob just left after adding two zones to my multi-zone Mitsubishi system. They were incredibly professional and very aware of my sleeping baby, keeping noise to a minimum. They kept us informed whenever they needed to use noise-making tools. It was great to see the craft and enthusiasm they have for their work with Douglas Cooling and Heating. I could not recommend them enough.

Douglas installed a new Bryant heating and air system for us this week. After getting estimates from three companies, we chose Douglas. They are an excellent company. Jamie and Terry installed the system and were awesome. They were on time, knowledgeable, worked non-stop, neat, considerate and NICE. Their love of their jobs was obvious.They were very thorough and double-checked everything related to the new system before they left. They even did some extra things at no charge. Having been homeowners for 41 years we appreciate courteous, professional, friendly, and especially fair service from a company. Douglas is all this and more.

The first thing to say is that my job wasn't easy. It required fitting a new system into older duct work, getting up to code, and off site fabrication of fitting pieces. Plus, I needed both heating and cooling. So, this job was not an easy one.

With all that said, Douglas exceeded my expectations. Scheduling began the job, and the guy I talked to worked with me to find a date that would work around my homeschool schedule and my wife's work - no easy arrangement in itself. Then, the sales rep arrived to look at my system. The arrangement was just to look at what was going on, and the salesman walked in took one glance at the situation, and said, "So, we're replacing this, right?" I had a ton of questions given such a quick response. The salesman with a patience that defies reason explained each section not up to code, the problems seen with the heating, and the failures of the cooling. Every detail was pointed out to me. That's a level of professionalism that I haven't encountered.

At long last the replacement job arrives, a two man crew arrived at my house. They, initially, went through the steps of seeing where the job was and getting access. Then, the lead guy took the time to explain to me what the plan was. For example, the air conditioner would happen at this point; the heater at that point, and you may expect this, that, and the other thing during the process. As a result, I could handle the kids with the loud noises. Even after they completed the work [no small feat as I said], they showed me the results of what they did. The lead took me to each connection, showed me the outcome of the off site fabrications, and explained to me how the new thermostat worked - gave me a complete tutorial.

So, if you're looking for someone to do the job with technical accuracy, you've found your crew. If you're looking for some value added as far as customer service and professionalism, then pick Douglas Heating & Air.

Jeremy arrived on time and informed me of cost involved with installing a new water heater. He was very knowledgeable and jib well done. Will definitely call Douglas for future needs.

I had my Bryant unit serviced today by Douglas and it was a great experience. The technician was L.J. and he couldn’t have been more knowledgeable about my system. He did a great job at answering all my questions. I am a Robotics Engineer and it was impressive to hear him talk about my HVAC system like I talk about robots. Very high level. He found my starter capacitor out of tolerance with his meter and explained to me what it meant. So, I bought a capacitor as well. It’s very refreshing to meet Tradesmen that know their craft, and that are personable with a great attitude.

Jonathan did an excellent job of determining the problem and replacing a board under warranty. He and the other Douglas people have provided me with excellent service for many years.
