We subbed out to Wild North Services in the summer of 2025 to finish a land clearing project we had been workin on along side the Yentna River in Remote Alaska that we were not able to finish myself due to a scheduling conflict. We agreed upon a fair price for the work needed to be complete in a set time frame. The work was completed beyond expectations in the set time agreed upon. Stan is an exceptionally talented young man whom I highly recommend, and I look forward to future projects together.

Glad he came over a day after I contacted him. Answered pretty quick to google message. Told him I had a broken foot and could not scoop snow or snow plow and was a single mother of two little kids. I asked him to lessen my driveway as there is a huge hump going into my garage. I also had two stars up to my porch that needed to be scooped. When he came, he couldn’t scrap the driveway because it was too packed down and scooped the two stairs a bit, it was also packed down. Then he charged me $90 full price. For not being really able to do anything he shouldn’t have charged $90. Will go someplace else where someone charges me for the work they actually do. Will not recommend, will not use service as it feels like a dishonest small business. Thanks for getting one stair cleaned off. If you had discounted at all you would have had me as a customer and all my neighbors.

Bryan and the entire team at True North Contractors were fantastic with our roof replacement. We have a pretty challenging roof and many roof contractors wouldn’t even give us a bid! True North gave us a fair bid, listened to all the specific concerns we had about our roof (and had good solutions to address those concerns) and even repaired an area that was leaking to help us make it through the winter because they couldn’t fit us into their schedule that summer. When they were able to come the next summer, they worked hard, took pride in their work, did all the things they said they would to address our specific concerns, answered questions we had along the way, cleaned up the mess as they went and were always kind and respectful. We now have a beautiful roof and their solutions to our problem areas have worked! If you need a roof replacement, you will not find a better team than True North Contractors!!

Bryan, Cory and crew did a complete roof replacement on our complicated house roof in Cordova, Alaska. They removed the old tin roof with leaking screws and replaced it with a beautiful vinyl roof. Zero leaks and the snow sheds very well. These guys are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone, residential or commercial!

From the first phone call to the last hand shake on a job well done we were treated with respect & courtesy. They showed up on time with everything & everyone to get the job done in one day (total roof replacement) very neat, clean & professional. They did a great job keeping the mess & noise from impeding my neighbors. There was another Co. doing a neighbors house & there roofers were loud yelling back & fourth & playing loud music. Not True North they were very professional all the way. I Highly recommend them. 👍🏼

We had True North Contracting re-roof our home recently. They were not the lowest bid... but also not the highest. But they were the nicest and most professional of the 5 contractors we met with. The entire roof was done and cleaned up in one day. Every part of the work was done correctly, and nit a scrap of material was left on the property. The team was all wearing safety gear, which I thought was fantastic. 5 stars!

I hired this firm to reroof my home. They did an excellent job on time and for the agreed upon price. They cleaned up well and no nails staples etc left behind. I was so impressed with the work I referred them to four other homeowners in the subdivision all of which used their services as well! Great Company to work with. I would rate them a 10 out of 10.

Great job shoveling the roof!

So they came and did the roof on my apartment building, they came and were banging and working at 630am every weekday and weekend, they cut the cable lines so we all lost Wi-Fi for 4-5 weeks and when I called to let the manager know he was rude and never fixed the issues. I would NOT recommend using this company whatsoever.

Excellent job clearing snow and ice off of my roof. The crew were very polite, worked safety, and did a great job cleaning away the snow from our driveway and walking paths afterwards. I really appreciate the extra effort breaking away the ice in hard to reach areas. Thanks for coming out so quickly as well.

True North recently shoveled my roof and detached garage and did an excellent job. The team was fast and efficient and did an amazing job at cleaning up existing pathways and windows and not leaving snow jammed against house. Rates were reasonable and I highly recommend them.

I have used True North twice for roof repairs, following Alaskan winter storms. Both times, Bryan and crew have been prompt, thorough, friendly and professional. Their work is top-notch, and the areas they’ve repaired look great years later! With your home being your most expensive asset for most people, why trust repairs to anyone but the best? My first call (actually, my ONLY call) is to True North!

True North Contracting is an outstanding business. Last January 2025, two, hurricane force windstorms (gusting at 130+mph) left serious, extensive damage on the roof of our home. We phoned True North and within less than 24 hours, the owners Brian & Corey personally viewed the damage and provided an on-site estimate. Their roofing crew returned within two, business days and worked non-stop during far from ideal weather conditions. The quality of their work was exceptional. They showed up as planned, finished the job in record time and exhibited a very positive work ethic. True North Contracting saved our home.

This company can do decent work however the ability to do it safely is far and in-between. I always see them driving down the wrong sides of the roads, illegally blocking public assess to certain roads while doing minor work, parked in the middle of lanes not moving with no hazard lights on, etc. I have plenty of dash cam videos saved showing these behaviors. Of which one was from almost being killed by one of their grader operators blowing through a stop sign just because "we have blinky lights...". Just an FYI, blinking lights do not give you the right to put my life in danger while breaking the very clearly set rules/laws regarding driving unless you have EMERGENCY lights. Those include BLUE, rocket science is hard I know. I've not only talked to the police about this behavior but a lawyer as well and they all confirm this behavior is illegal in nature. Their advice: record everything because then you can proove a pattern of negligence.

If you hire them to work on your property, set up a camera to record the work session and just go straight to a lawyer next time if they damage anything. Always get before photos to document what it looked like before they show up. Do not record audio as that can run into gray area legally. Put a dash cam in your vehicle to prove anything that happens in traffic.

Watch out for these people on the roads and be safe all!
